## What is Morsel?

Bloated, low, or off and not sure which food did it? Morsel answers one question, on your own data: which foods make you feel bad?

No calories. No cloud AI. Nothing leaves your phone. While food apps add calorie counts and send your meals to an AI in the cloud, Morsel does the opposite: a calm, on-device mirror of your own food and feelings — and now you can ask it questions ("how's my gut been with coffee?") and get answers built only from your own logs, on your phone.

You log meals the lazy way — type "yogurt + coffee + toast", or snap a photo — and Morsel turns it into a quick, confirmable list. A 20-second check-in captures how your body felt: gut, energy, mood, skin, sleep. Soft 1-to-5 dials. No calories. No macros. No weight. No goal weight. No judgment.

Then Morsel stays quiet for about two weeks while it gathers signal. After that, it surfaces patterns built only from YOUR data — for example: "On your low-energy days, dairy appeared 2.4x more often than on your good days." An observation, never a verdict.

Morsel is the opposite of a calorie counter. The only numbers it ever shows are your own feeling-dials and the pattern multiplier. The same quick logging gesture, the opposite psychology — calm, private, and on your side.

Everything happens on your iPhone. No account. No sign-in. No cloud. Nothing you log ever leaves your phone — not your meals, not your check-ins, not your photo. Apple's on-device intelligence only helps read your free-text meal; the patterns are computed on your device, and you can check them against your own logs.

A note on what Morsel is: a personal mirror, not a medical device. It notices patterns in your own data. It does not diagnose food allergies, intolerances, or any condition. Talk to a clinician about symptoms.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4 — 2026-07-18

Clearer, honest pricing.

Prices on the upgrade screen now always show in your own currency and match exactly what you'll be charged — wherever you are. The 7-day free trial is offered where it's available, and never promised where it isn't. No surprises.

Everything still happens on your phone. No calories. No judgment.

### 1.3 — 2026-07-04

Your patterns, easier to reach.

Morsel now tells you the moment your first pattern is ready, shows what's waiting beyond it, and quietly notes when your trial is about to end — no badges, no pressure, just the facts. Ask your data, your body's map, and delayed-reaction windows shipped in 1.2; 1.3 makes them easier to find.

Everything still happens on your phone. No calories. No judgment.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-01

See deeper into your own patterns.

Morsel's quiet engine just got deeper — still on your phone, still no calories, still no judgment:

• Delayed reactions — patterns can now look a day or two out, not only same-day, so a slow trigger isn't missed.
• Health, folded in — with your permission, Morsel reads sleep and cycle days from Health to sharpen the patterns you already log. Optional, read-only, on-device.
• Your body's map — see which foods look quiet in your data, not just the ones that react. Reassurance, never a ranking.
• Confidence that grows — each pattern shows how settled it is, in plain words, as you keep logging.
• Ask your data — ask in your own words, like "how's my gut been with coffee?", and get an answer built only from your own logs. On device. An observation, never advice.

Nothing leaves your phone.

### 1.1 — 2026-06-25

A calm new look.

Morsel has a warmer, more tactile feel — an earthy palette and a typewriter-slab voice that make your meals and patterns read like a quiet field guide to your own body. Each pattern now sits on its own card you can almost pick up.

Same Morsel underneath: log the lazy way, do a 20-second check-in, and after a couple of weeks see which foods your body reacts to. No calories. No judgment. Everything stays on your phone.

### 1.0 — 2026-06-23
