### 2/5 — Abandoned app and product

*2023-08-26, version 5.2.4809.252*

Maps don't load anymore.

Used to be great, not sure why did it die. Love mine

### 2/5 — This app was amazing

*2021-10-13, version 5.2.4809.252*

I tried to change my password and the website on my phone and laptop says the site is corrupt. Idk I just returned the item.

### 2/5 — Core functions lacking

*2021-10-02, version 5.2.4809.252*

The fact that you have start a workout or swim within app on your phone to get band started tracking your motion is very annoying. I don’t understand why this type of device cannot passively track a swim or run? Whenever it happens and then sync later? Also having to tap device to get it to sync is also a downside. After getting a Moov Now, I can see it’s more marketed to someone that is just getting started with physical fitness, with the robo trainer trying to talk to motivate you. Someone that just wants this thing to track distance of swims or runs and is already an athlete will find app cumbersome. This only got two stars because the wearable itself is well executed and comfortable. However the digital user experience and manual steps needed to make it work make the product a real pain to use. Please update the app soon to make this product more usable going forward. Still selling physical product on Amazon and then abandoning app is not cool.

### 2/5 — Not well supported

*2021-07-21, version 5.2.4809.252*

I bought a Moov now off Amazon for swimming. It seems to track just fine unless it fails. Out of about 25 swims it lost connection on 2. The coaching isn’t all that great. I like the work outs but again it can be a bit glitchy. It is especially frustrating when you are trying to get that last squat to register correctly. I purchased the HR addition on July 5th but no product or response from emails. No phone number to call. Not many updated on social media accounts. The business must be going under. You’re probably better off spending your money on something better.

### 4/5 — Good app - would like ability to customize workouts

*2021-06-06*

Have used app for a while for both running and road cycling and it tracks the workouts well. I liked the addition of HR monitor tracking that was added after the first Kickstarter release.

The voiceovers on the outdoor cycling though are off especially when it comes to altitude gains - it seems to track gains from sea level and not from any altitude related to my workout location.

Would love the ability to put HR targets in cycling. Under running section, Open run and Open HR run have the start of what I would like. Additional changes should be able to have multiple intervals with different targets which I haven’t seen the ability to do yet.

### 2/5 — Good app, needs to be more flexible

*2020-04-05, version 5.2.4809.252*

Users should be able to set app volume independently of changing the volume of other apps. For example, when I set the coach app volume to low, I don't want the volume of my streaming music to change!

### 3/5 — Mohammad

*2020-04-04, version 5.2.4809.252*

I cant login my moov acount!!!

### 4/5 — Time for update

*2020-03-26, version 5.2.4809.252*

I really enjoy using Moov during my exercises, and I think it offers good HR monitoring in a non-conventional form (i.e. headband) which I really like.

Having said that, I do feel like it is time for an update to the app from the developers of Moov. I would really like to see more improvement in the syncing of data with Apple Health (particularly the HR data), and perhaps better general tracking g for the Moov Now, when wearing it for everyday tracking, which I feel is inaccurate when worn on the non-primary (i.e. the left ha d for me).

### 2/5 — Annoying! Requires location services to be always on

*2020-01-22, version 5.2.4809.252*

Annoying! Requires location services to be always on. I don’t think this was always the case. Please fix so I can give additional stars.

### 4/5 — Great Multi-Sport Tracker, App Could Use Improvement

*2020-01-15, version 5.2.4809.252*

2 Parts:
1) My Tracker Experience (for running, PT)
2) App Suggestions

MY TRACKER EXPERIENCE:
I sincerely think Moov is one of the absolute best performance trackers out there and currently own two Moov Nows & a Moov HR chest band. I purchased them for health reasons and to assist in physical therapy.

Every time I ran, I either couldn’t run again for days or pain worked it’s way up my body, getting progressively worse. Eventually I saw a physical therapist who determined my cadence was actually causing my woes. Because of my slow cadence and long stride, my foot was striking in a position that caused me to put stress on my joints improperly.

My prescription? Increase my cadence to 160 steps per minute. I was at somewhere between 140-150. But how the heck was I going to do that? My PT recommended apps that were like a metronome. Imagine running to that? I even found some apps that find songs that help keep your cadence up. Interesting ideas, but I needed somebody (or in this case, something), to give me constant guidance on my stride and steps per minute (with the proper steps per minute comes a smaller, more proper foot landing & stride) to know I was getting things right. So I kept searching for options until I came across Moov. My mind was blown. Can this little thing really be what I was looking for? It coaches your stride? And the g-forces of your foot strike? It can track swimming laps and strokes? And biking cadence? And it has workouts in app? Sign me up!

