### 3/5 — A nice idea

*2020-04-23, version 2.3.5*

I purchased a ring about 18 months ago after much debate. The first ring I had stopped working a couple months after having it and customer service was sort of quick in helping me get a replacement ring which also worked a couple months before it stopped working. Third ring arrives and lasted about a year and started to work intermittently. No more heart and kept telling me I would walk 88 steps each day and was stuck on 84% charge even after a normal charge time. Customer service was slower to respond (Covid-19) and explained that since my original ring was purchased more than a year ago- the replacement ring was not covered under any replacement plan.

It’s a neat idea and when it worked it worked pretty good- but think I will wait before I purchase another Motiv.... needs some tweaking I think.

### 4/5 — Great little fitness ring

*2019-08-03, version 2.3.2*

I’ve had this room for over a year and I’ve found it very comfortable to wear. It tracks my steps accurately, my beats per minute, and my sleep pattern. I find that beats per minute really useful during my tennis matches; it’s fun to track my bpm during my physical activity. And this little ring can take a beating because I wear it during my matches.

I had to return my previous ring because it had a technical problem or something and MOTIV was great at assisting me in this process of exchanging it. I wish they had a phone number so you can speak to somebody but they will respond over email, just don’t expect an immediate response. But I had hardly any issues with it.

The rose gold ring color is nice but a bit dark, I hope they carry more colors in the future. It’s comfortable to wear and the demo ring fitter is a great idea it helps you pick the right size and everyone should definitely do that before you purchase your ring.

The app is useful and displays good info. I’ve never used any other fitness trackers so I cant compare it to others.

### 3/5 — First Product Review I’ve ever given

*2019-05-09, version 2.3.1*

The only thing that rivals the Motiv Ring is Motiv’s customer support. They are readily available, responsive and it’s just a tremendous testament to this company. The ring itself is awesome. I’ve taken it underwater, climbing, running, fishing, clamming, helicopter skiing in some pretty narly conditions and temperatures...and it’s more comfortable than a wedding band. This is the first product review I’ve ever given on a website but I’m blown away on all fronts. Other than a standard ring, this is the only thing I’ve ever been able to wear for any considerable amount of a time (13 months and counting. A full charge will last you 4 days in my experience but you could easily get a days worth of charge in the same amount of time it takes to shower.

### 5/5 — Best piece of ‘jewelry’ I’ve ever owned!

*2019-04-11, version 2.2.1*

I’m just over 40 now, with a stressful but mostly sedimentary job. I am not a fan of sporty wrist bands and watches. And I don’t need the see my phone msgs on my wrist. I needed a health tracker I would wear regularly. I’m still a newbie using the Motiv ring, but it was simple to sync to my iPhone once I received it. And truth be told. I have only taken it off to charge it and to shower! The order process was thought out well considering the trial set they send so you can find a good fit. Wearing the ‘trial’ ring for 24 hours is definitely well advised.

### 4/5 — Convenient and Easy to use for HR and steps

*2019-04-01, version 2.2.1*

I really like my Motiv ring for its convenience and how easy it is to wear during a workout and sleep. I’ve seen some of the bad reviews and think they are a bit harsh. The ring may not be perfect but it’s relatively consistent and the battery lasts for 2-3 days depending on how often You synch it. A few scratches if u are wearing it 100% but they are hard to see in my rose gold ring and I’m using the ring for health and not fire fashion anyway (rose gold is more coppery in color and darker then I imagined but I can live with it). Overall it makes me more aware of my sleep and heart rate which is good.

### 5/5 — Motiv is great

*2019-04-01, version 2.2.1*

I really like the Motiv ring. It counts my steps and is calculating my sleep hours perfectly. The Fitbit never could get my sleep recorded. I was not impressed.
The Motiv has been a wonderful tool for me. My personal thanks to the inventors.
One thing though I would love to be able to have the data sync with the Weight Watcher application. I have told fellow members about this ring and that is one of the questions I get Can it sync with Weight Watcher tools? I have to tell them no and it does turn them off to the Motiv ring.

