There’s an option for it not to take photos but no options to enable a sound. I very rarely rate an app 1 Star so that says a lot. The reason why is that you have to upgrade in order to take a video, which is completely stupid. I would rate it zero stars if I could. Don’t get it. ### 4/5 — Useful free motion detection camera app *2019-11-23* I downloaded this to try to capture what nocturnal critter was eating my apples in my patio. I turned on my entry light and had a little solar powered patio light moved near the tree. Some shots had blanks, maybe a shrub moved by the animal or wind. Used it for 2 nights to get a few shots of the invader, which turned out to be an opossum! Worked great for what I was trying to accomplish. ### 2/5 — Photo overflow *2019-11-19* Great idea but impractical in reality. The camera takes so many photos a split second apart that you’ll end up with hundreds in your camera roll for any one detected event. There is no option to delay a next photo for 3 seconds (say). Unbelievably useful free tool. The capture rate might be a bit low for some applications, but hey, the pro version is right there with video capture — and so cheap! Insert Fry take my money meme. ### 5/5 — FREAKY but good quality *2023-03-28* I am literally shaking in fear, I used it and it said “Looking for motion” so I was waiting for a second; back story of getting the app, every night I go to bed at 2:00 AM because I have the feeling that someone is watching me from my closet. One day I decided I had enough so at night I was looking on safari for apps and came across this one, so I got it and it said looking for motion, so I waiting and then the record button turned on- FOR ONE SECOND- then turned off and like 15 seconds later TURNED BACK ON so I decided to write this down for people to beware- if you feel someone watching you from somewhere in your house/ room/ apartment/ ETC get ready to be scared if you get this app. Great quality though I recommend you get it besides the scary part. Piccolo trick: si può usare la front camera ed oscurare lo schermo scorrendo un dito verso il basso(e viceversa per ripristinare la luminosità). Così posso riciclare il vecchio IPhone 4S come riproduttore di musica e come cam x video sorveglianza off-line/wifi/online. I told everyone in the family to promise not to: Touch, block, or delete the camera. Of course, my dad found a sneaky way to block the camera making it look like Santa did it... but didn’t look close enough at the pictures and didn’t delete some proof that he was there. (His reflection in the windows) Other then that, the camera has amazing quality, when you scroll through the photos it’s almost like a video. It captured every possible movement that even I couldn’t see! This app did an outstanding job of capturing night time photos without shining a bright light. I don’t know if that’s night vision or what, but it works perfectly! Thank you producers for making this app, it’s truly amazing, and best quality I could find in the App Store! Also allows remote access to capture specific footage, which is great. However I would suggest this urgently needs an upgrade to address periods of high activity with a selectable limit of photos/video per minute, to stop storage filling up too quickly.
