## What is Moonzy?

Moonzy shows you the Moon as it actually is tonight, from where you stand.

See the phase, how much of the disc is lit, and when it rises, peaks, and sets. Scrub through the hours. Open a live sky map and point yourself toward it. Plan the month on a calendar with a Moon on every day.

WHAT YOU CAN DO • Tonight's phase, illumination, age, altitude, and Moon sign • Moonrise, highest point, and moonset for your location • A sky map with the Moon's path, compass, and a night satellite view • An AR finder that places the Moon in the real sky through your camera • A 3D Moon you can spin, including the far side • Lunar and solar eclipses, with magnitude, Saros, and where they are visible • A month calendar of phases, plus the named full moons of the year • Moon sign changes, elements, and a plain-language astrology library • A private journal for how each night feels • Reminders for the full moon, new moon, eclipses, and daily moonrise • Home Screen widgets, from a simple Moon to a full phase calendar • Two looks: Moonstone, the real lunar surface, or Candlelight, a soft glow • A layout made for iPhone and iPad

MOONZY PRO The Moon for tonight and the small widget are free. Moonzy Pro is an optional subscription that opens the AR finder, the detail and calendar widgets, and planning further ahead on the calendar and sky. You can restore a purchase any time in Settings.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN Rise and set times, phases, and eclipses are calculated on your device. Journal notes stay on your device. The Moon's surface is the 2025 LRO color map from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.

Set your place, pick your Moon, and keep an eye on the sky.

Whether you’re planning a night out, photographing the sky, or simply checking what’s lit tonight, Moonzy keeps the Moon close.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.5.1 — 2026-10-17

Moonzy on iPad now feels like the iPhone app, with room to breathe.

Tonight, the zodiac view, and the Moon globe all open the same way on a big screen. The dock, Sky, and AR finder stay centered and compact, so the sky stays the focus.

Plus a smoother Now button, a zodiac wheel that stays put in portrait and landscape, and a cleaner version line in Settings.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-10-14

Moonzy has been rebuilt.

• A quieter, glass design with Tonight, Sky, Calendar, and Library • Sky map with the Moon's path, compass, and a night satellite view • AR finder to spot the Moon through your camera • A 3D Moon globe you can spin and explore • Eclipse globe and map, with local timing, magnitude, and Saros • Phase calendar, named full moons, and a Moon journal • Astrology library for the Moon's sign, plus a glossary • Home Screen widgets for the phase, details, and the month • Moonstone or Candlelight, on the app and on your widgets • A dedicated iPad layout

The small Moon widget stays free. Moonzy Pro unlocks the larger widgets, the AR finder, and planning further ahead.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-28