### 5/5 — Highly Recommend

*2019-03-31, version 2.2.1*

I have been able to improve my sleeping habits by monitoring my results on Motiv. I didn’t realize how little sleep I was getting until I saw the actual number of hours on the app. Now I make sure I am in bed by 10:30pm and I am not so tired anymore. Monitoring my steps keeps me moving during the day. I tried all of this with a fitness watch but it was so bulky and uncomfortable. The motiv ring is perfect and the app is so easy to read and understand. I have recommended it to friends and family. You can’t go wrong with Motiv.

### 5/5 — Stylish and good functionality

*2019-03-13, version 2.2.1*

My cardiologist wanted me to get a fitness tracker but everything I looked at was ugly and obtrusive. I saw the Motiv ring when it was in beta and purchased it when it came out fall ‘17.
I love the look, not having it draw attention, and it does everything I want.
I had a problem with it charging this past fall but customer service was helpful and determined they needed to replace it. The new one arrived promptly and it’s working perfectly again.
Thank you Motiv for helping me lose weight and do it in style!

### 5/5 — A Very Satisfied and Happy Motiv User of over 2 years!!!!

*2019-03-12, version 2.2.1*

I have been a Motiv ring user and fan since the very beginning! The only time my ring comes off my finger is when it needs to be charged. It’s very comfortable, waterproof and stylish. I at times forget that it is tracking my health and fitness.

I want to also mention that Motiv’s Support Staff and Owners are very attentive to any questions or problems that might arise with your ring. They want to make sure you are happy and satisfied with their products.

As for the Motiv app, it is very easy to use and understand, new features are being added all the time to make my experience with my ring enjoyable.......All the Best, Ginni L.

### 4/5 — Great product but customer service needs improvement

*2019-03-11, version 2.2.1*

What a great product (and app) for health tracking especially if you don’t want to wear something on your wrist (already wear a watch, other products are an eye sore or wear out quickly, etc). In addition, this tracks your “active” mins which is a plus over just tracking your steps and knowing your meeting a healthy activity goal day to day, week to week and month to month. Tracking of your sleep, resting hr, your heart rate throughout the day and calories are just some the other benefits of owning this ring. App is easy to use and very intuitive, in my opinion.

Now for the one star left off for a perfect review and that is due to the responsiveness of customer service. It’s basically email only with no way to contact a live person via phone and emails can go unanswered for a period of time IF they are busy and don’t have the resources which is no excuse on their part. They did say the need to address that and apologized profusely which was sincere and they addressed my issue immediately with satisfying results in the end.

### 5/5 — Great Ring Great App

*2019-03-11, version 2.2.1*

I love the Motiv ring. Got it in rose gold and receive many compliments on ring without people even knowing what it does. Then I show them and they really love it. Great for fitness tracker. Amazed that it can tell if I walk or run. Nice to have sleep tracker and HR tracker, as well. The find my iPhone feature pretty cool, but sometimes takes a few tries to get it to work correctly. Work in health care, wash my hands frequently and no issues. Quick charge time. When it’s done charging it says “Ready? Go!”

### 4/5 — Great way to keep track of your health

*2019-03-10, version 2.2.1*

I bought the ring with the sole purpose of monitoring my sleeping patterns. I couldn’t see myself sleeping with a gadget on my wrist and it seemed like the perfect solution. It has been close to two months and I believe it’s one of the best purchase I’ve made. The ring track movements or restless time while you’re sleeping. It also gives you sleeping trends and your resting heart rate. These features had help me a lot with my sleeping hygiene. A cool features that I wasn’t expecting to enjoy was the pedometer that works together with heart rate monitor to show you active physical minutes. The app asks you to input the type of activity that you did. This a great way to challenge yourself stay active during your day. The only reason that I didn’t give the ring 5 stars is because it would awesome to have more insight on your sleeping data like REM-NREM. This ring and its functionality wins over any watch fitness tracker however if you are looking for more into detail complex data and you don’t mind sleeping with a watch there better options for you.

