### 4/5 — Отлично!!!

*2025-02-08*

### 3/5 — tell me how much pro costs

*2023-07-08*

Does not say how much pro costs.

### 4/5 — Pretty good, can the free trial have a tiny bit more?

*2022-06-13*

So far, I love it. The only thing to make it better would be to make each letter learning thing longer, not just like 5 times but more like 20 times. Same for putting it all together, and for putting it all together at times you’ll put every single thing you’ve learned together so far to the test at once. Another thing, make it so you can enable and disable the reminders for what the Morse is at the bottom. So it will only show once. And Make it for the letter learning there are bombs, so you can’t just spam the letter, instead you have to look and listen to make sure it’s not a bomb before typing in the Morse. Only things I could think of to make it better. However, I know you need to make money, but can you please also add a few letters to the free package? It could be like 1, 2 and 3 only, but even that would be nice. Not for the free course though, it would be neat if you basically gave us the Morse, whether it be a letter or number, said it was a certain number and we’d have to verify if it is, or giving us the Morse and asking us what it is. The opposite way of giving us something and expecting us to give you what it is. And using proper grammar would also be neat for a course. But yeah, 100% a good game and I’m thinking about the package, even though I don’t buy stuff in games this may be an exception. I’d love to see a game like this with American Sign Language or code!

### 4/5 — Good for beginners

*2022-05-11*

This is a pretty decent app. You do have to pay for most of the features. The only free part that I could find was sending letters. I personally think there are better apps out there. This app has very lose tolerances on how long a dash is. that would be good for a beginner that's just learning but if you at all serious I would recommend getting a different app.

### 4/5 — Great with a few improvements

*2021-03-25*

This is a good app, but could use a few improvements.

First remove the hint, don’t make an option to turn hint off, just remove it completely. Learning CW is all about hearing not at looking at dits and dahs. Second, when the letters are dropping and you’ve keyed in the letter, the letter keeps repeating its tone and as a result running out the time to enter the next letter. That makes learning a little harder. You only workaround is to pause the letters dropping and complete it that way. Third, when creating your own packages it would be nice to have the ability to create more than 20 words. I cannot even enter the alphabet because when you do that each letter is considered a word.

I’m Looking forward to any improvement in the future.

**Developer response:** Hello. Thank you for the great feedback. I can easily expand the how many words you can add in the custom packages. Will do that soon. I will look into the delay you mentioned. Again, thanks for the feedback and look forward to anything else.

### 4/5 — Great for learning from zero

*2020-09-22*

Could see myself exercising on this app from day to day to get more comfortable.

I would like to listen to podcasts during practicing and that’s not possible because there are no volume controls in the app. You can change the tone freq but it’s at 100% volume and always going to be painfully louder than other media

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2020-06-06*

Without paying a cent, I was able to learn all the letters in about three days of hard work. The free version is great and teaches in a smart way. I might even buy the extra courses now!

### 5/5 — Great

*2020-06-01, version 1.07*

I think this is a perfect app to practice morse code with!! Would definitely recommend if you are trying to get some . And - practice :)

### 5/5 — A great help...

*2020-05-27*

Using this app can really help you to get some basic familiarity of the Morse system. Thanks guys, a great tool to improve knowledge and, frankly, it really is quite enjoyable!

### 5/5 — Great!

*2020-05-26*

A motivating and fun way to learn and practice morse code. Whime I don’t need to get to the 160 characters my grandfather could do, there’s still morse code in aviation.
More fun to identify stations without having to look at charts.
Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — The most functional Morse code trainer in the App Store

*2020-05-07*

I've tried a number of Morse code trainers but this is easily the best. There are excellent graduated learning modules with a fun 'space invaders' mechanic to help with both speed and accuracy. Don't bother with any other training apps.

### 5/5 — Best Morse Code app

*2020-05-01*

This app is the best to learn Morse code. It’s super easy. I also suggest wearing headphones when using this app cause then it helps you learn to listen to Morse code

### 4/5 — Great app to learn the letters

*2020-04-10, version 1.06*

I tried many different Morse code apps and found this was the best, for me, to learn the alphabet in Morse code. I had the entire alphabet down in about two weeks with daily practice. After that I found this app was a little limited and I went to different apps. This app could use more word and sentence practices and more intense listening exercises. But for learning the alphabet, this app is a champ.

### 5/5 — -. .-. . .- -

*2020-03-27, version 1.06*

I never write reviews for apps but I really like this one. It made learning morse code so much easier than I ever thought it could be

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Immediate error message

*2026-06-01*

I received an error right away saying that there was a problem loading packages, along with a prompt asking me to allow pasting from Safari. The app won’t run. I see that it is several years old. I hope the developer will either maintain this app or remove it from the App Store.

**Developer response:** Please try it again. I have corrected the backend issue causing the problem. Let me know if you can.

### 1/5 — Doesn,t work!

*2021-12-04, version 1.08*

Installed it and started it running. Got several pages of instructions and a ftervthat, ended up with a screen with a large green rectangle on it and what ever I did, nothing happened. I Installed it straight away. Really glad I didn't pay anything for it Bill

I am happy to give it another as you have suggested. I actually teach morse code and had hoped that the app would have been good and would gave suggested it to students. Following your suggestion after my first review, do you now produce an updated version that I can give a proper test? Bill

### 1/5 — GREAT HORRIBLE GAME

*2021-08-17, version 1.08*

lol

### 1/5 — Cmon

*2020-03-29, version 1.06*

It doesn’t work even for a single time!

