This app provides an interface to a new BLE multimeter developed by Mooshim Engineering LLC. The app has 4 main modes: - Scanning Performing BLE scan for compatible hardware - Metering Streaming samples from the meter and providing a textual display, as well as providing an interface to the configuration of the meter. - Graphing Streaming samples from the meter and displaying them graphically. - Updating firmware The app contains a firmware binary for the meter. When connected, the app checks the meter's firmware version and uploads the new firmware if necessary. Measuring the charging of the car from the livingroom etc. is very easy. Logging is also fine. But if you try to do real work with it, the App is really anoying. I don't need all these flipping digits, but I can't reduce the number of digits. The Mooshim Meter can't have the accuracity it shows by the number of digits! If you have a slowly moving process it's nice to see the changes, but most of the time flipping digits are just anoying! PLEASE give us a (soft-) switch to reduce the number of digits to 4 or 5 and by this make it a real electronic instrument! And please give us a switch to free the diplay from all the stuff we don't need for work. In total: The instrument itself is genuously (*****), but the expected professional developement of the App (*....) didn't happen in the last 2 years. I still hope for it! ### 2/5 — Buggy *2018-12-10, version 1.12* Crashes when reviewing sample logs, occasionally crashes randomly. Not very impressive to have an app that’s not even fully functional, much less refined. ### 1/5 — Very poor graphics *2017-04-13* Whilst the functions seem to be all there, the graphics in the iOS version are childlike in their simplicity. If you think you're going to get the screens shown in the ads, forget it. They must be for Androids. ### 1/5 — Not Compatible with iPad Air II *2017-03-05, version 1.10* If you purchased the Mooshimeter for use with an iPad Air II your out of luck. The app will not work on an Air II It will not display the complete information is not usable ### 3/5 — Please Add High Resolution *2017-01-06, version 1.10* Nice work but please add the high Resolution :) ### 2/5 — a Step backward *2016-08-22, version 1.07* unfortunatly the GUI of the new version ist totally impracticable. you can't hardly distinguish between mesured data and labels of the data fields because there is no more background color. everything ist white in white. And what about "internal Temp". its now measuring "K" not Celsius or Fahrenheit.... ### 4/5 — Best Meter Ever *2016-06-10, version 1.06* A multimeter that can display or graph two channels, log data to an SD card, and uses an iPhone screen for the display is an amazing concept. It kept dropping the connection until I updated the firmware as described on the developer's web site. With the new firmware, the app works well although the UI is a little wonky. For example, tapping to cycle through options is awkward, but workable. ### 2/5 — Absolutely could have revolutionized the Multimeter *2016-02-06, version 1.06* Great work on the hardware, now just dial in the app, this thing has tons of potential but the developer stopped working on the app. It would be awesome to use iOS iPad native functions such as split view. Also it would be awesome if we could by default disable or enable each channel. ### 2/5 — Stopped working *2015-12-23, version 1.06* Nice hardware but when I select my meter from the list it goes into a firmware update every time. It even does so after I get the message that says the firmware was successfully updated.
