But most of the time it is hard to get it going. It crashes several times before starting up. Sometimes it crashes while shooting, which is even more disappointing because I have missed some great bird videos because of it. ### 2/5 — Has issues *2021-12-06* The camera works as expected , but uses a lot of battery. The issue is while this app was installed my phone kept dropping phone calls . My phone never does that. I uninstalled the app and I haven’t had a dropped call since . I requested a refund . ### 4/5 — Small animal captures *2021-02-15* Pretty cool little app. motion sensitivity and speed is pretty darn good. You can even select area of sensitivity range within the view of the picture area. you can select how long the video recording runs after motion is stopped . I had to stabilize my bird feeder so that only bird motion is captured otherwise it would keep rocking. you will need camera support to hold your camera solid still to the framing of the subject area while you are not there. I would not try this Marmots , Monkeys and Ravens.......Marmots, Monkeys and Raven .....Oh My ! ### 2/5 — No funciona bien *2021-01-13* Es justo lo que buscaba pero el enfoque automático al parecer lo toma como un movimiento y comienza a grabar y si lo desactivas ya no se verán bien los videos si hay mucha o poca luz, ojalá puedan solucionar eso, también compre Cambush y es lo mismo, así ya no me sirve por que me satura iCloud muy pronto y en su mayoría de los videos no hay nada ni nadie moviéndose por qué se activa sola la grabación. Ya probé con alta media y baja sensibilidad de movimiento y es lo mismo, solo graba bien desactivando el enfoque automático, pero como ya lo dije poca o mucha luz ya no se aprecia lo que grabas. ### 2/5 — Good concept but super buggy and feels unfinished *2020-11-29* Using this to capture footage of hummingbirds coming up to a feeder which is suction cupped to my window. It works sometimes. Unfortunately the app keeps crashing on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 14.2. Sometimes I have to try 10-12 times before it will successfully launch. Also would be nice to be able to do a slow motion edit on the footage or capture still frames from the videos, which I can see having use in a security camera mode, but the app doesn’t have that capability. Overall, feels like it was half finished. ### 4/5 — Not bad *2020-11-05* Works quite well. The screen stays on and lit whenever the app is activated. ### 3/5 — Good, but crashes too much *2020-05-23* Functionally speaking, it’s a nice app. I’ve gotten dozens of cool videos of the birds in the bird feeder outside my window by setting up my phone, turning on this app, and letting it run for a few hours. It’s a really cool opportunity, and easy to learn for beginners. I will say that for $5, I was expecting a much smoother app. It crashes frequently, probably every time I use it. Additionally, when you view one of the videos that you’ve collected and then go back to the full list of videos, it’s nearly impossible to figure out which video you just watched. So isst sie leider nicht zu gebrauchen. Bewegungen werden nur auf nahe Distanz erkannt. Motion detection always triggers immediately. The video captured is also undulating. Turning off autofocus has no effect. I checked and if I shoot a video on this device using Apples native camera app it is perfect. Please help, and I will revise this rating. ### 1/5 — Not ideal for surveillance as advertised *2024-06-24* When using the front facing camera, there’s no way I found to hide the screen when it’s recording. Minimizing the app or opening another app to hide the screen stop the recording. This makes it obvious to everyone that the camera is on and recording. It also wastes battery life. Aber was helfen die besten Optionen, wenn die App ständig abschmiert? Entweder zeichnet sie einfach nur nicht mehr auf, oder aber sie lässt sich erst gar nicht mehr starten (hier hilft nur iPhone Neustart). Der Sync ins Fotoalbum funktioniert auch nur sporadisch, ebenso in die iCloud. Irgendwann bricht der Sync ohne Meldung ab, dann wird auch nichts mehr aufgenommen. Sehr schade.
