Motarix is the parts counter for European cars in Tanzania, in your pocket. Find the part that fits your BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi or Volkswagen, see the price in Tanzanian Shillings, and pay for it in the app. FIND THE PART THAT ACTUALLY FITS Pick your car once - make, model, generation, engine - and Motarix shows you only what fits it. Every part is checked against your exact engine variant, not just the model name, so you do not end up with a disc that is 8mm too small. SEARCH THE WAY MECHANICS DO Type a part number, an OE reference off the old part, or just the name. Motarix matches punctuation-free part numbers too, so "P06075" and "P 06 075" both find the same brake pads. Every part lists the original manufacturer numbers it replaces, and you can tap any of them to copy. BRANDS THAT SUPPLY THE FACTORIES Bosch, Brembo, Mann-Filter, Febi Bilstein, Bilstein, Liqui Moly, ZF and Ridex - the names that make the parts fitted at the factory, without the dealership markup. PAY IN THE APP For anything we hold on the shelf, pay with Vodacom M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Mixx by Yas, Halopesa or a card. Approve it on your phone and the order is placed. No counter visit, no bank transfer, no haggling over the total. WHAT WE BRING IN FOR YOU Most of the catalogue we order from Europe in 5 to 10 days. Those parts are not paid for in the app: tap the button on the part and it opens a WhatsApp message to our shop, already written, and we agree the price and the timing with you first. DELIVERED TO THE LANDMARK YOU NAME Dar addresses run on area and landmark, not street numbers, and the delivery form asks for exactly that. The delivery charge is worked out and shown to you before you pay, never after. YOUR ORDERS, IN ONE PLACE Every order and every request you have sent us, with what is happening to it in plain words. Order updates arrive as notifications, and we tell you the moment a part you wanted is back on the shelf. YOUR GARAGE Save the cars you look after. Switch between them and the whole catalogue re-filters. Useful whether it is your own car or a workshop full of them. DELIVERY ACROSS TANZANIA Dar es Salaam in 1-3 working days. Dodoma, Arusha, Mwanza and Mbeya in 3-7. BROWSE WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Search the whole catalogue, save your car and fill a basket without signing up. You add an email address only when you pay, so we can send you the order. Sign-in is a code we email you, not a password to remember. Tap an OE number to see every part that has it. - Goes with this: what you need with a part, on the part page and in your cart. - A real arrival date on every part, and how it reaches you. - Shopping for: your car at the top of each list. Tap it to change car. - Typed a part number that does not fit your car? We show the ones that do. - Orders: each step with its date, how you paid, your receipt (a Receipt button once it is ready; until then, ask us for it on WhatsApp), bus parcel numbers you can copy, and Return or Problem. - Garage: your car keeps its number plate or chassis number, a backup on your account, the parts you bought for it, and a service log with reminders you switch on. - Share a part, our opening hours, About Motarix, Rate the App and new headings. ### 1.5.5 — 2026-10-17 Tyres are here, and your car has its own details page. TYRES BY SIZE Find summer and all-season tyres by size: pick it, or type it as it is on your tyre, like 205/55 R16. CAR DETAILS In Garage, tap your active car to see its engine, fluids and capacities, wheels and size. ALSO Names start with a capital letter. Clearer buttons, one red button in the cart, and our email in Account under Contact. Smaller fixes too. ### 1.5.4 — 2026-10-13 Pay a 50% deposit for parts we bring in. PARTS WE BRING IN Tap "Pay deposit" in your cart and pay half now by mobile money, card or Lipa Number. Pay the balance with delivery when your part arrives: most take 5 to 20 days. Your order shows what is paid and what is due. YOUR PHONE NUMBER Tanzania (+255) is already chosen, so just type your number. Elsewhere? Tap +255 and pick your country. ENGINE OIL With your car chosen, an engine oil says "Grade suits your engine" when its grade is one your engine takes. Otherwise it asks you to check the grade. ALSO Empty categories are hidden, a photo shared with another part says so, and smaller fixes. ### 1.5.2 — 2026-10-02 Send us a request without leaving the app, and