### 3/5 — Good - could be better

*2026-06-27, version 1.1.4*

One of the key value props is being able to time box tasks onto the calendar, but this feature is missing from iOS and both are still segmented. Really takes away a killer feature of the desktop version

### 2/5 — good app, terrible price

*2026-03-22, version 1.1.3*

Good app, outrageous price. No one wants to pay $30 USD per month or $180 USD per year for a calendar app- it’s not life changing enough to justify price-gouging your customers. It won’t even let you use the app without subscribing once your free trial is over- there isn’t a “free option”. There are also some bugs and issues with the app.

### 4/5 — Add Obsidian Colored Tags from Obsidian Tasks

*2026-03-16, version 1.1.3*

A big marketing reason to use Morgen is its integration with Obsidian, which many other calendars do not have.

I wish Morgen would be able to somehow allow for color specification via tags or etc to carry over from Obsidian when the task is created there. Currently, if you create any tasks in Obsidian then Morgen will sync it all as the same color. Even if you specify a tag in Obsidian which exists in your Morgen, it won’t match the color.

TLDR let us set colors/tags from obsidian

### 2/5 — Paywall after the first free week

*2026-03-11, version 1.1.3*

During my free trial the app was quite fine, I would say make creating an event and a time block a setting instead of creating them in two different ways when they basically say the same thing. Also, limiting what you can do on mobile devices compared to the computer version is weird to me, because sometimes things come up on the go, and it would be better for me to schedule when something comes up right away instead of having to go home, boot up my laptop, and then access it there that I cannot access on my ipad or phone. I gave this two stars, because after my free trail, I basically could not use any part of the app at all on my devices without having to pay for the subscription. Why would you list this as a free app when you can’t do anything without paying for a subscription? That’s all.

### 4/5 — great but a few issues

*2026-02-08, version 1.1.3*

- app doesn’t sync properly I always have to manually sync
- sometimes when adding a task it says error check connection when my connection is fine
- no autoscheduling for tasks on this app while the website has auto scheduling with frames

### 4/5 — Great but trouble syncing

*2026-01-18, version 1.1.1*

I love this software for blocking out tasks in a day and it works beautifully with Notion. However, it sometimes struggles to match calendars, especially shared calendar, between devices. Otherwise great.

### 3/5 — With potential - but over priced and lack of features

*2025-10-29, version 1.0.60*

The app itself is good but not fully functional considering the price tag. And if you want obsidian tasks - it will cost you $30 dollars a month - which is way over-priced for the current limited features this app (esp the iOS version) offers… I think -$10-12 is a more reasonable price given what it has right now..

### 2/5 — iOS app is lacking

*2025-09-03, version 1.0.58*

There’s ways to make this calendar way more productive for mobile but I have not seen too much active development in the last year since purchasing Morgan.

### 4/5 — Great app so far!

*2025-05-20, version 1.0.54*

I will have to say the best thing this company does is make their approach user centric! They always acknowledge that everyone has different styles, unique approaches and motivations when utilizing this application. I can’t wait to see what other things get implemented in the near future. I am just now starting the journey with the AI Planner and will say integrations for iOS Reminders will make a world of a difference. Right now it is in Beta and only available to MacOS so I’ve had to make several iOS Shortcuts & have been working with Todoist as well which has made the process so so smooth. So thank you for working towards more integrations and giving us the helpful tools and templates to create better calendars for our productivity! I’ll hopefully remember to write an updated review once I have utilized this application for over a year. Right now the price, the processes and the honeslty, cool application has me working towards a better, more structured lifestyle and hopefully the AI integration gets even better - I rely on this every day as I am recently diagnosed with ADHD in my mid-30s and have been struggling a lot to find a structure & system that actually works. *4 stars for now as themes are minor, integrations are beta etc and AI Planner could use some oomf/working on iOS mobile application instead of just Desktop.
👏📝

### 4/5 — Solid App, Solid Engineering. Just Needs Tweaks

*2025-05-14, version 1.0.54*

I’ve used Morgen on and off for a few years. Out of all similar apps. I love that it has iCloud integration. The mobile app is not clunky. The app overall just works. Just a lot of solid things about it compared to Akiflow, Routine, etc. I also think this is the only one where the product and engineering team have some sense of mind. They try their best and don’t release features that are half-baked. It seems very intentional and they don’t try and haunt you with AI you never asked for. My small issue: The Todoist integration could use some work. It works as intended but some more 2-way communication wouldn’t hurt. My big issue: Push notifications for event invites are non-existent. Updates in app when you check work. Actual push notifications, no dice on mobile or desktop. All of the calendar wrappers seem to have this issue though. If Morgen can solve this issue I don’t think I’ll switch ever again. SOC2 Certification wouldn’t hurt either.

