Resulted in me giving up and going elsewhere ### 1/5 — Taken payment from bank but APP says payment failed TWICE!!! *2021-03-01, version 3.7* Ordered a Burger King from Knutsford service North via the app to take advantage of the TASTY2 code which gave you £2 off your first order. My bank details came up Confirming that the payment had been successful then the app decided that “Payment had Failed”. I hadn’t noticed this on my first attempt so was trying to find a way to contact the app owners to report the issue but there isn’t any way to do it. I then thought (after speaking to the Burger King staff) that I needed to receive some sort of email receipt (the guy didn’t speak very good English and got a little confused but was as helpful as he could be). Tried again on the app again bank confirmed payment had gone through but the app decided it didn’t!!! I don’t know if this was due to the order stations being not working (12:25pm ish 1st March 21) but I’m now £12 out of pocket and no food. I want my refund!!!!!! ### 1/5 — Buggy app *2021-02-28, version 3.7* Takes forever to load, have to do stuff all over again and times out when I make an account. After 10mins of trying to set it up and got it working then would not take the discount code as it said it has been used!!! 100% waste of time!!! Removed from my phone! ### 1/5 — Not so tasty2 *2021-01-20, version 3.7* I have just visited the Southwaite Moto Costa and spent several minutes trying to negotiate the App to order a Large Skinny Latte with the intention of receiving £2 off my first order, as advertised. After a previous bad experience when I could not even get to the menu last week at a Moto on the M3, I was able to get to the menu at Southwaite. I managed to negotiate the various options on the Costa menus and it was only when hot to the checkout page that the infuriation began... The App comes up with a ‘collection only’ box, (even if you choose ‘eat in’ - please note I tried both ‘eat in’ and ‘collection’ options various times), which is fair enough in these times. You get to choose the day & time for the collection of your order. The only problem is, it does not past the (only) option for today, let alone giving an option for a time, because the App does not allow a ‘today’ option - it just freezes as if to say - you want it today? Of course I would, but you are unable to do so, even though you are outside the Costa kiosk trying to order it. Upon showing to the lady at the till, she could see the issue and resolved it without using the App. I only hope that Costa are not now going to have to make have a dozen coffees for no customers! I know this App is new and there are bound to be teething issues, but if you are unable to order anything, then it is pretty useless... I am reluctant to let technology beat me, so shall try again in the near future, where I’ll post an update. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2021-01-19, version 3.7* Stopped off for a break on a long drive, decided to grab a burger and after several attempts still kept on getting timeout messages. Must have made a dozen attempts to order, but kept saying my session had timed out even when clicking straight through a simple order. Doesn’t remember login details using Keychain API, nor can the app jump between text fields when entering data, forcing a manual scroll and tap. Doesn’t utilise stored card details for pre-filling payment details. ### 1/5 — New app. *2020-09-03, version 3.1.4* Rubbish. The information is now clear and concise and on one page. Glad they got someone who actually knew what they were doing for this rebuild.