see how much engine oil your car takes. REQUESTS, RIGHT IN THE APP Signed in with your mobile number? "Send request" now sends your question about a part, your order for parts we bring in, or your call-back request straight to our team inside the app. Nothing opens in WhatsApp: we call you on your number or answer you in the app, and you can see your requests in My orders. Not signed in, or no number on your account? WhatsApp works exactly as before. YOUR CAR'S ENGINE OIL With your car selected, the Engine Oil page now says, for many cars, how many litres of oil the engine takes and which packs cover it, for example "One 5 L pack covers it." It also recommends the viscosity for your car, such as 5W-30; tap it to see only those oils. An engine oil's own page says whether its viscosity is the one recommended for your car. FILTER BY PACK SIZE Engine oil, gear oil, ATF, coolant, brake fluid and power steering fluid now have a row of pack sizes - 500 ml, 1 L, 4 L, 5 L, 20 L and more - so you see only the packs you want. With your car selected on Engine Oil, the sizes that cover its oil are ticked. HOW MANY YOU NEED On a spark plug, glow plug or plug-top ignition coil that fits your car, the page says how many to buy, for example "You need 4 of these: one per cylinder." TRADE ACCOUNTS FOR GARAGES Register trade interest now asks for your garage's name and the number to call, so our team can set up your trade prices without chasing you. FIND MY CAR When we cannot find your car from its number plate or chassis number by ourselves, and you are signed in with your number, the number goes to our team in the app and the screen tells you we will call you. Otherwise it goes to WhatsApp, as before. A CLEANER LOOK On Android, the Motarix logo now sits properly inside the app icon, and notifications show the logo. On iPhone, the top bar turns see-through as you scroll, like the Settings app. Part pages have plain headings: Details, Specification and Fitment. ALSO Smaller fixes across the app. ### 1.5.1 — 2026-09-28 Type your chassis number and we find your car. YOUR CAR, FROM ITS CHASSIS NUMBER Type the chassis number from your registration card, like NCP100-2005620, in the same box as a number plate. For Japanese cars - Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru and Suzuki - we look for it in our catalogue and, when it matches, ask you to confirm the engine. If it does not match, it goes to our team on WhatsApp and a person finishes the job, as before. STRAIGHT INTO YOUR GARAGE When a 17-character chassis number (VIN), typed or found from your number plate, points to exactly one engine, the car goes straight into your garage, with no second choice to make. YOUR NUMBER, FROM ANY COUNTRY Type your mobile number with + and the country code, like +255758615615. You can now see it and change it in Settings. CLEARER MESSAGES When something goes wrong, the app says what happened in plain words and what to do next. ON ANDROID Proper icons in the tab bar and across the app, cleaner headers, and the Add to cart bar now sits above the phone's navigation buttons. ALSO Part photos load faster. On a weak connection you stay signed in, instead of being told you are signed out. Smaller fixes across the app. ## Apps similar to Motarix | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Nida & Danish](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/nida-and-danish/id6443723159) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Shopping | | [Sarafu](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/sarafu/id1532006323) | 1.0 (1) | Free | Shopping | | [ChapChap App](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/chapchap-app/id1578742848) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Shopping | | [Hyperama - SA Shop In UAE](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/hyperama-sa-shop-in-uae/id1537447693) | 4.7 (67) | Free | Shopping | | [Jiji Tanzania](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/jiji-tanzania/id1037699627) | 4.5 (17) | Free | Shopping | | [Chum.ae - Savings & Deals app](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/chumae-savings-and-deals-app/id1606507215) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Shopping | ## More apps by Hament, Inc. - [Hament](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/hament/id6790854090) All apps by Hament, Inc.: https://appshunter.io/developer/6790854092 --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
