### 2/5 — Buggy and frustrating.

*2026-08-22, version 2.0.75*

When trying to swap out a meal, it deletes the full day’s plan. Why can’t you just swap one meal without it deleting your full day’s plan?

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2026-08-08, version 2.0.75*

I was enjoying this app until started noticing tech probs with the app on the meal plans. Every-time you change a meal to something else it would remove your entire meal plan for the day and I had to remember what was there. I contacted customer services and they could not fix it and I had to keep chasing instead of them updating me. It’s a shame as I was enjoying the workouts and seeing progress but the meals plans were driving me mad when they would remove themselves.

### 3/5 — Almost there

*2026-06-10, version 2.0.68*

The app has a good arrangement of workouts but when you need to use a different machine because your gym doesn’t have them, it struggles a lot.

It also struggles when using the same machine for different excersises, the lad pull down wide grip and close grip are inherently different but the app won’t allow having two lat pull down together , on top of that the close grip lat pull down shows someone doing close reverse grip

### 3/5 — Days/weeks out of sync

*2026-06-10, version 2.0.68*

I’m trying to track this workout. At the end of each workout the week and day are registering incorrectly. Driving me nuts!
Otherwise love the content and advice.

### 4/5 — Best Workout App I’ve Tried

*2026-06-09, version 2.0.68*

Best workout app I’ve tried, everything in one place and easy to switch out exercises etc. depending on what’s available during a session.

My only criticism is that the UI could do with some improvements, sometimes when going into the meal plan section it defaults back to week 1 or skips ahead a week. Likewise next workout shows the next workout, but the week selector is a week ahead, and the rest timer between sets resets if you leave an exercise (I.e. to see what’s coming up next).

### 4/5 — Gym app

*2026-05-30, version 2.0.68*

Used the ‘busy dad’ workout to get back into the gym and found it to be very useful . Really good customisation to say how long you want to gym for and helpful videos to show you how to do the exercises.

I would rate 5* but the app is quite expensive (at full price , which I paid , only for it to go on sale a couple of weeks later). Also if you’re switching apps to go to Spotify or in an area of poor WiFi / signal it can be a bit glitchy .

### 4/5 — Too stuff

*2026-05-18, version 2.0.68*

Great app, simple you use and full of helpful information. Only thing I can’t seem to get to work, is the shopping list for the diet. Other than that, it’s decent.

### 5/5 — 👍🏻

👍🏻

### 5/5 — Lifechanging

*2026-03-31, version 2.0.37*

I’ve never been to the gym in my life, i’ve hated the way i’ve look throughout my life but never had the confidence to sign up to a gym and do something about it. I’ve watched Matt for a while and this app is no snakeoil. Sure, you have to put some work in, nobody is accountable other than yourself. But he shows you how to do everything, a workout plan that suits you, records your reps and sets and helps with nutrition. I’m 5 weeks on, down from 87kg to 82kg and I won’t stop now. It’s addictive.

The app works great, no issues at all.

### 5/5 — Legendary Morsia

*2026-02-27, version 2.0.37*

Seriously quality app. Only 3 sessions in but can see how this is fast becoming my gym bible. I actually look forward to my gym sessions now due to knowing I’ve got this in my back pocket!

### 3/5 — Average

*2026-02-09, version 2.0.37*

Honestly it’s not the best. I won’t be renewing. I used it years ago and the app has barely changed or got better at all. It’s still very glitchy. My progress all got removed one day when I put in a new weight. Sometimes you can’t add recipes with a photo, the app just glitches out and crashes. The portion sizes for food don’t work at all. The numbers are always wrong.

### 5/5 — Morsia

*2026-02-04, version 2.0.37*

The app perfectly organises routines, both individually and across a programme. I regularly went to the gym before hand but within the first week I can see and feel the difference using Morsia is having on how I train.

### 5/5 — Class workout app

*2026-01-23, version 2.0.37*

Variety of plans that you can tailor to suit your individual equipment. Perfect for home gyms where you might not have every piece of equipment, you can swap out task for an alternative. Really enjoying using the app to track progress

### 5/5 — Kieran kilminster

*2026-01-19, version 2.0.37*

The app is very helpful and makes you realise how much more workouts there are and how much more there is to learn. It’s very exciting and make sure push yourself and see how much more you can do and it really pushes you to your limit a lot of people should give the Morsia app a chance I would about 95 kg and with this app of an exactly what it’s told me to do and I’ve lost 3 1/2 kg and most expect to lose weight overnight once to see a program but they don’t realise how much patience you have to have and how much hunger you have to have to really care about losing weight so for me personally I would highly recommend anyone that looks at this review to try the Morsia app and give a chance do it properly and then have a look at the results within about a couple of weeks or maybe four weeks and see how much weight you’ll lose if you’re interested question for me it’s very useful. It’s how it’s helped me a lot to gain confidence to feel more comfortable in myself and it’s actually trust one of the actual apps That isn’t actually a scam.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No free trial?

*2026-08-01, version 2.0.75*

Signed up but cannot get past the subscription page without paying.

