### 3/5 — Sadly disappointed and cannot use it to fall asleep

I gave 3 stars because I enjoy Mort a lot, but I'm very frustrated that my intended purpose of using this app was to fall asleep to it with no interruptions that jarring awaken me. It plays well enough, but it went through all 3hrs in one night. It will not allow me to listen to them again as a continuous playlist. It will only play the clip I click on and once that one finishes it closes the app! So I literally missed all those stories. Cannot fall asleep in 3.5 minutes which some clips are about that long. Unless this is some sort of way to get people to pay and subscribe.... Needs to be improved and easier to use.

I love love love to listen to Mortis Media on YouTube every night as I drift off to sleep. I recently went away and realised I was unable to fall asleep without that background noise and then I remembered Mort had mentioned his app. I downloaded it and I was so pleased to be able to still slip peacefully into slumber. Love the ability to layer the sounds & even change the background image. Love you Mortis 🌘🌠

I’d give the stories a 10+ star if I could. I listen to him every night falling asleep, the only down fall I have with downloading the app, that I didn’t have with YouTube, is that the app over heats my phone. I think that’s because the Mortis app uses more gigabytes than YouTube or possibly because I’m using Wi-Fi to listen, so hopefully whenever my service is paid my phone will stop over heating itself.

Mort is how i fall asleep at night but this app has some issues. 
1) i wish i could just redownload older recordings of a genre i enjoy when i run out of content. I dont mind listening to the same story since its easier to fall asleep to
2) i wish the favorite and history sections were more organized
3) weird thing now that since i have no more stories left, when i listen to saved or history stories the app plays one story and then crashes on me. Or maybe just quits! Why not play the other stories on the list?

I almost exclusively listen to scary stories while I’m working so I was very excited when this app came out. I used to listen to Morts stories on YouTube but the ads got annoying and when I have too many programs open YouTube lags. I went through all the free stories and decided to subscribe- only $10 for lifetime access and endless stories is so worth it! The sound effects are a lot of fun to play around with too and I love that you can choose a story genre.

Also I really like the cute little messages when you first open the app or when you run out of stories!

I’ll pay for premium when fixed because of the battery drain issue. This app makes storytelling easier to listen. YouTube doesn’t use much battery. Love the app just needs a optimization.

All audio is now exactly the same volume - this is especially good for the Vault stories. Lots of little fixes, some new graphics, and tweaks. It's a really nice update.

New Stuff:

The vault has been added, this is Mort's early story work (over 700 stories!), some have 
since been re-recorded, but some are all new content you will never have heard before. This 
is only available in the full app in the settings screen.
More will be added to the Vault once further early work is found/processed.

Total stories in the app are now approaching 4000!

Bug Fixes:
You can now access the hidden choose your own adventure game again if auto downloads is turned on.
Scroller fixed on subscribe/about screen (was invisible!).
Achievement for listening to over 50 tracks fixed.

Various little bug fixes and new display tweaks.

Future:
A feature to flag stories for triggers (ie substance use etc.) and a feature to not play stories
which include things you don't want. This will require community flagging.

Comment on stories.

A bigger choose your own adventure game.

A more advanced soundscape creator.

Don't delete heard stories feature - keep everything, although it will take up quite a bit of space
once you have thousands of stories!
