### 2/5 — Funktioniert

*2026-04-02, version 2.5.71*

### 2/5 — Meh

*2026-01-13, version 2.5.71*

They work great, when they work. I don’t know why I keep buying them but I do. I’m on my 4th one and this one barely made it a month before it stopped working. You’d think for what they charge for them they would be better quality but sadly they’re not. Trying to contact them is another nightmare so this will be the last one I will buy, they’re $70 worth of junk.

### 3/5 — Nur Englisch

*2025-11-13, version 2.5.71*

### 2/5 — Upgrading Tank Problem

*2025-10-20, version 2.5.71*

I switched from 20 lb to 30 lb tanks and the app won’t accept the change. Not much use. Going to go to old fashioned gauges. Great product when working.

### 4/5 — Solid…. with one deal-breaker!

*2025-06-09, version 2.5.71*

I use a wall mounted iPad to control all the wi-if and Bluetooth devices in my adventure van… 11 different apps in total. Annoyingly, this is the ONLY app that won’t work on a device rotated landscape, so I’m unable to use it.

C’mon, Mopeka…. this is basic developer stuff! Otherwise seems to be a solid and useful app.

### 4/5 — Read if you use Blue Rhino tanks

*2025-06-03, version 2.5.71*

This is has one glaring issue that is easy to overcome.

In the app the settings are for 20 pounds and up. The tanks that a lot of people use in the US under the name Blue Rhino are only 15 pounds. If set it to “Arbitrary “ and 9 inches it is perfect !

Developers please add an option for 15 lbs.

The warning about under 20% is caused by poor signal. Once I got the tank off the floor it went away.

I some masonry I have the tank on so I didn’t have to use the little metal spacers.

### 4/5 — Aplicación muy útil!

*2025-05-31, version 2.5.71*

La aplicación es muy útil!

### 3/5 — Working now

*2025-05-19, version 2.5.71*

Could not get the app to acknowledge that Bluetooth is actually turned on on my phone — IT IS. Clicking ‘Help’ in the app results in a ‘404 not found’. Had to delete and redownload the app and got it working.

### 4/5 — Works Well Enough; Could Be Better

*2025-02-24, version 2.5.71*

First off, I’m pleased with the overall performance of the Mopeka sensor products. I picked up a pair of Pro Plus sensors, plus a WiFi bridge, to monitor my home’s two LP tanks remotely. They do a good job of that via this app.

However, that being said, the app is pretty basic, and I can only get the sensors to pair to one of my devices at a time. Despite trying to log in to my account on a second device, it doesn’t see the sensors.

Another gripe is that I can’t for the life of me reach Mopeka customer support. I opened a ticket with them over two months ago, and still no reply. Is anyone even home there??

I would love to see some quality-of-life improvements to the app:
1) Multi-device support
2) iPad landscape view (currently it’s locked to portrait only)
3) More customizable alerts
4) Ability to track and chart gas usage over time (e.g., by day, week, month, season, etc.)
5) Dark mode

Hopefully the folks at Mopeka are still around and see this. If y’all do, please reply to ticket 10806 that I opened Jan 9th, 2025 which has so far been totally ignored.

Thanks.

### 2/5 — constant bluethooth pairing issues

*2025-01-30, version 2.5.71*

constant bluethooth pairing issues

### 1/5 — Have to reset often

*2025-01-27, version 2.5.71*

Barely works, have to disable cloud, wait, enable cloud then set tank size, disable & enable again to get a reading.

### 4/5 — Leider fehlt die in DE übliche 5kg Flasche

*2025-01-26, version 2.5.71*

### 2/5 — I guess I’ll have to go buy a gauge🤷‍♂️

*2025-01-20, version 2.5.71*

I had such high hopes. My wife bought these, obviously taking a cheaper route. App worked for 1 day hasn’t worked for the last 3 days. Can’t solely depend on this app.

### 2/5 — Constant notifications

*2025-01-09, version 2.5.71*

I have the app set to be notified if the bottle gets below 20% and the notification frequency set to once a day. The longest it will let you set the check interval is 30 seconds. No matter what I do the app sends notifications every 30 seconds one a bottle is below the 20% level which is extremely annoying. Other than that it works as it should. I saw the other reviews stating the same but was hoping they had fixed it. Should have noticed they have not done and update on this app in over a year. They clearly know there is a problem and just don’t care enough to fix it.

### 3/5 — Constant Notification Issues

*2024-11-13, version 2.5.71*

I have been using these sensors for about 6-7 months now and from the start I have had issues regarding notifications with this app. More specifically the notification frequency which no matter what I do defaults back to the “every 12 hours” setting, and more annoyingly doesn’t even abide by this and instead sends constant notifications when I am within range on my sensors.

Not long after purchasing them I contacted support and they advised me to use their other “pro” app to update my sensors firmware to resolve this yet the issue persisted.