### 4/5 — Amazing app with a few ux improvements needed

*2025-01-26, version 1.0.43*

Overall Morgen has been a game changer for my scheduling and task management. I mostly use the desktop app which is amazing.

The mobile app is great however when scrolling the calendar there are too many accidental taps that launch the event creator dialog. Makes the experience of just reviewing my calendar a little frustrating.

### 3/5 — I need to use it more

*2024-12-31, version 1.0.43*

I have “testing” Morgen for the last year but have not got around to using it fully. I think the mobile apps lags a bit in terms of natural language input and snappiness (speed of action) compared to say Vimcal.

### 4/5 — Helps me so much!

*2024-12-10, version 1.0.43*

I have tried many calendars and chose Morgen because I found it to be the most user friendly and made sense to my brain.

I love the desktop version and how I can integrate my Notion tasks and then drag and drop them to my schedule. (I would LOVE to be able to do this from the phone and tablet app!!).

I also love that I can integrate multiple calendars, change the colors, create recurring events and estimate how long a task will be when creating it.

The app is always being improved andI would give 5 ⭐️ when I can drag tasks from the mobile apps to the calendar like I can with the desktop app!

### 3/5 — iPad App needs to be more like the desktop app

*2024-09-24, version 1.0.36*

Love Morgen desktop, but iPad version just doesn’t take advantage of the large screen and is a bit buggy in terms of syncing.

### 3/5 — Amazing Service and Desktop App; Meh iPad and iOS experience

*2024-08-09, version 1.0.32*

As a service, the ability to integrate with a bunch of different task managers and calendars and then time block is great. The windows app is amazing. I'm assuming the Mac app is pretty good too. The iPad and iOS apps are a little lackluster--the UI is just a bit clunky and hard to use. Especially on an iPad which can accommodate a near-desktop class app experience especially with a mouse and keyboard attached.

### 2/5 — Lots of limitations

*2024-07-07, version 1.0.32*

Doesn’t sync well. Can’t do much compared to desktop version.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2026-06-21, version 1.1.4*

It will not sync IOS reminders unless you have a Mac. I have a real computer (Windows). It does not work on Windows. Skip this.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-01-23, version 1.1.1*

Nothing more than a basic calendar app, no different to the built in calendar and reminders on iOS. Does not include the most useful feature from the main web app which is the AI scheduler.

The web version has more features but the iOS app lacks almost all of the features from the main version.

### 1/5 — Long set up time

*2024-08-31, version 1.0.36*

I just want a simple calendar app for l school but I’m required to set up on a desktop. When doing so, I am forced to link a past calendar (i don’t have one) so I am unable to set up an account.

### 1/5 — Garbage app

*2024-07-23, version 1.0.32*

I regret having payed for morgen. One of the reasons I subscribed was the mobile app. But unfortunately it turns out the app is really bad. It does not sync in background so it takes ages to sync every single time you open it. Also it doesn’t know what day it is. It keeps the day from the last time you opened it… the worst thing is: I’ve written to the developers a few times asking for improvements and the only thing they do is ask if I can send screenshots or to explain better. Absolute waste of time…

### 1/5 — Can’t use as a stand-alone iOS App-Must have desktop Morgen account

*2024-05-07, version 1.0.19*

I read the reviews of this app, and they sounded somewhat promising, so I downloaded it directly to my iPhone to try it out. You can’t even begin to use the Calendar app on an iOS device unless you first download & register a desktop version, as well as create an account with Morgen to do so. That’s absolutely ridiculous.

I already use Outlook on my PC & the description in the App Store for Morgan says that it’s compatible with most other desktop calendar programs. If that’s true, then why would I want to clutter my computer with ANOTHER separate calendar program just to synchronize with my iPhone?

App deleted.

I’ll stick with WeekCal. It’s looks similar to Morgen, but you don’t have to load a desktop app on your computer to use it.

### 1/5 — Does not work on Laptop or Desktops

*2024-02-27, version 1.0.16*

I was very happy with Morgen until recently when their software stopped working on Laptops or Desktops, the two devices I primarily use for managing my diary and calendar. What this means is if I try adding a meeting on my Desktop it no longer syncs to my Laptop or mobile.

