### 4/5 — Great tool for learning Morse

*2026-07-01, version 11.10.1*

It works, and it has everything you need to learn codes. I gave it a 4/5 because the interface is difficult (impossible) to understand. But all becomes clear if you start trying everything out.

### 4/5 — Morse-it iPhone app

*2026-07-01, version 11.10.1*

I still find it picks up a lot of ambient noise off the radio speaker and attempts to decode it. Otherwise, if I keep the volume low and the CW signal is strong, Morse-it will copy at 99%. It works well. 👍🏼👍🏼

### 4/5 — Méthode

*2026-06-03*

Très bonne appli, possibilité d’apprendre les signes sans compter les points et traits. uniquement en phonétique en laissant un espace entre chaque lettre. Par la suite, il suffit de rapprocher les lettres entre elles, c’est plus facile.

### 3/5 — Still needs subscription

*2026-04-21, version 11.9*

I am not saying app is bad, just that apps like this makes me feel deceived afterwards. Either make it free and make the in-app purchase visible upfront or sell a perpetual license for it.

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-03-30, version 11.9*

Fantastic training tool, especially when paired with the TinyMIDI paddle from N6ARA. The subscription to access the good stuff is negligibly priced and worth every penny.

### 5/5 — Awesome learning app

*2026-03-25, version 11.9*

This app is a very helpful tool for learning morse code.

### 5/5 — Alanox

*2026-03-21, version 11.9*

Very good cw program. Great for improving cw speed.

### 3/5 — Could be better.

*2026-03-15, version 11.8.2*

1. Can you add vibrate toggle switch to be able to turn vibration on or off. 2. The decode option doesn’t work properly. There are either delays in the picking up the WPM or it’s deciding too fast leading it to displaying the wrong letter. A smart auto-correct option might be required to were it looks back at the word and autocorrects it for what it needs to be. The haptic feedback still doesn’t appear to be working even after it was turned on. Can this be fixed in the next update?

March 2026
Was the vibrate option ever added?

### 5/5 — 1 for me

*2026-03-14, version 11.8.2*

I’ve tried many Morse apps and I like this one the best

### 5/5 — Di di dit dah dah dah

*2026-03-13, version 11.8.2*

Great app! It is very useful to learn about Morse!

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-03-08, version 11.8.2*

I can now practice and learn anywhere at any time

### 5/5 — Excellent !!

*2026-02-18, version 11.8.2*

Morse it has many features that allow you to go from a basic level, to an intermediate level, and on to advanced high-speed (30wpm+) Morse code. Additionally, the app can listen to you sending code, and help you correct your errors in character spacing and character length. I highly recommend it. It’s a great study tool to go along with a structured course like what LICW has.

### 5/5 — Lots of functions

*2026-02-17, version 11.8.2*

Not only does it decode it also has a built-in oscillator which resembles a straight key so that you can practice your Morse code without having to have a bunch of other equipment around you. No key needed just a tap on the screen. It’s really neat. I’ve been a ham for 50 years. I’m always looking for new ways to teach Morse code. This is great.

### 5/5 — Good tool

*2026-02-15, version 11.8.2*

This is a great tool to both learn Morse Code and to keep one’s proficiency with it. I spent much of my life in electronic engineering, communications and data processing. I used the code often. Now retired, I find it a great help in remaining up on the code. There is always a chance of an emergency situation where it could come in handy. A little practice every day never hurts.

### 5/5 — Morse Tutor

*2026-02-13, version 11.8.2*

This is a great Morse tutor program, it includes everything you will need to learn morse code.

### 5/5 — Most amazing !!!! vital app it’s on limited to your creative ability

*2026-01-17, version 11.8.2*

Most amazing vital app it’s on limited to your creative ability

### 5/5 — Morse-It Is Great!

*2026-01-01, version 11.8.1*

This is a great way to learn CW, and I believe you will find it very useful. It’s worth your time.

### 5/5 — Pricing

*2025-12-30, version 11.8.1*

I was looking for an app to help learn cw. This had many great reviews for that. I figured for $0.99 I’d give it a try. However, once in the app it becomes clear that it’s actually $8.99 upgrade to do any training/learning. It may still be worth it for that - I’m not sure - I just wish the pricing was more transparent from the start.