### 1/5 — Not user friendly at all

*2026-05-30, version 2.0.68*

Very few women’s plans and cannot switch out exercises save for one or two alternatives which require gym machines not available. Lots of duplicating same lifts in same workout. Even home workouts require some benches / equipment most won’t have with no alternative. Gives a shopping list without meal plan… forgot how much I hated the app and repaid to try again - none of the issues fixed in 12 months since last used the app

### 1/5 — Underwhelming

*2026-05-26, version 2.0.68*

Considering the app is £14.99 a month, it is really basic. Almost £200 a year on something that you can find with a simple google search.

### 1/5 — Awful app

*2026-05-14, version 2.0.68*

I really lived this app when I down loaded it. Looking at all the possible options for training and work with a food plan as well.

So with a new training plan in hand we went and did our food shop. That’s where the 1st problem was highlighted. The shopping list was missing lots of ingredients. So couldn’t use that facility, had to go over the ingredients one by one, in total 6 things were missing!
Contacted support who advised us to uninstall, then turn off phone then reinstall.

That didn’t work.

But we proceeded to day one.
Do our food prep for the day. Went to the gym which that side was helpful, showing the form but nothing any different to the other app I had been using all year.

Then at the end of the day I was going over my macros and noticed something odd with the numbers.
What I had left in calories for the day was incorrect, it couldn’t even add up the basic calories of the food plan it had given me! So instead of being in my deficit of 502kcal I was only under by 30kcal.
I then started adding the macros and they were wrong.

Thought it maybe because I had to fiddle with it all the day before. Day 2 started and all I added on was a cup of tea and the pancakes and it was adding up wrong again.
Contacted support again who have said they will forward this information.

I’m on day 4, have cancelled my subscription, uninstalled it.

I would like to say it’s not a big issue, and maybe just me, it’s my husband to.
Has the potential to be great but really isn’t, and from past reviews it seems I not in the minority here.

### 1/5 — Average

*2026-04-13, version 2.0.37*

Content isn’t great, missing some basic fitness app features, RENEWS WITHOUT REMINDER, NO REFUNDS OFFERED

### 1/5 — Can’t get past the first page

*2026-03-24, version 2.0.37*

Unable to use the app as can’t even get past the first page just has a loading icon where I guess the option setting is 😕

### 1/5 — Average app and shady billing

*2025-12-08, version 2.0.33*

Signed up on an offer months ago for a reduced amount, barely used the app as I didn’t really rate it.

Now I’ve been billed a 12 month subscription without warning, openly told “we don’t send reminders” and refused a refund even though I am within a 24 hour period of billing. Which even on the FAQ’s state that you will be billed within 24 hours of renewal date. Which is am within.

Very shady business billing and not clear that the app is going to auto renew.

### 1/5 — Subscription!!

*2025-12-06, version 2.0.33*

Watch out, the app is very sneaky with Subscriptions!! Everything is done by a third party app if you pay on card and not managed via something like Applepay! No prior warning for the renewal.

They took £99.99 out my account. I queried it the first day as soon as I noticed money being taken and advised that I didn’t want to renew & revoke the app access for a refund.

All I got was a return email with their terms and conditions. (Granted everything we sign up for has T&C’s - but a fair notification chance to cancel would be professional)!!

I have chased several times again but they have gone silent!!

To add insult to injury I have since had two emails saying “subscription to end soon” sign up for 30%off 🤦🏼‍♂️🤬.

Twist the knife a bit more Morsia!!

### 1/5 — Not sure what’s going on

*2025-11-30, version 2.0.33*

Tried signing up to this app but says user already exists when I’ve never used it before so tried my girlfriends email and it says the same thing, so tried reset my password and put my email in but nothing has came through. Any way to get around this?

### 1/5 — Dreadful/lack of customer support

*2025-11-05, version 2.0.33*

I contacted the team when I realised this cals set for me were too high requesting how to reduce them. Support replied to tell me how to do this however it never saved the new cals therefore wasn’t usable. I wrote several more emails explaining this and that the free trial was close to ending so was worried I’d be charged for an app that I couldn’t customise therefore use… they told me to wait for a reply… 30d layer still no reply, solution AND IVE BEEN CHARGED! Just awful..!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best yet

*2026-08-01, version 2.0.75*

Best structured app for gym and meal plans I’ve used. Would be great in the workout if the timer could continue when you click out of your current exercise. Would also be good if you could add your own custom exercise to planned workout. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Great app

If you like a lot of lifting on your app join our club

### 5/5 — Seeing results in my first 2 weeks

*2026-06-14, version 2.0.68*

I’ve tried a lot of apps in my time but 2 weeks in with the Morsia app, on the Shred challenge and I’m seeing better results than I did with my PT once a week for months. You need to put the time in, but I highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Legend!

*2026-06-11, version 2.0.68*

You can use the privacy of your own gym and it’s like having your own PT

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2026-06-07, version 2.0.68*

Honestly the best app/PT I’ve ever used. Payed half the price of a month with my old PT and got a full year access of personalised workouts and meal plans. Unreal

### 5/5 — Overall pretty good

*2026-06-06, version 2.0.68*

Good app overall, functionality again is pretty good and it really helped with structure and tracking. I’d love it if all programmes had a home gym setting where you could put in what’s available so you do t have to switch out exercises each time. More aimed at beginners but still very enjoyable and helped me achieve my goals

### 5/5 — Best App Ever

*2026-06-04, version 2.0.68*

Started the 60 day shred plan! So far I’m absolutely loving it and it’s nice to have a structured workout plan I’m able to stick to rather than the unknown
Highly recommend