### 1/5 — Bad timing

*2019-11-02*

This app has bad timing issues. It often will not recognize correct answers which will lead to the user developing a bad fist.

**Developer response:** Hello. Thanks for the feedback. The latest release has better timing, and also split pad and iambic mode. The dot duration setting is important to adjust timing for faster/slower tapping speed. We are working to improve tap detection even more, so your feedback is important.

### 1/5 — Nö

*2019-06-03*

Ich kann nicht auf die App zugreifen

### 1/5 — Starts at first level every time!

*2018-07-28*

Why does the app start back down at the first level every time I open the app, and I can't just choose a higher level to work on? I thought I would really like this app after the free levels so I paid to upgrade. Now I feel cheated.

**Developer response:** Please contact us via our website at https://www.tahelpya.com/contact-us so we can resolve this issue. The app should start at the last level you completed. If you choose a different package it will start at level one of that package but you can tap the levels button at the top left corner to select any completed level.

### 2/5 — Not good

*2020-04-15*

It’s got a good sound but to really learn the spacing for the dots/dashes are just wrong seems like

**Developer response:** Hello. Thank you for providing feedback. Dot and dash detection is improved in the latest version. We also have Iambic and split pad modes to try. Please give it a try and let us know if we can tweak it more. You can also try the dot duration setting.

### 2/5 — could’ve been great

*2018-07-17*

the button to make a dit or dah (. or -) sometimes malfunctions and makes the wrong thing despite what you press which wouldn’t be that big of a deal if you weren’t timed so harshly as you are in this. Plus the only free level is supposed to teach you letters but only teaches you a couple. It would be great with some tinkering and if you didn’t have to buy everything.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. We are working on improving the game and your input gives us insight. Please contact us on our site so we can talk about your experience and determine the levels to tweak to make them better. We are also working on a feature to allow the user to adjust the difficulty and tap timing so that it can be customized based on user experience level.

If you would like to join are BETA program, please contact us via our website at https://www.tahelpya.com/contact-us and request BETA access. You will get the latest features and help us improve the app.

### 3/5 — Too much, too fast

*2024-04-18*

I only tried the free version but didn’t see where paying would change this: too many letters, too fast. It piles em all up on you without a way to break it into bite-sized chunks. I love the concept.

**Developer response:** In settings, you can slow down the drop rate, and adjust to your learning level.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I have a problem.

*2026-03-05*

Thank you for creating a very meaningful app.

On the iPhone 17pro, which has changed the model, the following warning is displayed and cannot be started.

“Problem Loading Packages
There was a problem loading the packages, please check network connection and try again.”

I uninstalled it and tried to install it again, but it has the same symptoms.

It is a favorite app for subscription use, so it would be helpful if you could respond.

**Developer response:** I corrected the backend changes that caused is error. Please try again and sorry for the trouble.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2024-08-28, version 1.08*

I went from not knowing a single bit of Morse code to being a master at it just using this app in a day.
Compatible with my old devices too. You do not have to pay and it’s a fun concept. 10/10

### 5/5 — Fun and easy

*2024-02-20, version 1.08*

Helped me learn the timings as well as how to write out the symbols and numbers. Great app.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2023-05-08, version 1.08*

love the app! helps keep your skills sharp! i memorized all the letters. now i use a morse keyboard with confidence! like i said, great app.
must have for anyone who wants to learn morse code.

### 5/5 — Best cw learning tool

*2023-03-07*

Amazing app. I learned all letters quickly! Love the game. Free version very powerful. Paid version great value. LOVE IT. Best app I’ve found to really learn quickly.

### 5/5 — Outstanding app

*2022-06-20, version 1.08*

This app makes it easy to learn or review Morse code. The app worked flawlessly for me. The interface is pleasant, configuration options allow you to tailor the app for your needs, and the “barrage” of letters is actually challenging (but in a good way), it forces you to focus and stay on task thus accelerating your learning on how to send. It starts in “normal” difficulty, but can be switched to “easy” or “hard” to suit your individual needs.
Hopefully, next on their road map is the flip-side, listening to the code and selecting the correct response. Letters first, then words.

### 5/5 — Just wondering

*2020-11-03*

Does this app need Wifi?

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-09-16*

This app is very useful, helped a lot

### 5/5 — Very good

*2020-06-27, version 1.08*

Learnt all the alphabets within a few hours, I like the progression.
 and the game style.

### 5/5 — Update

*2020-06-15*

Review update:

After a hiccup with responding, developer came back and helped resolving the problem. This is rare and to be appreciated!

And I may be too picky on functionality, but we do have a dialog with the dev, so hopefully that would make this game better.

**Developer response:** Sorry for this trouble. We did not receive notifications from our support form. I responded to your query after seeing this review. You can restore purchases via settings at the bottom using the Restore Purchase button. Let me know if this doesn’t work and we’ll work it out.