### 5/5 — Super fitness tool

*2019-03-10, version 2.2.1*

I have been running my motiv ring for 100 days. The ring is great! Very durable. I do wear gloves at the gym and when doing mechanical work to save my hands and the ring benefits from this. I have read reviews saying the ring scratches easy. Not wanting to destroy it I consciously keep it safe.

The ring charges fast and easy every three days. Takes an hour or so from dead empty.

The ring is very water proof. I have mine in saunas, steam rooms and pools for several hours per week. So far it’s worked perfect.

The application is very good and provides a lot of useful information.

The app of course could be much better. It would be nice if it would work across multiple devices like iPhone and iPad. It would be nice if multiple rings could work on one app. It would be nice to be able to export my data to another fitness app. The app seems to be developing toward this but nothing works yet.

I am very impressed with the new info I have on my health and fitness due to the motive ring. Being able to teach heart rate for activities like workouts, sauna, and eating different foods is very enlightening.

Sleep tracker works great and provides excellent info on how much and quality of sleep. It is interesting to see the effects of foods, deserts and exercise on sleep patterns.

I would definitely buy this ring again.

### 5/5 — Waterproof and Unobtrusive

*2019-03-10, version 2.2.1*

I’ve tried three other trackers, and now the Motiv. The biggest plus: it’s waterproof! I don’t have to remember to take it off to do dishes, swim, or shower. As a ring, I find it easier to wear all the time. It is subtle in appearance and goes with any outfit without looking like a fitness tracker. It might be a bit clunky for some people as the ring is a thick band, but I find it comfortable and totally forget I’m wearing it. It charges via USB which I like better than having to change & dispose of batteries. By monitoring heart rate as well as steps, Motiv has helped me improve my workouts, and changing the target heart rate over time as my fitness level improved kept me on track. I also like that it will ask “Were you active?” for any times of extended increased heart rate: apparently rush hour traffic and dental visits are particularly stressful for me, lol. Sleep tracking and resting heart rate is an added bonus, and I find that data interesting even though it was not what I bought this tracker for. This ring has really worked well for me, a valuable tool in my overall health & fitness program.

### 5/5 — I LOVE THIS RING!!!!

*2019-03-10, version 2.2.1*

I have worn the ring 24/7 since last fall and could not be happier! Convenient, accurate and tracks everything I need it to track. The sleep tracking is a great feature.
I am thinking about getting another one for a different finger (since I wear it 24/7 I can wear different jewelry with different finger access) but am kind of hoping they add a gold tone option before I do.
Fabulous idea and fabulous product. A change lasts between three and four days and it fully charges in about 90 minutes-and you get alerts to tell you to charge AND when it is done. Length of activity, steps, intensity, heart rate, respiration, miles, sleep (and FYI) accurate to the minute...this product is AMAZING!!!

### 5/5 — Love my Motiv

*2019-03-10, version 2.2.1*

I prepaid for my motiv before it was in production, and I haven’t regretted it for a second. I have worn it daily instead of my wedding ring. Even though I’m active, I find the sleep tracker is the most helpful for me. I’m constantly amazed that it can tell when I’m asleep vs just not moving.

It does a fine job of counting steps and tracking runs, but I’m afraid it is next to useless for biking. Something about the handlebars, gloves and bumps make it fail to track my heart rate effectively. And I definitely don’t recommend wearing it at the gym. Heavy bars and dumbbells would destroy the finish - possibly crush the ring. Speaking of finish, that is one complaint: It gets scratched way too easily. I baby this thing and it’s still pretty thrashed. Doorknobs will take the finish right off.

For a while my skin was getting irritated by the sensor, but these days it’s fine. I bought a size that was a bit snug. Now it fits fine and it seems to track consistently.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Do not buy!!!