### 5/5 — Top notch Morse code learning tool

*2025-12-27, version 11.8.1*

Morse it is a top notch Morse code learning tool. I have tried many, this is by far the best.

### 5/5 — Great Tool

*2025-12-15, version 11.8.1*

Best all around tool for learning Code!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Tap problem

*2025-03-13, version 11.6*

Version 11 Tapping produces dashes and dots on screen not letters. Nothing in FAQ to help.

### 1/5 — Be prepared to spend more…

*2025-02-11, version 11.6*

I decided to purchase after reading several reviews. Then I find that some of the features require additional purchases. Sorry I made the initial purchase.

### 1/5 — $11.99 to unlock features

*2024-09-09, version 11.3*

This requires an additional fee to enable most features

### 1/5 — Испортили

*2024-05-21*

Через столько лет решили сделать из приложения кормушку, добавили платные подписки назойливо предлагаемые из всех щелей и кучи ненужных опций, молодьцы 👍

**Developer response:**

### 1/5 — Decode not working

*2024-05-19, version 11.0.2*

The decode function is unusable. It adds dots at the start or end of the received letter. A (Dit Dah) is decoded as R (Di Dah Dit), an E is decoded as I, and so on. Sometimes the dot is added at the beginning of the letter. Most free apps have better decoders than this. Thumbs down from me.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2024-03-27, version 11.0.2*

Doesn’t work. Glad I only paid 99 cents.

### 1/5 — Tap problem

*2024-03-02, version 11.0.2*

Version 11
Tapping produces dashes and dots on screen not letters. Nothing in FAQ to help.

### 1/5 — Basic purchase includes nothing useful

*2024-02-17, version 10.2*

The app itself should be free if all its distinguishing features are behind subscription paywalls. I see no reason why basic listening practice should require a social club membership.

### 1/5 — Was Excellent 👎

*2024-01-21*

Was a Beautiful app. "Now their ripping people off with subscription fees, with the excuse of their providing new upgrades, that I don’t care about.” 😡 (( subscriptions are for magazines. )) - Some applications require regular updates because much of their content changes, monthly or at least bimonthly. I have a number of large and complex applications that are not only for phones but computers too, that almost never need updates. It’s because they were very well thought out, and written well to begin with. Eventually some of the apps offered some great extras if you wanted them, but they worked wonderful all by themselves. The one time expense of the extras varied according to their content or complexity. Some were very nice, and I did purchase them. (Subscription was never mentioned). What’s to prevent you from changing your other applications to subscriptions.
"I have kept your app as a novelty, and I know most people don’t even use morris anymore.” I won’t pay an unnecessary subscription for an unnecessary novelty application. It’s kinda like a fidget spinner, because it’s sort of fun to play with once in a while, and it’s educational. So don’t get me wrong, because it was great the way it was.

**Developer response:** Hello,
Subscriptions aren't just for magazines.
They are necessary for anything that requires continuous work, and for anything that involves regular charges (like web server hosting, for example).

Just take a look at the application's update history and you'll see that since 2009, the application has been regularly updated, not only for maintenance but also to add new features.
The fixed price you paid perhaps 10 years ago unfortunately hardly justifies the time required to maintain and improve the application anymore.

The features you're already using are still accessible: they don't require any subscription and are still improved and updated regularly.
So don't worry, everything you love is still there, and I'm still adding new basic (or learning) features (just like the start of support for the shortcuts application from the last update).
There's just one new subscription, with additional mainly social/online features that will hopefully help me maintain and improve this application for everyone.

### 1/5 — Misleading “features”

*2024-01-08, version 10.2*

I tried the free version of the app and was quite disappointed.

There was really nothing of value demonstrated in the free version that would encourage me to risk paying a monthly subscription.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Super useful!

*2026-08-21, version 11.10.1*

I think everyone should put this on their phones if only to use in an emergency. The ability to send a message by sound and flashing light at the same time after typing a message into the Encode area could save a life. Why not? Takes so little room. The rest of the app is useful, as well, but I think the Encode section is brilliant and easy. If you are reading this, download it now. And you don’t have to learn a thing to use it. Just type in a message and it will send it by sounds and flashes at the same time.
