Logged in on the web using exact same credentials, no problems. The app is not working!!! ### 1/5 — Useless app *2025-01-10, version 1.4.1* My work recently started using this app for us to request holiday etc. The app is completely useless crashes constantly, you can amend anything on the app and it won’t even let you scroll down when trying to fill out a holiday request form. The mobile app is pointless and a complete waste of time. I’ll certainly be requesting my work stops using this platform. ### 1/5 — Shockingly poor app. *2025-01-04, version 1.4.1* Can’t log in, when I book a holiday it just goes to white and I have no idea if it has worked or not. In the past year it hasn’t improved at all! ### 1/5 — Wow!! *2025-01-03, version 1.4.1* I have spent the last 5 hours attempting to log into my account with Moorepay. Clearly I (and my password remembering phone) forget the password within 6 seconds of changing it! Forgot password, confirm new password, invalid username or password… Really is shockingly poor… ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-12-12, version 1.4.1* Have to reset password every time I use the app. This then starts a whole process of having to access a different email address to then create a new password(one I have never used before) which ultimately will result in me going through the whole process again when I next want to see my pay… The online version is no better. One mistake on the password and your account locks and you begin the dreaded loop AGAIN! ### 1/5 — No Good *2024-11-06, version 1.4.1* Great idea, just a shame it doesn’t work, doesn’t display payslips easily, since my employer made us switch everyone wants paper payslips, we used to have email, would rather have paper than use this app. 1 star is too good ### 1/5 — Sad *2024-11-04, version 1.4.1* Am sad since I used to quickly access Moorepay via a web browser on my laptop or desktop. Now the app is the only way to access it. Furthermore the app is very buggy, it hung when trying to download my latest payslip. This is the future: staring into my phone every evening clicking away the time, trying to accomplish simple things that used to be completed with a few bits of paper in the post. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2024-09-06, version 1.4.0* Way too many bugs, have to update the app every time you log in. Extremely basic and feels very old. Really needs attention and a make over. Modernisation is required. ### 1/5 — Appalling App *2026-02-20, version 1.4.3* Biometric log in on 19th, then on 20th the app told me I was logged out and to enter my details again. This happens every pay day. This app is awful and considering my large multinational company use it for salary and holiday it is shockingly bad,how it still exists is beyond me. It has been bad from the start of using it going back at least a year. Sick to the back teeth about the constant crashing and then the infuriating pass phrase change that is “Required”. Really, most other sites know that if you pick a strong pass phrase instead of a password then tweak parts of it to conform to numbers, letters & special characters, you have a potentially very good phrase that is easy to remember and also very hard to crack. Get your act together Moorepay or pass on the access to wage slips to a proper business that knows what it is to do to allow access and keep security. ### 1/5 — Constantly logs you out *2025-08-27, version 1.4.3* The app will not remember your login details and constantly logs you out which is frustrating. ### 1/5 — Total garbage! *2025-08-27, version 1.4.3* It would be easier to find another job with another employer that uses anything else than getting this nonsense to work. ### 1/5 — Awful *2025-07-25, version 1.4.3* How this gets 4 stars is confusing. The only thing that would make it perfect for me, is if I didn’t have to manually scroll through my time sheets to check how many hours I have booked every month. (overtime 1.5x and overtime 2x for example) Counting how much extra I’ve done of each that goes towards next months wage is very frustrating perhaps the app could have a way of telling me how much of each i have booked for the month if this was the case it would’ve been a 5 star review. If I logged in and tapped timesheets and at the top it displayed January Units Hours code 7 1.5x Overtime 10 2x Overtime 2 Out of hours call out This would make the app 100 times better! no messing around I can work out how much extra I’ve done in a matter of seconds rather than having to count it all myself I don’t know if other people have the same frustrations as me but if I was to guess I’d say quite a lot of people would like to know Hope this helps ### 4/5 — Horrendous!! Initially, but now edited (12/07/2024) *2024-07-12, version 1.3.6* My employer changed their payroll system to this, apparently it would be easier to access. It is not. It says I am logged in, however, attempting to view any of my information results in the app hanging / crashing or just timing out. The app crashes constantly. Eventually displaying an error message. Don’t bother trying the “talk with support” option as this also doesn’t work. I doesn’t or won’t display any information, an inordinate amount of time passes whilst it “thinks” about showing any information; it doesn’t. Deleting the app and reinstalling does not solve these issues. Accessing the website is another terrible experience akin to the above comments. This app / service fails at it’s fundamental underlying basic purpose. Terrible, dreadful, awful, disappointing and disastrous user experience. Moorepay, make it work! Ignore the one star it’s a zero star application. Edit: 12/07/2024. My employer has managed to correct the issues I and many others were experiencing. The transition to Moorepay was rife with issues, payroll had to manually correct wage payments. After a lengthy support process the system was reset and instructions were issued for all employees to resubmit their log in details. This was successful and I am now able to access my details, within the Moorepay App. According to my business payroll department, the App that was originally referenced was an older version which caused confusion and prevented access. I am updating my user review to four stars to reflect this favourable outcome. The App is working, I can access my details and it performs it’s basic function adequately. I’ve left one star off as the initial adoption of the system left a poor user experience which can never be removed. ### 3/5 — No updates and buggy *2026-03-18, version 1.4.3* The principle of the app is sound and it should make payslips much more accessible for employees, but unfortunately a poorly designed UI and buggy features cripple it unless you are tech savvy, and even then there are problems. 2FA codes either copied from an authenticator app or which pop up from the apple passwords app, have a bug were all the digits are input into the firs character space, rather than having each digit put into each separate box in the 2FA code. And then once you do manually type in the password and 2FA code, and enable biometrics, after a period of several days you are met with a message saying you session has expired and you have to go through 2FA again and re enable biometrics. My banking apps don’t even do this. The app hasn’t been updated in 10 months on iOS and is an unloved afterthought from Moorepay. We were going to buy the T&A and Holiday modules but after such a poor experience with the basic payslip functionality, we have decided to look at alternative suppliers. A real shame when there was so much promise. ### 3/5 — Generally good *2025-07-22, version 1.4.3* As an employee this is useful and has good features. Problems as mentioned in previous reviews still seem to exist: Regularly you are logged out and have to sign in again. The setting for biometrics (Face ID) doesn’t stick and you have to remember to check it again once logged in. When looking at dates on a specific month on the calendar, it sends you back to the present month, which is frustrating and confusing. Apart from these gripes it’s not too bad. ### 3/5 — Great app but… *2023-11-13, version 1.2.9* App is fine, only problem I have is that it’s always got some type of problem with the app. Too many bugs on the app which means, I have to use the online version and sometimes the online version doesn’t work but that’s rare. ### 2/5 — Keeps logging me out. *2025-12-21, version 1.4.3* This app would be good if it didn’t keep logging me out all the time. Surely this shouldn’t be difficult for the developers to fix. Other apps don’t log me out all the time. ### 2/5 — Missing pension contributions & payslips *2025-03-28, version 1.4.1* Our company moved to Moorepay recently and our first payslip was delayed. In our second month with Moorepay they hadn’t processed our employee pension contributions, so they have had to be pushed to next month. And then this month no payslips again apart from his some obscure link to the payroll site itself. The app / site doesn’t show the payslips at all ### 2/5 — I’m sure everyone just wants their payslips *2024-07-31, version 1.3.7* This app takes too long to access payslips so much authentication etc, I would rather have it sent than use this app, it’s unnecessary.
