I’m tired of software we cannot own. Leasing this product is the worst thing about it. ### 4/5 — Missing Basic Overlay Trimming Functionality *2026-06-23* I really love this app, but it’s missing a very basic feature: the ability to trim overlay elements such as text, or drawn vectors. Currently, once an overlay is added, it remains visible throughout the entire video, with no way to trim or limit it to a specific section of the timeline. I am familiar with plenty of other software both in the illustration and animation realm. This is very frustrating. Often images disappear and won’t play back in the scene animation. Functions seem to conflict Opacity/Hidden. Every time I open a file that’s stored on my computer, this app creates a new document in the Linearity “Cloud”. I do not trust your company to store my artwork. Provide an option to turn off the cloud and let your users store their own artwork and then I’ll increase my rating. Until we can turn off the cloud, zero stars! Vektor-Export steht tatsächlich auf unserer Liste der nächsten Verbesserungen - woher die Aussage kommt, dass das nicht geplant sei, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Wir suchen aktuell nach einer Menge von Beispielanimationen um zu verstehen, welche Inhalte Nutzer als Vektoranimationen exportieren wollen. Das ist notwendig um unseren Ansatz zum Export zu definieren. Das Thema ist extrem komplex und es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten, wie wir es umsetzen könnten, z.B. Animierte SVG, Lottie, CSS, PDF, WebGL etc., die aber alle mit eigenen Einschränkungen daher kommen. Bei manchen Formaten geht z.B. Text besser, bei anderen sind die Animationen smoother. Die Bitte, dich bei unserem Support Team zu melden, resultiert daraus dass wir besser verstehen wollen welches Vektorformat das Beste zum Start wäre. Und so eine Konversation kann man schlecht über App Store Reviews führen. Wir würden uns immer noch sehr freuen , wenn du uns ne kurze Mail an support@linearity.io schreibst, dann können wir nämlich mehr detaillierte Fragen fragen um besser zu verstehen welches Format für deinen Usecase am besten wäre. Еще бы добавили PNG секвецию и tgs! Вроде lottie работает, хотя при сохранении указывал на какую-то ошибку с масштабированием. Recently ( today, really. ) I began playing around with it and still I have zero idea what I’m doing. Originally I downloaded it to see if it had potential as an artsie app, like for animating scenes with characters and stuff because I hate Alight motion (ads, bugs, crashes, etc.) and I kinda hate ToonSquid because it’s difficult to find tools since they’re kinda scattered everywhere.
