Use MotionIQ to gain insights into your mountain bike suspension performance. 

MotionIQ records data from multiple sensors while you ride your favorite trails.  Use your iPhone to gather data wirelessly and make recordings, then view the results instantly on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. All your data is stored securely on your iCloud account or your favorite cloud storage provider. Use MotionIQ to view your suspension sag in realtime, or see how often you bottom out, or compare your front/rear balance. Generate a report to easily compare results from multiple runs using your favorite spreadsheet application.

By far the easiest way to figure out what to do with all of those knobs on your bike. One of the few easy ways to connect data with feeling. Specialized should have kept going with this project. Would have been an easy differentiator!

### 4.10 — 2025-09-04

We wanted to let you know that we’ve made the difficult decision to retire the MotionIQ app, effective November 30, 2025. After this date, the app will no longer be available in the App Store.
If you already have the app installed on your phone, you will be able to continue to use it. However, we will no longer make updates or be able to provide support.
In our last update, we unlocked all premium features for all users. In order to have access to these features please make sure you update the app before November 30, 2025 to take advantage of this. You will no longer have to pay a subscription fee.
If you wish to continue using the app after that date, please do not delete it from your device, as it will no longer be available for re-download.
This decision wasn’t made lightly. Since launch, our mission has been to help riders optimize their suspension settings for better comfort, control, and performance through real-time data analysis.
We’re incredibly grateful for your support and feedback throughout this journey.

- Importing bike model files is fixed, mostly. If you have any trouble navigate to the Results tab and try the import again.
- Bike model files may use the file extensions:  .mibd  .mib  .txt
- In some rare cases the live ride map would not display the user's location. Fixed.
