## What is Moonkie?

Monkie is a 100-day program that helps you build a mindful relationship with your phone. No bans, no guilt — step by step, through daily practice.

Every day:
• Morning and evening rituals — set the tone for your day
• Detox challenges — less doomscrolling, more life
• Habits — small actions that add up to who you are
• Protocols — ready-made practices for your goal: anxiety, focus, sleep
• Leaks — gently taper your attention "leaks" on a plan, not cold turkey

How it works:
• Points and streaks for what you complete — see progress every day
• Chronicle — a journal of your path
• "Pause on the path" — if you slip, the program doesn't wipe everything; it lets you climb back
• Monkie — a companion that supports you, not scolds you

Monkie+ (subscription):
• Daily analysis of your day
• Ask Monkie chat
• Phase reports
• Daily reflection
Paid via the App Store, cancel anytime.

Monkie isn't about "delete all your apps." It's about reclaiming your attention — calmly and for real.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.60 — 2026-08-26

Marathons are shared events with a start date — seven days of one small promise, kept alongside other people. They now live right on your dashboard: mark the day where you already mark everything else, and see how many people held the line with you today. New here? The current marathon is on your screen from day one.

Friends without the app can join the same marathon from the web and sign in with just an email.

The Companions feed can be talked to now: leave a comment on what someone did, edit or delete your own, and hide any of your entries — one at a time or all at once.

Text across the app is noticeably larger and more consistent. If you found the dashboard hard to read, that is the change you will feel first.

Focus is temporarily off on mobile while we rework it — it returns simpler. It still works on desktop.

### 1.0.59 — 2026-08-21

Companions replace the leaderboard. See who else is holding the same practice today, join a shared run, and read what they wrote.

Shared entries. A new feed of diary notes, reports and Chronicle chapters that people chose to publish — with a quiet "someone's nearby" reaction instead of likes.

Retreats. Commit to a stretch of phone-free time, with sign-up days so you start alongside others.

Your first week. A card that introduces one new thing a day instead of dropping the whole app on you at once.

The day now closes as a timeline of what you actually lived through.

Focus got a day-restart screen with five ways back, plus tasks with due dates.

Notifications were rewritten from scratch — varied wording, quiet before your program starts and after your day is closed.

Chronicle chapters now come with collectible seals, and the whole Chronicle can be exported as a PDF book.

Plus a long list of fixes.

### 1.0.55 — 2026-07-25

1.0.55 — big iOS update, syncing with Android.

Morning brief — Monkie reads yesterday's data and suggests concrete steps for today.

Ask Monkie in context: describe what's happening right now, get one precise step.

Projects & tasks — new dashboard section: your projects, per-project tasks, session timer.

Diaries expanded — 6 types of entries (morning pages, dreams, brain dump, highlights, observations, gratitude).

Ritual constructor — build your morning and evening ritual from steps.

Pause on the path: if your score dips too far into negative, the program pauses. On return you can rebirth or climb back gradually.

Small polish everywhere: buttons, copy, load speed.
