## What is Mossling?

Some days you can do everything. Some days you can do two small things. Mossling is built for both.

Mossling is a gentle self-care companion. You tend small daily habits (a glass of water, an open window, three slow breaths) and a little moss creature grows alongside you.

CHOOSE TODAY'S COMPANION
Each day, pick who keeps you company, and the day sizes itself to match:
• Sprout: low energy. Two tiny things is a full day.
• Fen: steady. Four gentle tasks.
• Blossom: bright. Six, if you're up for it.
Change your mind at noon and the goal moves with you. Anything you've already tended still counts.

STREAKS THAT BEND
A missed day softens your streak by one. It never wipes it. Need a real break? Rest mode pauses everything exactly as it is.

A GARDEN PLOT
Your tasks live in three colour-coded beds: Body, Mind and Space. Plant your own, and let the ones that don't fit right now rest.

A ONE-LINE JOURNAL
One sentence a day, with up to three mood tags. Enough to look back on, small enough to actually do. Export it whenever you like.

GROW SOMETHING
Your moss grows through seven stages, from Spore to Grove, and new companions join your collection as you go. Everything you've done is counted for good: lifetime totals only ever go up.

QUIET BY DESIGN
• Your tasks, journal and garden stay on your iPhone
• No account, no sign-up, no ads
• No feed, no friends, no comparison

MOSSLING PRO
Mossling Pro keeps the daily tending going: check-ins, tasks, new journal lines and detailed statistics. Everything you've already written stays readable and exportable, and nothing is ever deleted, subscribed or not.
• Choose monthly or yearly. New subscribers get a 2-week free trial.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, after any free trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings.
Anyone who installed Mossling 1.0 keeps everything free, forever.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-07

Introducing the Pet Chooser. Each day, pick a plant companion to match your energy, and Mossling sizes the day for you:
• Sprout, for low days: two tiny tasks is a full day
• Fen, for steady days: four gentle tasks
• Blossom, for bright days: six, if you're up for it

Also new:
• A completely redesigned, fully native app: smoother, faster and calmer
• Tasks sorted into Body, Mind and Space
• A quiet arrival moment each day and a one-tap feeling check-in
• Rest mode, for when you need a real break
• Your companion hops when you tend something, and moss floats up as you go
• Export your journal any time

Your garden, journal, moss and streak come with you automatically. If you chose a companion in the last version, you'll now pick from Sprout, Fen and Blossom.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-01

Meet your companion.

Mossling now opens with a choice. Hatch one at random, or pick from six — Fen, Pip, Brume, Tansy, Cobble and Wisp — and give them a name that is yours. Each one grows through the same seven stages, in their own colours.

Already tending a sprite? Nothing changes. Your companion, your name, your streak and every journal entry stay exactly as they were. You can pick a different companion any time in Settings, and your progress comes with you.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-26

Mossling is now a subscription, with a 14-day free trial.

If you were here before this update, it stays free for you — all of it, permanently. Thank you for being early.

Also in this update:

• Fixed buttons across the app that were showing no label
• Fixed missing help text on empty screens

As always: your notes stay readable whatever happens, your sprite keeps the stage it reached, and nothing is ever deleted.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-16
