MOS Speedrun is cute, quirky and infinitely replayable. Levels are set up so that you could accomplish one of several goals, then perform a proper speed runs. I personally love the unlockable costumes. The game has received continuous updates (including iOS 7 and iPhone 5 widescreen support), years after its release. I would like to see an "trophies" button to see the Game Center achievements. Not necessarily revolutionary, but an extension of what has already been done. The graphics are great, and the game plays really well. The two problems for me are that you can't use your coins for upgrades, and the second is that it's annoying to collect badges to advance to the next set of levels. Very good game design and I would say if any iOS game could be credited as the 'Super Mario NES' of this platform it is this one. Particularly nice is that Mos gets killed an awful lot but does not himself do any killing. It's nice to have a great non-killing game - wish there where more. I really think it would be a crime not to have a Mos Speedrun 2 with an expanded level count. Anyway this is pure platforming joy at its finest. I think I have completely mastered the game 3 times now and reset it for the joy of a fourth go! Need a second game devs! ### 5/5 — Super! *2013-11-21* Ich habe dieses Spiel schon vor einiger Zeit gefunden und spiele seither zwischendurch immer wieder mal ein paar Level. Das neue Update ermöglicht auch endlich, die Steuerelemente selbst anzuordnen, sehr schön. Das Spiel selbst ist einfach gehalten, macht jedoch schnell süchtig. Als kleiner Käfer rennt man durch eine Welt aus verschiedenen Hindernissen, u.a. Zombies und Feuerkugeln, die man nicht berühren darf. In jedem Level gibt es verschiedene Ziele zu erreichen, so dass man jedes Level mehrfach zockt, um doch noch die bessere Zeit zu schaffen, oder alle Münzen zu finden, oder die versteckten Extras zu finden, usw. Es gibt fünf Kapitel mit jeweils fünf Leveln. Ich wünsche mir noch, dass mein Spielstand in die iCloud geladen werden kann. Du bist ein Floh oder ein Käfer und hüpfst durch eine Welt die mit Zombies, Bienen, Feuerbällen und Dampfenden Röhren übersät ist. Es macht spaß aber wenn du in eine neue Welt willst musst du die vorgegebene Zeit schlagen was schwierig aber machbar ist. Was mir fehlt ist das man den Feinden auf den Kopf springen sollte damit sie sterben und das vielleicht ein bißchen weniger Blut Spritzen sollte. Ansonsten macht es Spaß. I like to go back and get that stuff when I'm done. Maybe you should reward the player for collecting that stuff, not punish them and force them to get it to move on. That to me is a fatal flaw and makes a 5 star game a 1 star game. It's a very well designed platformer that focuses on making sure you can play levels again and again and it never gets old. There are goals for each level (win, get all the coins, etc,) that are really fun to try to get. Also the speedrun in the title is literal, it's really fun trying to beat your own records!