*2021-06-28, version 2.3.8*

I bought this ring years ago when they first came on the scene. Customer support was great back then. I had to get a replacement ring and had no problems. Back then.

Lately the app seems buggy, all my years of info has completely disappeared, I am unable to sign in and there is absolutely no support! The phone number is disconnected, the website is all but dead only offering a user manual. They promise to keep app support but there is none to be found. My guess is this new company called Proxy is phasing out this brand completely. I just think it’s rude to do so with no warning or communication with the customers you acquired with the merger. That looks like bad business Proxy! Feel free to contact me if I am incorrect! Although I am content with my purchase since I was able to get years of use, I would highly NOT recommend purchasing this product now!

### 1/5 — V2.0 of app is awful

*2018-10-24, version 2.0.4*

Major step backwards with the new version of the app. Design-wise I preferred the old incarnation. New home screen is too busy; too hard to see the key metrics (for me HR and steps). Rings don’t add insight.

However, much more critical is the face that it doesn’t update reliably at all! I’ve synched my ring via twist three times in the last ten minutes — blue LED on ring has lit up each time. Yet there’s no visible indication of a synch on the app (old version showed a progress bar), and last synch is shown as 14 hours ago.

As others have noted in previous reviews, as cool as the Motiv ring is, if it doesn’t reliably synch, it’s useless. The inability of a forced synch via the app is a big miss, as the twisting mechanism is finicky to say the least. But if the twist doesn’t update the app either, then the user is really hosed.

### 1/5 — Horrible App makes this 10x overpticed

*2018-10-20, version 1.7.3*

Like other reviews, great form factor and ridiculously poor app. Non interactive, nothing is clickable to provide more data and charts for steps, heart rate etc. syncing is a pain when it could be a simple click in the app, no real time or on demand heart rate monitoring. For $200 you don’t get much. Should have gotten a fitbit. On top of that their support set a time to speak to me to get my feedback to improve the app but they did not call in the 4hr time slot we agreed on and I waited. When I sent them an email to ask why there was no response, I sent another email and was told they got very busy. I don’t expect this company to last very long with such a poor app which in current state would not have been worth even launching. Useless

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2018-08-02, version 1.7.1*

Love the actual ring and not wearing a wrist band but the app is terrible. My 9.99 misfit flash works better and every other tracker I’ve ever used. Very underwhelming, unreliable and disappointing. Syncing is quite a chore a lot of times. Provides no real useful information and feels a bit depressing, unexciting with no feedback or personal coaching like other apps. Step count is highly exaggerated, have no idea where these numbers come from. Walk down the hall and asks me if I was active for xx minutes, uhh, no, just walked for a minute or two. I like a step chart, not just the number, every other app in the world has a step chart. Cannot even edit sleep when it shows I didn’t sleep at all. Really?! When it tracks my sleep times it is accurate, but too basic, no in depth analysis. This company wants to be filet mignon when it’s cheap hamburger. They obviously don’t have the right engineers to produce an awesome app to justify the price of this ring. The problem I have is they keep acting like everything is great and wonderful and unicorns. If they are wearing this ring, they know it’s not great and needs a lot of work. A do over.

**Developer response:** We are happy to hear you love the Motiv Ring but its features and UI are not what you’ve expected. We'd be happy to hear your ideas and what you'd like to see in the app, please feel free to send us an email to support@mymotiv.com. We would love to hear from you as we are actively seeking to improve.
Motiv tests accuracy against foot pods which are the best source of “truth” for steps and compares performance to popular wrist-based trackers. (Read more about the steps here:https://bit.ly/2nqWh0E) We designed Motiv Ring to track your sleep seamlessly and consistently. Our app was designed to give you information that’s meaningful and actionable, not just a bunch of data points you don’t know what to do with. If you provide us with a phone number, we are happy to give you a callback and walk you through the Sleep and Step features. We are here to help!

