### 3/5 — Lacking

*2024-10-21*

It needs the ability to select individual letters to concentrate on.

### 2/5 — Audio stopped workinf

*2023-09-15*

After ios update no audio. Audio never worked over wireless head pmphones

### 4/5 — Excellent

*2023-04-03*

Easy to learn, except it eould be nice to have numbers added

### 4/5 — Very good

*2023-03-21*

Very good for beginners, me and my friend are doing this and it is very fun. Except it doesn't teach you how to put word and sentences together.

### 4/5 — Good but found minor bug

*2023-01-29*

Edit: Lost a star as developer hasn’t responded about (or fixed) this bug, which is easy to fix.

I’m happy with this app and using it has allowed me to learn morse code quite quickly. However, I have found a small bug. Even with hours of use it has never randomly tested me with Z. This is likely just a rounding/indexing bug so it never choses the last letter. No doubt very easy to fix, but simple boundary testing would have highlighted it immediately. Great app though, I just wanted to feedback this to the developer.

### 4/5 — Great, but where’s Z?

*2022-05-25*

I learned to “write” Morse code in about an hour. Requires another download to “read”Morse code. After learning the letter Z, it does not appear in the practice sessions.

### 3/5 — Pretty good, but…..

*2021-12-23*

After 4 or 5 hours of use, I’ve got 25 letters committed to memory. The letter Z is nowhere to be found. Have never seen it in the app. No numbers or symbols either.

### 5/5 — Works great!

*2021-04-04*

You have to stick to the practice session on each letter until you get a high percentage of correct responses, then it moves on to the next letter in the alphabet. After that you start getting random letters without the correct code being displayed to see if you have learned how to tap the correct code key. If you tap the wrong code, it again shows the correct one. Simple and easy!
I'm learning fast with this and I've tried to learn morse code for years.

### 5/5 — Does go past A!

*2021-01-15*

My kids (6 and 9 years old) decided they wanted to learn Morse Code, so we all downloaded this app on our various devices and are having fun learning together! Very user friendly and simple app to use, does what it sets out to do. And for those who think you can’t go past A, keep trying! It makes you repeat it 10 or so times before switching to the next letter. Repetition can be useful for learning.

### 5/5 — Surprisingly good

*2020-09-08*

I am addicted to this trainer you made and I play it all the time! It’s simple, easy to use, and little to no effort needed to get going. Some suggestions might be to add a home screen, some extra settings like how fast it reads your typing (wpm), and lastly, the sound doesn’t show up on my device, not sure if it’s the app or my device. It is 5 yrs old. Keep it up

### 4/5 — Works but tone sound lags

*2020-04-04*

It’s Ok but when using touch to tap out the letters, there’s some lag between touching the screen and the tone sound playing. Eg holding the screen to get a dah you dont hear the dah until you let go. The tone should play WHEN I’m touching the screen not when I lift off. It’s so difficult to get the natural rhythmic sound of letters tapped out and they just sound horrible. Why not just make it so when the screen is touched, a tone is generated? Why have this delayed, predefined length tone that plays AFTER you lift your finger off the screen?

Also to those saying it only does the letter A... You need to get an attention span. It does the letter A several times in a row and then does the letter B etc. Then it mixes the letters you’ve just learned and it randomises them to test you.

### 5/5 — Great little app for learning!

*2019-10-16*

The first thing I want to say is directed at those reviewers who claimed that the app only shows you 'A' and that's it. You simply didn't give it enough of a chance. It gets you typing the same letter over and over so you become more comfortable with doing it - that's how the training works.

To everyone else: in less than 60 minutes I've gone from knowing nothing to being pretty confident knowing every single letter. It teaches you in groups of 3 - getting you to repeat those letters over and over. After you get past those, it moves on to the next 3 while throwing back to previous letters you've learnt.

Great app and well worth a bit of your time.

### 4/5 — Too loud

*2019-08-13*

The tone is too loud and you are not able to adjust it...

