It gives my wife and I a clear view of our portfolio and spending behaviour. I share it with all my mates that speak to me about property investment and building wealth. It’s amazing how this app starts open and honest conversations around the fire that we weren’t so open to before. There is some sort of bug where it sends notifications continuously - same notification’s every few minutes - very annoying and will have to delete app as there is no settings ### 1/5 — 2FA a massive let down *2023-02-19* Using Google Authenticator for your security purposes is a mistake. I’d struggle to think of a less user-friendly system if I really tried.. I can’t even get in. I understand the issue is at my end (i.e. problems with my Google account), but this is the system you’ve put in place and for some people like me its absolutely horrendous - I’ve just spent over an hour trying to set Authenticator up with no luck which means I cannot access the Moorr app. Beyond frustrating. I’m sure its great once you get in, but for me I’m better off sticking to a spreadsheet! 👎 **Developer response:** Hi Red_Doge, we're so sorry to hear this. The 2-Factor-Authenticator (2FA) is important to ensure a high level of security but sometimes, it can get a little tricky. Moorr is actually built to support multiple ways for 2FA apart from Google Authenticator. There are other authenticator apps that can be used and we also support SMS. We look forward to hearing from you soon. ### 2/5 — Auto syncing of accounts *2024-08-02* I currently use WEMONEY to track my net worth. The thing I like about WEMONEY is that it automatically logs into my bank accounts, super accounts, shares and crypto accounts and updates the figures daily. I have only just downloaded MOORR and I noticed the feature of auto updates is not part of the app which is a shame as updating my accounts constantly would be annoying so it’s a shame that I’ll need to delete MOORR, but it does look fantastic, I just need automatic updating. **Developer response:** Hi Gowie77, Thanks for your comment regarding Moorr. It has been the first time I have implemented a budget idea that I could ‘sell’ to my family; it also helps spot the areas you are spending subconsciously while allowing freedom to splurge. The underpinning approach is not dissimilar to barefoot (also very sound), but I have found the app / website helps me manage bills and competing priorities really well.
