I have iOS 15.2 on iphone SE ### 2/5 — Want over 10WPM? Too bad. *2021-08-02, version 9.2.8* The app itself works fine, it gives you multiple ways to insert text (tapping, two different Morse keyboards, and English keyboard) but it’s very slow. If you want to tap at over 10WPM, then you either have to pay money or watch a bunch of ads to “earn” it. How many ads you ask? One 30 second ad gives you 0.050/15 needed to unlock 60WPM. Ridiculous. What’s worse is that this is one of the few apps I’ve found that lets you actually tap out the Morse code and have it save as text. Most other apps are just the keyboard, or the tap but no saved text (just the sound). A great app ruined cause of a cash grab. ### 3/5 — Not for learning *2017-04-11, version 9.2.6* This app might be good for practice if you already know the characters, but it doesn't do a good job of teaching them. ### 4/5 — Very, very good app—w/1 bug *2015-12-01, version 7.0* This is the best app I've found to learn how to type—AFTER you've just learned the alphabet. 1 bug: sound stops playing after pushing the back button 3 improvements: 1.move the settings arrow somewhere else, b/c the iPhone notifications pull-down box is in the same spot; 2.have a test button under the pitch setting, b/c it's a pain to go back and forth in order to see if the new sound is pleasant to ones ears; 3.create small tutorial/explanation, especially for the arrows on the side that change input ### 3/5 — Icon and Interface *2015-06-03, version 5.0* Morse Code in icon is "duru" whatever that means. If I tapped 20 letters, they would all show up wrong. I used letters I know but the app can’t decipher at any speed. I wondered if it was too fast and looked at the upgrade options for 60 wpm… the “earn” option is just insulting, at well below minimum wage to watch the same few ads over and over. But the real kicker is, after closing the app, my entire phone was unresponsive and I had to hard reset it. I don’t know if this app is trying to make me mine Bitcoin or what, but after rebooting, it was an insta-delete. DO NOT BUY THIS APP!! ### 1/5 — Garbage! *2015-11-15, version 7.0* Program freezes and crashes. When listening it just puts dots on the screen and doesn't really hear anything. ### 1/5 — Problem *2015-10-13, version 6.5* The free version worked fine for me for several months so today I purchased the 60 wpm upgrade. The upgrade has been a disaster, the sound went crazy when I tried to send code and now does not work. Many of the functions just throw you out of the App altogether! Worse yet the App Support link is bogus ! No such website. I really enjoy using it using this app and I highly recommend it to morse code users.
