Make it impossible for you to cancel your subscription, one you did not even realize you signed up for- I started getting charged $9.99 A WEEK- and had NO way to cancel. I wish I could give zero stars. Had to cancel my credit card in tears because I could not find a solution on how to cancel my subscription even after looking through the app a million times and reading their conditions. My subscription did not show up in my Apple account or anywhere for that matter making it impossible to cancel since I could not do so through the app. They suggest you do it in your “subscriptions” on Apple account- shocker, IT WASNT THERE!!! Even my CC account would not acknowledge a “reoccurring charge” - but I was getting charged weekly. SUCH A SCAM! There should be easy and concise ways to cancel a membership and- there is none. I even purchased coins to finish the book. All of a sudden the Moonstories app started adding recommended stories to my library…absolutely disgusting suggestions!!! (Inc*st!) That had NOTHING in common with the story I was reading!! And it won’t let me delete them!!! I’m so done! I’m deleting this app even though I have coins left. I have absolutely no interest in dealing with this developer ever again!!🤢😡🤬 ### 1/5 — Don’t subscribe *2026-03-24* The are bypassing the app stores for subscription management - I currently have no way to cancel a subscription I only wanted for a week ### 1/5 — What the actual hell *2026-03-22* I’ve been searching everywhere I can to cancel my account. They do not make it easy until you actually get a hold of them through their customer chat. I thought I was going crazy. I’ve never had this issue with any ereader. I didn’t get time to read what I wanted and now I don’t even want to do that. Absolute lies. I watched their ad which supposedly would allow me to read the next chapter. When I finished watching it acknowledged that I watched it and took me back to the pay to read the chapter page. So much for reading for free and so much for watching an ad to unlock the next chapter. I am deleting an app that can’t even approximate the truth. I tried to top up for the last 5 days and it won’t let me top up no matter what I do. I had been topping up previously so this came out of nowhere. I tried to talk to someone in their “service chat” about it and they have not been consistent for 3 days. I have been trying to figure out what’s going on for days and haven’t heard anything of use. I won’t be reading anything else and I will be deleting the app. ### 1/5 — SCAM *2026-06-02* I paid for a membership months ago and I haven’t been able to cancel it - they made it impossible! I’ve lost over $200 dollars because I can’t cancel it… ### 1/5 — AVOID *2026-05-31* The app itself is fine, but expensive to use if you don’t sign up for the VIP service. However, also avoid doing this!!! Once you’re in it, you seemingly can’t get out of it and it just keeps charging. I have tried every method possible, including contacting an email address I found online and email came back undeliverable. Don’t go through the hassle!! ### 1/5 — Cancellation *2026-05-29* I struggled with cancelling subscriptions on apps similar to this, if you are struggling to find where to cancel your subscription I think you can go to the app from which you purchased it e.g. PayPal. If you find your subscriptions from there you should be able to cancel your subscriptions. (I did ask Chat GPT to help so if this doesn’t work you could ask it yourself with the personal specifics) ### 1/5 — No way to cancel *2026-05-28* No way to cancel subscription, only wanted for a week and there’s now no way to cancel in apple subscription settings as usual. They have bypassed this somehow.
