Ich würde mir in der App einen Punkt für "Verbesserungsvorschläge" wünschen, sowie das Garagenlicht gesondert anwählbar unabhängig davon wie das fahrlicht geschaltet ist und dort denn auch die Dauer einzustellen ist. ### 2/5 — Unreliable *2023-12-02, version 4.0.7* The bluetooth connection is unreliable, when it works its great, but around 50% of the time it wont connect and i have to use an override key. Glad I installed that or i would have been stranded many times. For this reason i prefer my old m-unit, regret upgrading to the m-unit bluetooth. ### 4/5 — Unglückliche Umsetzung einer ABO-Lösung *2023-06-07, version 4.0.3* 3 dieser Einheiten und etliche anderer Komponenten von motogadget verwende ich in meinen Fahrzeugen, mein Bruder sogar noch mehr, alles funktioniert technisch einwandfrei und problemlos, mit einem Update der App zur mo.unit blue plötzlich eine Abo-Lösung für power-user mit mehr als 100 Fahrten pro Jahr einzubauen und die Funktionen nur noch gegen Zahlung einer Abo-Gebühr anzuzeigen ohne vorherige Vorwarnung ist meiner Meinung nach unglücklich umgesetzt. Die Kosten für die Unterhaltung einer solchen App sind hoch, das weiß ich aus eigener Erfahrung, aber das muss bei den Produktkosten einkalkuliert werden und diese sind durch die sehr hohe Qualität der Produkte auch zu rechtfertigen. Auf der Homepage steht immer noch „kostenlose App“ und auf mo.ride steht „kostenlose Nutzung“ und „kostenlose Anzeige von Tourdaten“ etc. Jederzeit nutzbar sind die Daten leider nicht, nur nach vorheriger Verbindung mit der mo.unit. Technisch gesehen sind alle motogadget-Produkte mehr als 5 Punkte wert, auch die App ist sehr gut gemacht und arbeitet einwandfrei, aber aufgrund der Einschränkungen beim Zugang zu den Daten gibt es von mir aber leider einen kleinen Abzug. Es gibt nur eins was mich stört. Das die Anzeige (Status) nur in Querformat funktioniert. Deswegen müsste ich extra meine Halterung drehen. Aber dann passen andere Apps nichts mehr. It’s definitely the app and not my phone. I regret buying the subscription last year. The devs seem to have given up and I hope to find a replacement app soon. ————— In a recent update, the GPS and Speedometer would only work if I rotate my phone two times after selecting my vehicle Since the last update, even that won’t get those widgets to work. Also the record button does nothing. I click it and then it fades out I already reinstalled the app several times, including clearing my data and preferences. I’ve removed and re-added app permissions multiple times. Neither of which should affect recording either. I have ample storage space remaining on my phone For reference it’s an iPhone 11 Disappointed, I would have rated it 5 stars up until it stopped working. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore *2023-08-27, version 4.0.5* Stopped working summer of 2023. The GPS and mileage don’t work. I contacted support and their answer was basically that they can’t keep up with Apple OS updates. Sounds like someone has given up. If the issue gets resolved I would otherwise give it 5 stars like others have mentioned. ### 1/5 — Just another dead app *2023-07-21* Great idea, garbage follow through. None of the triumph bikes have been updated since 2018 and most of the time I try to use it, the start tour button does absolutely nothing except turn grey, and then immediately return to green, like I never even touched it. Good thing, it was free, although I wouldn’t even have paid that for it if I knew how useless it was. Maybe it’s better if you’re actually building a bike with the mo unit stuff, but as far as a standalone tour logging app, there are much better out there. ### 1/5 — Gebühr nach Aktualisierung fällig, Hinweise dazu fehlen. *2023-06-20, version 4.0.3* nach dem Update stehen plötzlich diverse Ansichten wie Fahrten, Media usw. nicht mehr zur Verfügung. Kein vorheriger Hinweis darauf, dass nun ein Abo für 9,99€/Jahr fällig ist! Ich nutze die App und die Hardware seit Jahren und fühle mich nun betrogen! Ich zeichne auch keine 100 Touren pro Jahr auf, wie vom Support erklärt, denn die Gebühr soll nur für „Power-User“ erhoben werden, ich gehöre nicht dazu. Im Übrigen zeichnet die App bei mir die Routen auch nur nach Lust und Laune auf. ### 1/5 — App deleted data, locked me out, bike won’t start *2023-05-10, version 4.0.2* I tried to go for a ride yesterday and to my surprise nothing worked. The my unit turns on and there is power but none of my controls work. When I opened the app both my bikes were missing and it seemed all of my data and settings were wiped completely. This device is awesome when it works but if you units breaks down like mine did you are totally screwed. They also tried to trick me into not leaving a bad review. When asked how my experience was I said poor and it wouldn’t let me leave a review but as soon as I selected that I am satisfied it allowed me to leave this review. I reached out to support and they told me to log out and now I’m locked out of my account. To be honest you don’t need this device and you can achieve all of its functionality for much cheaper. If you’re on the fence and not sure wether to buy or not, save your money and use a fuse box and other components from car alarms. I just finished rebuilding a cb550 and decided to rewire the bike using basic components and have the same features the m unit has aside from the Bluetooth start but I was able to add that with remote from a car alarm and now I can start my bike from my key fob which is MUCH better in my opinion and it only cost me less than a hundred dollars compared to the 600 for the m unit. Don’t buy this, it’s garbage. To the developer response, you must not have read or understood what I wrote. I did log out but I cannnot log back in. I am locked out of my account and changing my password doesn’t work either. I have no way getting back into the app to get this “amazing” support you speak of. I also sent in several emails and have yet to hear back but somehow you guys have time to respond to review because those are customer facing right? ### 1/5 — App is blocked forcing you to Premium *2023-04-09, version 4.0.1* App was working wonderfully and suddenly, everything is blocked (tour, logbook, everything) and is asking to buy Premium. Diese App rundet den Funktionsumfang der Mo-Unit Blue perfekt ab und funktioniert zuverlässig. Man kann mehrere Motorräder hinterlegen und deren Einstellungen verwalten. Außerdem besteht noch die Möglichkeit Wartungsintervalle und vieles mehr zu hinterlegen.
