They all work well, but it’d be nice to be able to choose my own colors over a set of predetermined ones. ### 2/5 — App needs a update *2026-02-06, version 1.4* For a company that sells expensive products i would have expected more from the app. It works but its buggy. please give this app some TLC ### 2/5 — The App is terrible *2024-04-25, version 1.4* I hate the app it doesn’t register anything you want it to do. The only thing that seems to work well is the spin wheel. Turning on or off your halos or rock lights it doesn’t respond. ### 3/5 — It’s alright *2023-10-24, version 1.4* I have the Prism Projector Demon Eye / Halo setup on my 370z and even when the car is off power still goes to the module therefore using my battery. When I hit the off button on the app it doesn’t do anything and the halos/demon eyes still stay on?! Is there a support number or something, also the app is alright definitely a better way needs to be made to change the colors and stuff. And instead of clicking name 1 or name 2 or name 3 to change it just have a section for each. Just a few examples, definitely could be a lot better other than that I love my headlights a lot of compliments. ### 3/5 — It stopped working *2023-09-06, version 1.4* The app worked well for the first four months. But now it won’t let me change the rgb on my headlights. It could just be that the app needs to be compatible with the latest iOS 16 firmware. So far it seems decent, the color picker as others have said isn’t really that great at times. Would also be nice to have a widget to add to my lock/home screen for a quick on/off button without opening the app. ### 3/5 — It could be better *2023-02-27, version 1.3* There’s a lot that can be professionally done with this app. I mean it’s good and all. But as far as color the color picker doesn’t tell the headlights what color to change to exactly. It’s does but there no red or specific color options. You can get red by almost turning the lights dimmer down all the way. And as far as modes go the new one doesn’t work. At least to me the description of the word didn’t match what the headlight was doing. It technically didn’t do anything. ### 4/5 — Excellent update.... Needs an update *2022-01-25, version 1.2* People are out here spending $1500-2000 on a set of custom RGB headlights, finally getting them installed, then they go to download the app and its clunky, basic, and hasnt been updated in 4 years. I mean its okay. It works, and has basic patterns and a color picker. But maybe some more patterns to spice it up? Or being able to strobe or fade while changing colors? Syncing with music? With the money involved with the product the app controls, you’d expect a more user friendly, elegant, and functional app. Just an update is all we ask for ### 2/5 — Please update *2021-09-05, version 1.2* Can you make it so the app is to size of the newer iPhones and add like custom theme selection. But half of the time i am having issues syncing and sometimes my lights are stuck being on and unless I restart my phone I am unable to sync to turn them off. The signal is always poor, 1 bar at best even when I’m 2 feet away. This has potential but needs some of the issues i mentioned to be addressed... for the cost of the product, I’m pretty unhappy overall. ### 2/5 — Can’t Bluetooth *2020-11-03, version 1.2* Would give it five stars but now it’s not connecting to my controller at all. I think the app needs and update so I can do my own custom stuff also. The polarity is off on the app. When I select a color on the wheel, it shows the opposite color on the color wheel. Also, when I hit the odd button, all the lights turn white. No one at Morimoto had a solution or thought. I tried several controllers, different devices and different lights. It seems as though it’s an app problem. I paid over $200 for the Morimoto Controller just to be disappointed with an app that I’d not responsive, optimized or built well at all. Controlling from the phone is good, but adding CarPlay will have them ahead of the competitors. Overall loving the app, and all of Morimoto’s line of products. Please bring CarPlay soon!! ### 5/5 — functional app… sync feature wld be improvement *2022-07-16, version 1.2* i love the lights from hidretrofit, which this app controls nicely. seems a couple improvements would make better 1. sync settings and timing between xbt pairs so that headlight fades and strobes would match… at least i have not figured that bit out. 2. naming of xbt controllers… hard to remember which paired controller is which…. so for us with many sets of vehicles/lights 3. naming of favorites note — i have not experienced either low signal or dropped controls link as described by other reviewers; however i cld see such issues being fairly annoying. overall, highly recommend the app along with the xbt controllers. ******* a new app refresh would be desirable 4 years since last update ******* ### 5/5 — App doesn’t work on apples newest update *2020-11-10, version 1.2* I try to open up the app to change color of my halos on my car but it doesn’t open, it keeps on closing out so I can’t do anything ### 5/5 — Works great *2020-03-10, version 1.2* If you have everything wired up correctly and your connections are strong, this app works perfectly.
