Disappointing as I just started to get into the swing of things. Fingers crossed. UPDATE:This is a beautiful game that looks like it could be fun to play all day long. If. It. Didn’t. Crash. Every. Five. Minutes. To be fair it is a BIG game with tons of fun content which means frequent updates with patches (keep up the hard work devs) but the crashing makes it difficult to keep up with the storylines and the many tasks. Worth the download but will need a patient soul if you attempt to play the game as it is right now. ~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~ It really exists on mobile! A open world online game that offers you EVERYTHING! You choose how to enjoy the game. PVP for breakfast - PVE before bed. Gather resources all week and raid on the weekends. Cute and cool characters, level ups were underwhelming (stopped auto questing at level 111 after a couple weeks), the equipment options were neat, skin option was nice, story lured me in for a bit, but lack of required tactics to play made it not as engaging as it could have been and then when you do need some tactics, the unreliable stick is disappointing. Would like to a new controls, party play, and gear crafting system to lure me back into its depths. ### 3/5 — Great and fun but one big problem *2021-07-09, version 2.0* I love this game, it’s been very fun and my guild is super helpful! The game is fun, cute, and usually pretty smooth like when it comes to running around solo-leveling or character animations. The biggest issue is that the game crashes a lot if any other players are in my screen view fighting, and even if I have screen shake and effect visibility turned off entirely and the lowest settings my game still constantly crashes if I even try to participate in field raid. Normal raids are a bit iffy too. Can you guys please fix this issue? It makes it really hard/ almost impossible to participate in group activities in-game. Please fix the crashing issue. I play on an iPhone 7 for the record. Crafting: needs better tutorials. Level 130, still NO idea how to use most the ‘ingredients’ collected. Collection: takes essential items … NEVER should this be. Grinding: LOTS of grinding required (typical MMO) Pricing: TOOO high (95% packages over $26US) Shop: OVERPRICED (see Pricing) nothing worth purchasing (This comes from a ‘whale’ type player) Upgrades: material not scaled with player properly. Quickly find you can only upgrade items a few very low tiers then it is not practical to upgrade further (will cost $$$$ for ultra minimal improvements) Level Boss campers: first person to attack gets ALL credit. So powerful players and ‘campers’ will take the bosses all day on every level. Bosses: quest required, very difficult to get (see Boss campers) Boss drops: VERY rare drops, force everyone to camp, IF you can overcome campers, spend an hour trying to get a boss only to get a single ‘very common” junk loot drop. … Uninstalling. Tooo much grind. Tooo little reward. WAY overpriced. ### 3/5 — Crashes far too often *2021-06-15, version 1.0.1* The game is great, It doesn’t blow me away or do anything different than other mmos, it just does what ab mmo is suppose to do specifically on mobile. you have the the option to auto play/attack and for the first time, that option isn’t too bad either My only gripe with this game is it crashes far too often, if doesn’t crash during game it crashes at log in. Movement is a little clunky, especially when trying to manually target mobs, but overall good. I don’t quite understand how to attain skills—this could be made clearer since it says skills are obtained through quests. Am I supposed to seek these quests or are they part of the main story? Part of it is likely the age of my phone, but seriously, those areas need some optimizing. As more people pick up the game I’m having times where I can’t play at all because I’m stuck in Serraborg Castle and the app crashes before I can leave the area. ### 4/5 — Really Enjoyable, Needs Some QoL Adds *2021-06-01, version 1.0.0* I really enjoy the game. It's well translated and functional. The artwork is very cute, and you see Weed and other familiar characters from the novel the game is based on. I would say there's some quality of life changes that could make the game better, such as: major changes to the chat filter, removing the annoying RED DOT saying there's stuff to add to the Collection (it makes you want to submit the item first instead of using it on really necessary crafts and fusion people need early game), allowing multiple account connections instead of just one, etc. In terms of cash shop, there are definitely whales, but it's MOSTLY a pay to progress faster game, as there are top tier gear craftable in game without real life currency (but it's still expensive a week into the game). ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Crashes too much *2022-03-03, version 9.1* This could be a great game, and I would give this game a 4.5 if it didn’t crash so much. I have contacted support and they are no help. It is hard to enjoy any game if you are constantly crashing, and can’t even participate in certain raids and such because of it. Also, it would be nice if you could actually share some vanity armor between your different characters. Most of the time you can’t use what you get because it’s the wrong class. Please get the crashing issue fixed (especially since many who play have the same issue). ### 1/5 — Honest gamer Review *2021-08-08, version 2.1* In the 2 days that I’ve been playing this game I have noticed a huge pay2win monetization. Their battle pass is literally $45 which is absolutely ridiculous for a MMO that has a very small player base. In the 2 days I have yet to see a single real life player. This is yet another auto grind auto level auto play game. Which is like watching your older brother play while you hold a controller that’s unplugged thinking you are playing with him. This game honestly looks so fun and I want to get in to it. I’m able to play for about 15 to 30 seconds and then it crashes. It looks like a really cute game; however, the developers need to take care of this problem. Please be advised. Update: i have a 6th generation iPad and I have used both NA server 1 & 3 and I have also made more than one character as recommended by other reviewers. Yet it still continues to crash. I am so disappointed! This happened no matter how many times I restarted the game, hard reset my iPad, uninstalled then reinstalled the app… nothing works. Devs, please address this as I’m assuming most people using the iPad I have likely have this problem! Another MMORPG game had the same crashing issues for certain iPads, but the devs released a patch later on to fix this crashing/connection problem for these specific iPad models. I hope the devs for moonlight will do the same. ### 1/5 — So much potential yet so little came out. *2021-05-26, version 1.0.0* I gave the game a try, I really did. I wanted to like this game because of the art style, but it seems its another bad mmorpg. It has a bad story that is told poorly I don't understand what i'm doing half the time and the tutorials are annoying and last way longer than they should. The only thing that kept me sorta playing was the Auto-Play button. But the Auto-Play button hardly works, i'm either standing in place, running into walls, or doing what its actually meant to do. Thing is, i HATE using Auto-Play in mmorpg’s. But this one made it so i had to use it. I couldn't get past the taming part without losing brain cells. I uninstalled it because the player item exchange severely limits the number of items that can be sold, and there are maximum prices that are too low to make a profit. Also, equipment requires material that are either gifted to you randomly through events or unlocks, or purchased from the store. Users, keep an eye (or rather a hand) on your device’s internal operating temperature. The world of Moonlight Sculptor is waiting for you! ### 5/5 — Please make a Samurai class *2022-02-24, version 9.1* I wold love to see a samurai class in the game it wolf be a mix of ranged and melee use ing ether a samurai rifle or bow for long range and for close a katana or the like spear weapon I for get the name it wold be like a rival class for Warrior and I wold see the points you want to put in for damage and hp and defense but to balance it you wold have to be good at managing our skills because you do good damage but the skills have long cooldowns To balance for the damage you can put out but you have the tank ability to make you be able to stay in the fight as our utility/damage skills are on cooldown this will be a class that rewords patience and skill and to add to this you cold have it to we’re the class can have a pet like hunter but it’s limited to horse and other mount’s that make sense and adding like Japanese horse armor that you cold make to Mach our look wold be so rad please consider it I love this game but the small amount of classes limits the ability for people to play there play style ### 5/5 — Not bad at all *2021-11-10, version 5.1* I am not a bot, but I’m about to say some bot things lol. You just have to rely on your skills and the amount of potions you have for HP. Some people might not like that, but I like that feature. My fox is around level 50 and is very useful when defeating the tough monsters! For me, the game only crashes 99.9% of time when they need to shut down the server to fix glitches (something like that I think 🤔). Overall, love the game so far!