### 1/5 — Great device; sub-par app.

*2018-07-30, version 1.7.1*

I love the ring itself but hate this app, it has nearly no functionality and doesn't integrate with Apple's Health app so I can't even get my valuable data into somewhere useful. All I want to see is my heart rate throughout the day and correlate it with calendar events or locations and activity but the app basically waters down all that info and only shows you snippets of data around events it believes are "activities".

The hardware is great but they really need a hand on the unintuitive and low functionality app.

Update: it now integrates with healthkit but stability is horrible. Continuously hangs, their redesign is ugly and non-intuitive, honestly I just wish I could connect this to my Nokia/Withings app instead. Switching to the Steel HR only because Motiv software is horrendous even though I much prefer the ring form factor :(

### 2/5 — Improving app or hardware?

*2020-03-18, version 2.3.5*

Loved my ring when I first got it. Now it doesn’t hold charge, to the point where it will die while I’m sleeping so my sleep isnt being tracked accurately. Syncing is hit or miss. I’m spinning and spinning and spinning my ring like 30+ times before it starts to sync manually.

Absolutely no improvements in the app even after filling out surveys they send. Like another user posted, why can’t we just manually input my time versus having to drag the bars which is hard to do? Workouts on the app don’t ever load so I’m not even sure why that’s there. Notifications barely work and honestly with all the competition out there, notifications don’t tell me much nor are they motivating me to move.

Eventually I may need to retire this ring although I LOVED it at the beginning. The hardware I get, normal wear and tear since Im wearing to the gym and use weights and machines (it went from matte black to shiny black), but Im just not sure if there is any effort to at least make the app better.

### 2/5 — Where’s the data?

*2019-01-11, version 2.1.0*

I’ve worn my Motiv ring for 24 hours now and while I love the idea and ring design, I am completely underwhelmed with the app performance. It’s constantly updating my current heart rate, so why can’t I see that information? What about HRV, another very important stat for heath? I love to dig into the data and see my trends, and there isn’t a way to do that, only one point per day for a heart rate.

For sleep, there is also very limited data being presented. For examples of good sleep “cards” please see the Garmin and Oura apps. It does at least pick up my sleep time well and was close to my Garmin for time slept.

So far the steps have been very close to my garmin, but during an activity the Motiv ring was about 30% higher in calories burned. I will continue to test these devices against each other as well as against the Oura ring for functionality and insight.

I’m sorry if this seems review harsh, but for a jump forward in tech gear, this is a huge step back in actual technology. Such cool gear should have an as equally sophisticated app. I hope the advances are coming soon.

### 2/5 — Great when it works! But it doesn’t work for long.

*2018-09-02, version 1.7.2*

The bottom line: I have twice exchanged my ring after it stopped working. I am now on my third ring, and that now is doing weird things like showing 0% battery charge on the app when I know it has plenty of charge.

I am giving two stars because I think they have done a great job with the design, and when the ring works, I think it does a decent job. I'm not crazy about the app itself but nothing's perfect.

I got my ring last December, and it worked fine until May, when it suddenly died. To Motiv's credit, their customer service was responsive and I was able to exchange the ring. That ring lasted less than a month before it stopped working. This time, the ring itself didn't die, but there was some weird bug where I couldn't get it to synch. Again, Motiv exchanged it. By that point I was out of patience, so I waited a couple months before giving it another go. I started wearing my third new ring a couple of weeks ago and already it's doing weird stuff that makes it unreliable as a tracker. Now, I'm sure I could exchange the ring again, but I think I'm done.

I think trackers like this are probably the future, but I guess the technology is just not there yet to make it reliable.

### 3/5 — Really enjoyed the ring

*2021-07-15, version 2.3.8*

I’ve had this ring for a few years now. I like the freedom of using a ring for tracking instead of a bulky band. There are a few issues I’ve had. I don’t like to have my ring constantly trying to sync to my phone. I don’t keep Bluetooth on unless I’m actually using it. There’s no way to tell the ring to only sync manually. Over this past year I’ve noticed a huge drop in battery life. What usually was fine for 3 days is now a day and a half tops. Less than a day if I’m super active. Now that Motiv is no longer there isn’t anyone to contact regarding this. I’ve had to buy extra chargers second hand just to have a charger with my at my house, desk and car. Lastly now I’m having issues with my ring syncing properly. It will constantly blink after it’s connected and then turn off. The only work around is to place it on the charger and constantly monitor the app until it’s synced. I hope the new company will consider improving this ring but I think ultimately it’s going to end up as dead tech.

