I used it to calculate my loan payoff if I shortened the payment period. This gave me the required principal amount. Save each calculation and you can see a comparative with total interest paid too. Only day back is that loan term can only be a full year. Note: I could set the down payment to $0 and it stayed at $0 regardless of what other reviewer had said.