I have been in touch with customer support who were initially helpful, however it has now been ten days with no reply despite multiples attempts to reach out. I find this service incredibly poor and without the ability to use this on all my devices it is useless to me.

If you are only going to use mobile then this is still a strong calendar option, however I cannot give a higher review whilst they sell it as a cross platform solution and it doesn’t behave as one - I have requested a refund personally however even to that I’ve not had a response.

Do not expect support if something goes wrong.

### 1/5 — Waste of money.

*2024-01-15, version 1.0.7*

I really feel ripped off. The app is out of sync with the desktop version. I paid for the premium version to keep my calendars in sync and access the option to book calls from a link.

My surprise is that in addition to the iOS and desktop app not staying in sync, neither app gives me a single reminder or notification of my events.

I missed several important meetings and events because this app is not able to run a single notification even though I have them enabled on both the iPhone and MacBook.

I will not be renewing my subscription and am already looking for a replacement for this disaster. Worst money spent on an app in several years.

### 1/5 — Does not sync to Desktop App

*2023-12-28, version 1.0.7*

Can’t sync to the desktop version nor can I create events within the app

### 1/5 — App not working

*2023-12-06, version 1.0.7*

The app stopped syncing my tasks from my computer desktop. I am unsure why my phone isn’t working anymore.

### 2/5 — Desktop app good, iOs very limited.

*2026-05-11, version 1.1.3*

Have been trying out Morgen and quite impressed with the desktop app. However the iOs app is v frustrating because while Morgen relies on integration with Apple Reminders for Siri support, it’s not possible to see a list of linked reminders, edit them, change their duration, or (worst of all) to mark them as done.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2025-09-27, version 1.0.60*

If you have tasks that you need to carve out time for on your calendar, this is the perfect solution. Excellent support and product feedback loop too.

### 5/5 — My sanity saver.

*2025-07-23, version 1.0.58*

I have ADHD and many calendars, which isn’t a great combo. Morgen has cut down SO much time spent coordinating between random calendars and hoping I don’t miss something. I swear by it and recommend it to everyone.

### 5/5 — Finally an app that does calendar integration well

*2025-02-21, version 1.0.50*

Love it

### 5/5 — I like, but fatigued with these costs

*2025-01-28, version 1.0.43*

I like the app, but with Todoist there are duplicated functions and the rest is a little much. The simplicity is more appealing these days with pkm and GTD app exhaustion. Everyone has an app and they are all starting to do the same thing.

Lower the cost and you'll get mine and hundreds of buyers confidence to make the purchase.

### 5/5 — Well designed and useful

*2025-01-23, version 1.0.43*

Very unique AI implementation, and the Frames organization is a great idea. I’d love to see natural language input on the iOS and iPadOS apps!

### 5/5 — Swiss army knife

*2024-11-07, version 1.0.37*

It’s unbelievable to have all your productivity apps connected and ready to use in on place. Also the reminders and ready link to join meeting before they begin is pretty handy.

### 5/5 — The benefits of team project managers but for personal use

*2024-10-22, version 1.0.37*

Good syncing across all task management platforms. Simple, does its job, manages tasks and time blocks across devices.

### 5/5 — Top application

*2024-10-06, version 1.0.36*

This calendar app is fantastic. Its integration with Notion and iCal supports my workflow 👍

### 5/5 — AMAZING!

*2024-09-18, version 1.0.36*

My life has never been more organized! Having morgen has helped me get a visual every morning of my upcoming general life and even any details that I have added, so I can be confident that I’m not missing anything important. It syncs up to all of my other calendars, for work and Gmail and can even connect to my Alexa so I can get a daily overview without opening any devices on my device free days. There’s an app that syncs to my MacBook, iPhone and iPad so I can open it on any of my devices. Totally 5 star in my experience!

### 5/5 — 💕💕💕💕

*2024-06-05, version 1.0.28*

Best app for visual people looking to manage time in a very productive and easy way. Visually plan when to do a task or event. There’s an ongoing list of stuff to do, then schedule those to-dos when you’re ready. If you can’t get to them, just pop it back in the to-do list or move it around in your week.
Oh and when you complete a “task” you get to check it off(!!!) in the calendar view, which also archives it off the to-do list. No more having to manually delete or edit stuff.
Took me three days, and downloading 6 calendar apps (with free trials), to find Morgan.. but definitely glad I kept looking.

Btw: please watch the YouTube review video about Morgan!! The guy has been using Morgan for a year and has so much helpful input. I’ve been using it for a week and have become extremely productive(!)