They work great. I’ve been using my Moovs for cycling and running for years now. I even used it for a swim. I’m glad they’ve improved the bands. And I was especially excited when the HR Moovs came out. The only thing I don’t like is always having to press the Moov Now tracker to get the app to find it pre-workout. Even when I just was using it for another workout. Oh well.

THE APP:
Depending on the workout, you may or may not need your phone for immediate access / view. For cycling, I have a phone holder to show my cadence. For running, I should really get one of those arm bands, but I usually have it quickly accessible to sometimes look at stats while running, though the coach will also tell me my cadence, how many seconds are left in a workout interval (when doing a guided workout), and when to rest.

As much as I love my Moovs, I really wish there was more of a community app experience. It would be great to see others out there with public profiles. Fitbit can be super annoying with all the selfies, but I don’t know very many athletic people in my life, and being able to reach out to a greater community would be fantastic. Then maybe I could participate in challenges against people!

Also, I remember when I first learned about the Moov boxing, I thought it would have a boxing *tracking* option vs. the Guitar Hero-esque punching game (which is very fun, BTW). But if it could track, say, how many punches thrown, and the g-forces of those punches (or kicks, such as in kickboxing!), that would be a huge sales point to a huge community, especially with boxing and MMA blowing up. (Also, I could get my boyfriend to get some Moovs).

Anyway, love Moov, but I want more! The boxing tracking would be kick butt.

### 3/5 — App update???

*2020-01-10*

I’ve been using Moov for over 5 years and love it for biking, walking, & swimming but especially sleep tracking. After a recent update, the sleep portion is now gone. This was a major reason I preferred MOOV over any other wearable. I’m hoping it’s an error and comes back. If not, I don’t see any advantages to buy MOOV over any other competitor

### 2/5 — Not Connecting

*2020-01-05*

Sometimes the Strap Core connects most times it does not, very aggravating when trying to get your cardio going. I have tried multiple times for this to connect to the app and simply wont, keeps saying strap core is required when I am wearing it. Any help would be nice to the issues I have been occurring. Thanks.

### 4/5 — Nice...

*2019-08-11*

I’ve used the Moov Now band and this app for a long time. I love the 7 minute workout and even now think it’s execution a cut above competing apps. Sometimes it misses a rep or counts one as bad for no discernible reason but it’s generally pretty spot on. One thing I’m surprised they haven’t fixed is that when you take a photo at the end of a workout, it still defaults to the rear camera. For runs, there are the occasional Bluetooth connectivity issues that others have noted but it otherwise works well, the only downside being you need to run with your phone. With the larger models that are popular now, that’s a bit of a hassle and it would be nice to see Apple Watch integration as an alternative. I would also like to see them update the design of the Moov Now, preferably to something that has a rechargeable battery.

### 3/5 — Not bad but can be improved

*2019-07-09*

I think the mechanics of the app and devices are great! However I would like to see integration with the Apple Watch as a possible heart rate monitor as well as having an Apple Watch app so we wouldn’t have to have our phones with us when we workout. Other than that, the interface, the structure, everything else about that app I love. Integration with Apple Watch would make this perfect.

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2019-03-23, version 5.2.4809.252*

It was already bad and constantly disconnecting from the device and losing data. Doesn’t record sleep now.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — After IOS 17, it is not working

*2023-11-05, version 5.2.4809.252*

Unbale to give the locational tracking permission.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2022-10-28, version 5.2.4809.252*

An absolute waste of time. Their bands aren’t secure at all and one bump undoes them. The company is garbage at responding to anybody with issues without showing them you’ve reported them to relevant governing bodies. Their items frequently break and are constantly delivered broken. Multiple glitches in recording. The workouts follow no logical path and are all 100% the same and show that whoever wrote them has NO understanding of how to write a program.

### 1/5 — No updates?

*2021-03-13, version 5.2.4809.252*

Been no updates for over 1 year and still no ability to use an improved voice. Lots of other options that are better now. Needs an update. Very disappointing.

### 1/5 — They no longer exist

*2021-01-04, version 5.2.4809.252*

I purchased the Tracker and Heart Rate monitor at the start of December. I have had no update on shipping or had a response by the customer service team. They no longer are active on social media, I have lost my money. Look at when the app was last updated... I suggest you find alternative activity tracking service.