And btw you can go pass A! Each letter needs to be practiced for a couple times before it goes to the next one.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I don’t know

*2026-08-12*

I hate this app Just kidding. I love it. Love love. It’s so so much.

### 1/5 — How???

*2024-08-02*

How can anyone give this more than one star is beyond my understanding.
It has two!!! Buttons: one for dot and one for dash. It doesn’t matter how long you press the dot its always a dot. SOUND is played after the release of the button!!! And it doesn’t reflect how long it was pressed for. It’s beyond useless, it’s actually worse than not having any help at all

### 1/5 — Garbage.

*2022-11-29*

There is a delay when keying that mucks up the sound and causes you to fail the lessons. The app is useless because of this. The fact they released this as it is, I would never buy from this developer.

### 1/5 — Ineffective way to learn

*2022-11-17*

This app goes through the letters alphabetically and you key in each letter multiple times before moving to the next.
This is really a poor way to learn and does little for listening comprehension.
Perhaps it gets better later, but I’m not wasting my time to find out.
For comparison, look at the letter sequence and methodology in the MorseMania app. I tried this one because it was free and other apps make you pay for advanced features, but seeing this I probably will pay.
If you’re at all serious about learning Morse code, skip this app.

### 1/5 — No sound

*2022-10-24*

Sound doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Soni

*2020-11-11*

Your apps used to be wonderful I would type the Morse code and the English version will show on the blank white screen.
What a terrible update, I wrote to you before and not a word from your company.
So sorry your update is so bad and I paid for the second app.
Sonia Pita

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2019-08-22*

The app opens with a and it doesn’t show u anything

### 1/5 — Trainer? Nope.

*2019-05-29*

A - C is all you get. It’s just an ad for their paid app. Shareware but without the functionality.

### 1/5 — Fix the buttons

*2018-12-18*

I gave it one star because the buttons don’t register until you lift your finger, opposite what a Morse code Keyer does. Go into interface builder and change the uievent for the buttons from touch up inside to touch down then update the app and I’ll give it 5 stars.

### 1/5 — Only one letter

*2018-10-15*

Sucks

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Yay!

*2025-02-19*

The app is great. It makes Morse code easy. In fact, I and 13 of my cousins now only text in Morse. Mission accomplished? Thank you!

### 5/5 — It helped me learn morse a lot faster

*2025-02-01*

I didn’t really like the maps youtube people used, so I focused on repetition. This is definitely the best app if you want to learn morse with any degree of quickness

### 5/5 — Morse Code Keys -Trainer Works. It honestly does.

*2025-01-04*

Five days ago I came across this app, up until that moment my entire Morse Code expertise began and ended with the SOS pattern.
In five days of diligent practice I am now able to fluently code the entire alphabet. I must now learn symbols and punctuation.
Look, all I am saying is this app is for real, you can honestly learn to code in a surprisingly short time. I know everyone says this….but…”if I did it, you can as well.”

thank you so much to help me master a new skill，repeat and repeat again，i remembered 26 letters and 10 numbers～

### 5/5 — like this app

*2023-12-07*

if you guys could remove ads for a price, but not annual or monthly but one time fee, i would buy

### 5/5 — Recommended

*2023-06-19*

It helped me learn Morse code easily. Very recommended.

### 5/5 — Wonderful!

### 5/5 — 6

*2022-02-09*

I LOVE THIS DEV 6 STARS

### 5/5 — Morse Code in 2hrs or Less!

*2022-01-18*

Maybe this doesn’t have all the numbers and symbols you can do in morse code but this program taught me morse code (the FULL alphabet from A-Z) in 1-2hrs.

I now know it backwards and forwards and it lets you practice infinitely with the letters once you’ve gone through the simple program.

I wish there were different options than just randomly going through the letters at the end (like being able to switch and go through it all alphabetically) but I can self-check so that’s not really a huge concern.

This program was exactly what I needed! Thank you so much!

### 5/5 — 挺好的

*2021-08-24*

这个应用很好，可以学摩斯密码，很好用👍