### 3/5 — Support issue

*2020-05-21, version 2.3.5*

I was super happy about this tool, I was looking for a small tracker that would not be a wrist version so I could continue to wear my watch. It was perfect, and did just what I needed it to do.
I’ve been having issues with it for about 6 months, with the ring not capturing all data for the entire day and the battery draining very quickly, in less than the time suggested by the developer.
So I recently contacted the company for support. This was, unfortunately for me, after the 1 year warranty.
They were responsive and tried to be helpful by email in giving me some troubleshooting options, which I followed, but mentioned in each reply that they would not be able to replace my unit due to the 1 yr warranty.
I was over the warranty by 3.5 months, and could not get a real solution to my problem.
Most recently, for 4 days back to back, the ring has not logged any activity whatsoever even at 100% battery charge. This is now at 16 months of wearing it., 4 months past the warranty.
So my recommendation to new owners is to make sure you contact the company right away if you have issues, within the warranty timeframe, because after that, there’s not much they will do for you. And this was not cheap.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — An elegant, stealth-health wearable.

*2019-08-10, version 2.3.2*

I have a rose gold version on my little finger. It gives you most of the data you would get from a wrist wearable and is far far less bulky. If you like that idea or think that watches should look more like Cartiers and less like g-shocks, you will bond with the Motiv immediately.
Parenthetically, on my first date with my now fiancee, I noticed she was wearing a grey Motiv. She started to give me what was no doubt a frequently rehearsed explanation. I held up my finger wearing my Motiv. She got wide-eyed and grinned. That's when I first knew we were going to be special. We're getting married in June.

### 5/5 — Great activity tracker and ring!

*2019-08-06, version 2.3.2*

I really enjoy the rain I have. It tracks my heart rate very well and also allows me to check my sleep. It syncs up well with Apple’s heart rate monitor app and provides valuable sleep information to other apps.
It really does last about three days on one single charge, and does not take very long to charge at all.
The only thing I would remind people as that it is made of titanium and it can’t scratch if you are working out with weights, so cover it and some sort of protective tape if you want to avoid scuffs and scratches.

I’ve put this thing through the “ring-er” and I just love how waterproof and useful it actually is. I don’t have to worry about taking care of it or taking it off when I go to wash my hands or take a shower

### 5/5 — Best Product and Support

*2019-08-02, version 2.3.2*

I am one of the first group of users of this exotic ring. I want to give my honest review. The original ring came with short battery life, and the Motiv people acknowledged it. But they replaced the ring with short time lapse. I had been wearing the new ring for less than a year. However, it stopped functioning abruptly a week ago. I emailed Motiv, and they would send me a replacement; their engineering team will figure out what was the cause. The ring had been tracking my activities with accuracy.
I played tennis (three to four days, each time two to three hours) and the ring recorded every my bodily pulses, including active minutes, steps, miles, calories, and heart beating. I connected with my iPhone’s Application, and it gave my heart beat with original graphic renderings. Also, it showed my sleeping pattern: it told me my restless minutes.
I strongly recommend the Motiv Ring: it works for tracking all activities. You do not have to remind yourself how to record your pulses. It does for you.
And importantly, the Motiv has the ”Best Customer Service.” They are there to support you. You can trust them.

### 5/5 — Married to my ring

*2019-07-03, version 2.3.2*

I am on my second ring, and in spite of a few glitches, I love my ring. I enjoy the wearability, the function, and the idea of not having to wear a larger piece to track my activities.
I went so far as to match a pair of stacking rings on either side of the black ring. I frequently get asked about the unusual combination, which gives me a chance to taut the ring.
Kudos to the service department for handling any complaint I have had , and replacing my first ring when something went wrong. All in all I am quite pleased with the technology.
I would ask that they add Housework as a choice of activities, instead of using “other”...

