If fixed would be five stars ### 3/5 — Great game but many updates are needed *2019-04-29, version 1.6.0* This is a fun and addictive game. However, there are some updates are needed. Most of my complaint is the sample puzzle doesn’t refresh or overlapped a lot. I have to quit the game in order to review the target shape. The game is a good idea but it doesn't work well **Developer response:** Hi, Actually, Motif should be perfect same with solution to accept it. Any small differences cause a problem to accept solution. You can enlarged solution image in Motif v1.5 to observe detailed. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Waste of a download *2019-06-30, version 1.6.0* Got the game, did one puzzle/level and it kicked me to some “playond” page asking me to subscribe. I made an account and it keeps giving me an error. I can’t play this game, I can’t find any info pertaining to “playond” or anyway to contact them. This is stupid and annoying ### 1/5 — Buggy *2019-04-27, version 1.6.0* This is a pretty simple game, so there aren't too many ways for it to be bugged. Lately, though, it's been pretty bad. It interrupted one of my puzzles to ask me to review the game, which would be completely fine, if not for the fact that it erased my progress and I was nearly finished with that one, which was particularly challenging. Additionally, the small model of the shape you have to make that appears above the grid has display issues. It will disappear entirely or overlap with the image of the last shape, which makes the puzzle virtually impossible for most people. ### 1/5 — Too annoying *2019-04-18, version 1.6.0* Remind me to rate it in EVERY round. Sometimes it just adds itself to last design!! My memory of what it is supposed to look like isn’t good enough to continue to play. I have to continually go back and retap the one I want in order the get a motif to show at the top of the screen! Most often the motif shown at the top cannot be completed with the shape provided!! I’m playing on a brand new iPad so I’m thinking the game has a glitch! Please look into this. I gave two stars because when it shows the correct motif, the game is fun! ### 2/5 — Small problem *2019-04-25, version 1.6.0* I really love this game I love the simplicity and it’s relaxing however when I got past like eight or nine levels, the motif at the top is still being shown from the puzzle before and it kept keeping all the motifs that I had already finished at the top so whenever I get to a new level the new motif would be jumbled up in a stack of all the old ones and I couldn’t use it. Please fix this problem and I will give you a five star review. ### 2/5 — Disappointing, not worth 2 dollars *2017-09-07, version 1.0* Levels are very repetitive and don't get harder. Game is faulty and doesn't recognize the same solution in a symmetrically equivalent way; often the challenge is not figuring out the pattern but getting the game to recognize that I've got it. Cool idea, poor implementation and level design. **Developer response:** We are updating our game to adding new gameplay mechanic and extra 100+ motifs for your enjoyment. ### 3/5 — Hard to play on phone -ad blocks some of the pieces. *2021-10-22, version 2.1* I love the game, but when you have 4 or more pieces to fit, one piece is always hidden behind the static ad for the Color Motif game. Needless to say, it has yet to disappoint, and I find myself playing this game when I need something relaxing to calm myself, while still working my brain a little bit. Thank you! ### 4/5 — Fun, simple time waster *2019-04-19, version 1.6.0* I am loving this game! It has been a lot of fun playing around with different patterns before following the one needed to finish the level. However, there are now levels that don’t show you the target shape. And when they do, it’s a solid white shape and you have to tap to enlarge in order to see the shape at all. This seems like a bad bug that needs to be fixed. However, the option to turn off the guide shape at the top may be a good challenge option that some players would like to choose if they feel the game is too easy.
