The iOS app could use some stability improvements. The very long: I wish I could give this 5 stars. It’s a great game with amazing art direction, writing, and isn’t afraid to explore mature themes, given the Lovecraftian nature of the world. And everything you need to deep dive into the world is in the game itself. A whole library of terms, stories, and radio dramas can be easily viewed within the game. The gacha itself is pretty generous. To fully unlock a character’s potential might take a lot of duplicate draws but to get the characters themselves, you get plenty of resources to do so. I only wish the game didn’t crash on iOS like it had a DUI quota. On the plus side, the game is very proactive about saving where you are so a crash loses you no progress. But when I’m going back to the iPhone home screen literally once every chapter or 3 times in a long boss fight, it becomes a very frustrating experience. Using the fix button on the login screen also did not help the problem. This game gets hard and requires more thinking later on. Also it’s gorgeous. I also think you should be 18+ to play this though. I’ve played numerous gacha/card games and this has a classical feel to it with a dark storyline and background. They’re not afraid to tap into violent themes that align with the game’s narrative. The artstyle is lovely, all of the splasharts look like they could belong in a wallpaper. The gameplay is really fun. For a gacha game you get a lot of pull currency and the rates are surprisingly good!! I would highly recommend checking this game out if you are a fan of Reverse:1999 or Chaos Zero Nightmare already. Although coming from Limbus and Reverse1999 as well as path to nowhere, the gacha system threw me off. They do give you a lot of standard pulls, though most of the cooler characters at least in my opinion are in the other banners. I haven’t been able to pull any of the characters I want from the other banners and have already spent 20 bucks on the game. Removing two stars because of this. Thinking of deleting my account and starting over because of this. I wanted to be fair and not buy an account in this game, but honestly? Because the login screen only permits manual typing for official Qookka Accounts, I cannot even attempt to manually enter my Google credentials to bypass the glitch. I have restarted my device, reinstalled the app, and cleared my caches, but the game's authentication handshake remains entirely broken. One star until the login system is fixed. Like a few others, I haven't been able to log onto my account. I only use my iOS account to play. I've purchased some stuff from this game in the past, I'm definitely above the legal age— and yet, I still can't log in. I always get an error on the login screen despite no previous problems in the past. I've tried restarting my device, reinstalling the game. Still the same problem, every time. If one of the devs can reach out to me, I would love that. Or maybe I'll try reaching out myself in the discord. I'm in no immediate rush to play Morimens again, but I do enjoy the game whenever I come back from my gacha hiatuses. But this bug is rly disappointing to deal with, and to see other people going through the same issues makes me not want to play. Restarting a new account doesn't sound appealing to me either. It keeps saying I am under the age requirement no matter what login option I choose (I am 25) and everything I’ve seen for how to fix it requires going to settings, account, and contact support. There is no account or contact support option in settings. I imagine there is when you’re actually able to get INTO the game. I’ve tried restarting the game 15 times (yes, actually. I started counting after a few times of trying to get it) in an attempt to get in. I’d go as far to say it’s one of the best gacha games out there for gacha gamers who want something more than just run-of-the-mill waifu collectors. This game is hard as nails. It has countless grotesque, terrifying, Lovecraftian scenes. The number of people who beat the story’s hard mode is in the double digits. It will grind you up to dust and spit you out. Yet, I keep coming back to it like a drug. It’s a card battler that plays a lot like Slay the Spire. It has a steampunk aesthetic. So why is it so addictive? It’s simple- it’s a roguelite that you have endless variety with, with so many bosses and lovely gimmicks. When you have a boss standing over you with over a thousand health and an attack that can one-shot you, you only have one option- see what you can do to get out of this. Monthly pull income for f2p is around 100 limited pulls (3-5 characters average), not including Certain events that give you 250 free pulls. Someone said it was locked behind a paywall. Which the OTHER 250 pulls are, not this set of 250. I now have 5 functional teams after two months. I still have zero clue why someone said 500 bucks for an event?? 😭 I’m being so fr where in the Milky Way is this event?? Warning because this is where the game boils down to personal preference. EVERY. SINGLE. Character. is capable of being good. Someone is labeled B tier? That means the character is GREAT. But you must have a foggy idea of what kind of dps you want to build around. Banners are unpredictable because they tend to be gone for a few months, so you are limited to several dps upon starting, such as great standard characters or dps in reruns. You MUST use your brain. Chaos Zero Nightmare is easier. Here, I was already thinking on the tutorial. Auto battle is genuinely stupid- it just plays all of your cards in no order brainlessly. This is why I’ve stuck with the game though. Autoing stuff always kills my love for beautiful games. Great art, but no animations. Understandable since this game doesn’t have many funds. There is a single gooner character (and she has a gooner equipment card 😭) but it doesn’t distract from the atmosphere at all imo. Also more male characters than certain games… Problem is there’s a PvP/tcg thing. I despise PvP AND tcg so great combo there, I will be forever missing out on the 150 pulls. The story is genuinely good AND the gameplay is super fun. There isn’t a stamina system for the main story so you can play all you want (ended up pulling an all nighter by accident.) The combat for non-chaos awakeners can be a little confusing at first but once you get the hang of it, it’s addicting. Right now I’m loving ultra realm awakeners.