### 5/5 — Amazing and talkworthy device

*2019-07-02, version 2.3.2*

I’ve had a Motiv for over a year now and I intend to keep one into the future. I have nothing to do with Motive personally, professionally or financially; I’m commenting strictly as a user.

First, it is a very convenient and consistent tool for me to measure progress in heart rate, RHR and sleep. It also adequately measures steps.

Second, it’s a conversation starter. I’m sure sometime soon it will be as ubiquitous as other similar devices, but Motiv really got something right by going to the ring configuration. When I show people what it is, they are always fascinated and impressed. It says that I’m tracking and using new technology.

Lastly, I think it integrates with my iPhone in some sort of feedback process to power the ring’s measurements. Not sure; hazarding a guess. Ingenious if true. It’s clever, consistent, useful and talkeorthy.

See for yourself

### 5/5 — Exceptional service and quality!

*2019-05-20, version 2.3.1*

My husband and I bought rings at the same time. A year later my husband’s ring was still going strong but mine would not hold a charge beyond an hour. I loved the ring and the app so much that I went ahead and ordered and paid for a new one. At the same time, I told Motiv support about the issue. They responded immediately, refunded my purchase, and sent the new ring all within one day! I am impressed with any company that cares this much about the customer experience.

### 5/5 — Great product & app!!

Love my motiv ring!! It is one of the only fitness trackers I found myself actually wearing continuously. Customer service is GREAT! They were more than willing to help me out with my issues and make up for it. After all the, the ring is not cheap at $200 but Motiv has proven to be a very trustworthy company so I believe the cost of the product is well worth the investment.

App is designed very well, my only suggestions would be to have the app keep track of health stats so that we can monitor our progress over longer periods on time. Also, an online fitness/health community for motiv users would be awesome!

### 5/5 — Best investment in my health

I tell everyone about this ring from friends and coworkers to baristas. After over 18 months wearing the ring, I’m still excited about tracking my activity. The app makes it easy to see progress and goals - and that helps motivate me to keep moving. With this motivation, I lost more weight than I expected. Tracking my heart rate is also helpful for other health issues. I’m hoping the app will soon graph total minutes week over week so I can also track what weeks/months I stayed most active And continue to improve upon my commitment to my health. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Fantastic Product

I’ve had my Motiv Ring for a while now, 3 months I think. It’s been great. It’s small and subtle, less flashy than a smart watch, which is really nice. Battery life remains stable at about 3 days from 100% until 0% charge. The biggest issue I’ve had with the ring is the scratching. I don’t know whether it’s just paint or if the metal is wearing weirdly, but as I go through life, building things, fixing things, (and yes) breaking things, the bottom of the ring has scratched to a silver. I have the black ring, and the wearing doesn’t look bad (I actually kind of like it) but it may be an issue for others. Only realizing now that this is supposed to be an app review... oops.

The app is great! The user interface is friendly, intuitive and handsome. The ways in which Motiv categorizes the data is really insightful, and the step-tracking is great! Bluetooth sync is easy and painless, although there is sadly no way to force-sync from the app. Only from the ring itself. All-in-all, really happy with both the product and the app!!!

### 5/5 — Totally in Love ❤️❤️❤️

I love my Motiv ring. It’s everything that I need in a fitness tracker. It’s lightweight. It tracks my steps. It monitors my heart rate. It’s also tracks my sleep. Best of all, it’s a RING!!! I can wear a watch again!! I have used their customer service and not have had any issues with them whatsoever. The app I’m still learning about but it does have a premium area that has workouts for you. I don’t use it so I can’t say anything about it. But it’s there for those who might need it. Motiv should give me a job because I tell everyone how great this ring is!!! Thanks!
