## What is MotoCurve?

MotoCurve is a free motorcycle GPS: a curvy route planner and turn-by-turn motorcycle navigation app for riders who'd rather take the twisty way.

Made for motorcycles, and just as good for scooters, mopeds, ADV bikes, sports cars and anyone who wants a scenic drive instead of the interstate.

WHERE IT WORKS
• United States, Canada and Mexico: every route style, border crossings included
• Europe: plan and navigate the fastest route

Pick a start and a destination, choose how you want to ride, and MotoCurve builds the route:
• Fastest – live traffic, gets you there quickest
• Balanced – good roads in reasonable time
• Curvy – twisty roads, avoids highways
• Extra Curvy – for when the ride is the whole point

PLAN THE RIDE
• Drag the route through the roads you want with via and shaping points
• Add gas and food stops along the way
• Round trips that bring you home on different roads
• Multi-day trips, planned day by day
• Import and export GPX files
• Plan on motocurve.com, then open the route on your phone

RIDE IT
• Turn-by-turn voice navigation that names the road and the exit
• Automatic rerouting if you miss a turn
• Faster detours offered when traffic builds up
• Your speed and the speed limit on screen
• Free Ride: just ride, no route needed
• CarPlay: the route and turns on your bike's or car's screen
• Warnings ahead: speed and red-light cameras, pavement ending, a sharp bend after a fast stretch, rail crossings and long gaps with no fuel

AFTER THE RIDE
• Record your rides and look back at the summary
• Share a route with your riding group by link
• Group rides: share a code and see everyone on the map
• Garage: track your bikes, mileage and service

CRASH ALERTS
Optionally emails up to five people if the app detects a likely crash. It is not an emergency service; in an emergency, call 911.

Made by a rider, for riders. Free, no ads.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-11-06

Bigger lane arrows on the turn card, a cleaner map during navigation, and a bigger drag bar on panels.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-11-03

My Routes: sort and group your saved routes by date, name, distance, stops or collection, and pick a collection from one searchable list.
My Rides: rides are now grouped by week.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-11-02

Open GPX and KML route files with MotoCurve straight from Files, Mail, WhatsApp and other apps.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-11-01

CarPlay: turn prompts spoken from the car screen, keeps navigating with the phone locked, clearer streets, lane arrows, traffic colours and a Clear button. A thin trail shows where you've been, on the map and while navigating. Fixed a long 'Recalculating' at the start of navigation. Speed reads 0 when stopped. Rides saved offline upload later.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-18

Navigation fixes: the screen stays on while you ride, you can drag and zoom the map during navigation (it goes back to following you after 15 seconds), and route recalculation is faster and more reliable.