So a couple weeks ago I once again reached out to support and informed them I was still experiencing the SAME issues at which time they decided to replace both my sensors. After a little over a week with the new sensors this issue still persists pointing to the fault lying within the app itself.

While this is by no means affects the overall functionality of the sensors as far as I can tell, it is incredibly frustrating not to mention annoying to get constant notifications. Disabling them would defeat the purpose of having them in the first place.

### 1/5 — en Français ?

*2024-10-17, version 2.5.71*

*2024-10-07, version 2.5.71*

Leider funktioniert die Kontrolle nicht mehr zuverlässig. Erst 91%, dann plötzlich 94%, dann leer. Damit kann man nicht arbeiten. Also wieder klassisch die Gasflasche wiegen. Schade, App gelöscht, Gassensor entsorgt.

### 3/5 — iOS18

*2024-09-25, version 2.5.71*

Doesn’t seem to be working well with iOS18.

### 1/5 — Won’t work after new batteries

*2024-07-31, version 2.5.71*

The sensors worked fine until I installed new batteries. After the installation the sensors will not reconnect with my iPhone 15

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Out of date!! App needs revamp and update

*2026-06-10, version 2.5.71*

I’ve purchased 4 of these because of either failure or the battery is dead. The technology needs to match the expensive price.

### 1/5 — Mopeka

*2026-05-03, version 2.5.71*

N’a jamais bien fonctionné

### 1/5 — No 15lb tank option

*2026-02-18, version 2.5.71*

This doesn’t make any sense. Most folks have 15lb tanks and the smallest selection on the app is 20lbs. They have an arbitrary option to input the height of your tank in to circumvent that issue, however, IT DOESN’T WORK. When I put in my Blue Rihno 28” tank that was just filled, it showed it at 57% full no matter how many times I reservoir zero’d it. Then when I selected back to 20lbs it showed 100% capacity. So what’s accurate? This is terribly advertised and horribly implemented for something that cost this much money.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2026-01-23, version 2.5.71*

Tank sensor
What a piece of junk! Replace battery and they won’t since back up! The app will keep running! App will drain your battery!

### 1/5 — Kills phone battery

*2025-11-24, version 2.5.71*

Please enable a way to conserve battery life and increase tank level check time to 1 time per day. A maximum length of 30 second intervals is ridiculous, too short of an interval, and a waste of resources.
In the last 10 days, your app has consumed 9% battery usage. That’s a complete waste.

### 1/5 — Braucht kein Mensch , weil es nicht funktioniert

*2025-11-10, version 2.5.71*

### 1/5 — Junk

*2025-06-28, version 2.5.71*

After having this item work for the last five years on my RV this year in 2025 they decided to disable it all and I have two sensors now neither sensor with new batteries will work in the app. It just tells me to go to their website and purchase new sensors screw that

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works great

*2024-01-29, version 2.5.71*

Works very well, I have 30lbs tanks in my toy hauler with 20lbs tanks when the 30’s run dry. Been using for more than a year and had to replace one battery in one sensor. I check once a week instead of letting the app run in the background. It will drain your battery on your cell. I also purchased the button gauge for dual tanks.
Would recommend this for RV living.

### 5/5 — 95% there

*2024-01-24, version 2.5.71*

Excellent product and marginal app. The app would be excellent, if it had a trend of the level versus date

### 5/5 — Nutze es für die Gasflasche

*2024-01-03, version 2.5.71*

Super tolles Teil macht was es soll bin sehr zufrieden

### 5/5 — Klasse Teil

*2023-11-19, version 2.5.71*

Funktioniert einwandfrei 👍🏻

### 5/5 — Gute Alternative

*2023-04-21, version 2.5.50*

### 5/5 — Every man needs this

*2022-02-20, version 2.5.50*

So far so good. This is exactly what my life was missing and I guarantee everyone with propane tanks will appreciate this as a gift. If I can suggest anything it would be to develop an app for the Apple Watch.

### 5/5 — Reliably works for me

*2022-01-10, version 2.5.50*

This makes things to much easier. In more than a year now it seems to be accurate and never let us done. We use the rubber spacer for the foot of the 30lbs bottles and also have it integrated with RV whisper.
Definitely made our life quite a bit easier and so far was always on point.

### 5/5 — Keeps getting better

*2021-12-01, version 2.5.44*

I’ve used these sensors for almost two years and had some issues, but they were usually fixed quickly. I use dialectic grease, from the auto parts store, on the sensors with two 30lb tanks and they work great.

### 5/5 — Works great!

*2021-11-18, version 2.5.44*

I have two sensors on my two 20 lb tanks on my travel trailer. I followed the simple instructions and they work great. I know how low they are at any time just by checking my app or when I receive a notification on my iPhone.

### 5/5 — Just follow the instructions

*2021-05-23, version 2.5.20*

Works a treat on our Gaslow system. I have a twin bottle setup and at the moment only one sensor.

I will be buying a second for the other bottle. It works as I expected. You just have to follow the instructions