### 1/5 — Out of business?

*2020-10-06, version 5.2.4809.252*

Lack of updates over the years makes me doubt the app and business in general is operational. If they are, they certainly don’t care about their users. I’m looking at a history of unanswered questions, unfixed bugs and lack of incremental improvement.

For the second time I’ve just lost a swim workout when presented with a screen during sync that asks if I’d rather continue workout or “Abort”. A bit scary that. A bit sci-fi. Am I on a battle field? What will happen? Will I lose my data? Seems so... all I was looking for was “Continue sync” but apparently that wasn’t available to me. Instead an hour wasted. I’ll probably just get an Apple Watch.

### 1/5 — Useless support team

*2020-09-02, version 5.2.4809.252*

Don’t buy the tracker you need for this app. The support team doesn’t have a phone number and will not reply to your emails. I still haven’t received the tracker I ordered three weeks ago and nobody will talk to me about it.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2020-06-30, version 5.2.4809.252*

- product faulty and does not do what it says
- app not updated in a year
- return form on site no longer exists
- reply to emails with automated requests

I can’t stress this enough. Do not buy this product, it does not work and is no longer supported in any capacity.

### 1/5 — Ain’t working

*2020-03-15, version 5.2.4809.252*

I’ve been using of for a long time now, but my Moov wrist band stopped working a couple of months Back and hasn’t recovered since then. Please help.

I have 4 moov wristbands, and none work anymore.

### 1/5 — Faulty product, slow customer support, even slower delivery

*2019-12-09, version 5.2.4809.252*

It took a month for a product to be delivered and then one of the trackers wasn’t working. The customer support is equally slow, I doubt I’ll ever see this resolved or my money back.

### 1/5 — App is Dead

*2019-09-14, version 5.2.4809.252*

Company hasn’t released new features or even had a marketing tweet in over a year. As an individual who crowdfunded this I’m very saddened by it being abandoned.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best App

*2026-01-30*

I just updated my App without realizing there was a new version. I was so disappointed that the app didn’t work for two days. MOOV has been helping me with my swimming training since 2017, until two days ago. I’m very happy to have this new, updated version. I will try it tomorrow!

### 5/5 — This was such a great app/hardware

*2026-01-29, version 5.2.4809.252*

Well as of 01/29/26 it looks like the app no longer works.
I’ve used the hardware and the app to track my swimming since it first came out and it was a game changer for me.
But as of the most recent update to iOS, it keeps quitting in the middle of uploads.
Supper bummed. This was a great app and a really good piece of hardware for swimming.
RIP Moov… I might be your last user signing off.

### 5/5 — awesome

*2020-10-03, version 5.2.4809.252*

Without exaggeration ..
it is one of the best sports programs .. and the device is unparalleled

### 5/5 — Love it

*2019-04-30, version 5.2.4809.252*

Would like to be able to adjust interval time in thirty second increments.

### 5/5 — Great for workout nerds

*2019-03-24*

Does a spectacular job of recording information and giving you great numbers to work with for analysis on your performance over time.

If you’re a swimmer, I don’t know of any app that is better.

### 5/5 — Underrated awesomeness

*2019-01-11*

Moov Now really stands out from the crowded wearables market by offering something that cares about your form and actual performance. Its prompts really help me to push harder, and not just specific to one sport but various. I hope to see more Moov hardware to come, though I have nothing much to complain about what I have already! Thank you for a brilliant product.

Thanks for taking the time to review us!

### 5/5 — Good device

*2018-12-31, version 5.1.4094.250*

Moov is a pretty device considering the price point. I have the 2 devices for over a year and use them mostly for cardio boxing. However, the company need to upload more options for exercise as it doesn’t take long to get bored of doing the same routine over and over.

### 5/5 — The Greatest Fitness Tracker So Far

*2018-11-04, version 5.1.4094.250*

Moov Now is an excellent tracker. I’ve had it for over a year now and it is great

### 5/5 — It's a good devise and app.

*2018-10-06*

I have swam 157 km with Moov Now for over a year. It has worked well for the most part (I think only two instances that it failed to sync and lost data). The readout of my swimming laps and styles are very accurate. Am getting the Moov HR soon.

**Developer response:** Hello there,
Thanks for taking the time to write us a review. If you're experiencing any issues with your device, you can let us know via support@moov.cc. We'd be happy to help.

### 5/5 — Love it!!

*2018-07-22, version 5.0.3326.248*

I love this app!! Love the Moov! Makes the workouts trackable and I’m getting great sweats out of it! Bought a second Moov for the kickboxing. Just wish y’all would add more workouts!! Different styles!!
