## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 4.0.0 — 2026-08-06

Your Rides, on the Big Screen

MotoFlow 4.0 brings your rides to iPad — and lets you bring rides in and send them out, right from iPhone and iPad.

• A Real iPad App: Relive your rides on the big screen. The ride list sits in a sidebar with the map and your stats side by side, and tapping a photo opens it in a floating viewer that keeps the map and stats right there beside it.

• A Layout That's Yours: Drag the divider to balance the map and stats, hide the stats panel when you just want the map, and pull the ride list wider. MotoFlow remembers your widths.

• Bring Rides In: Import GPX files right on your iPhone or iPad — open one from Files, Mail, or AirDrop and send it straight to MotoFlow, with duplicate detection so you never get doubles and live progress you can cancel. Importing several at once is part of the Open Road Edition.

• Send Rides Out: Export any ride as a GPX file from your iPhone or iPad, or pick several — or all of them — and send them together as a single zip. On iPad, select multiple rides at once to export or delete in one go.

The way a ride deserves to be relived.

### 3.3.0 — 2026-06-16

Sharper Rides, Smoother App

MotoFlow 3.3 sharpens your ride data, speeds up big rides, and makes it easy to rate the app and reach us.

• Cleaner Pauses and Stops: Pausing and resuming near where you stopped now keeps your two legs distinct on the map, in your distance and elevation totals, and in exported GPX. The cluster of jittery points from shuffling the bike at a standstill is trimmed at the start and end of every ride — genuine slow riding is always kept.

• Believable Top Speeds: The speed graph and your recorded top speed shrug off GPS glitches after a tunnel or signal loss — no more phantom readings — and stay scaled to your real peak.

• Smarter Imports: GPX files without recorded speeds now get smooth, realistic speeds from the track shape (Garmin Tread App™ imports especially), and files from some Garmin exporters keep their true recording times instead of the time you imported them.

• Faster Big Rides: Large rides open, chart, and export noticeably faster — the app no longer re-processes an unchanged ride each time you view it, and browsing large photo collections stays responsive.

• Rate and Reach Us: Rate MotoFlow right from Settings, send feedback with your device, system, and app version already filled in, and jump to the MotoFlow website — all from Settings.

• More Reliable: Deleting several rides now removes all of them, Settings opens without freezing, your Apple Watch tells you if a command didn't reach your iPhone, and a brief database hiccup no longer crashes the app at launch.

Same ride. Truer numbers.

### 3.2.0 — 2026-05-21

Map Your Way While Riding

MotoFlow 3.2 puts you in charge of how the map moves while you ride:

• Map Orientation Modes: Keep the map locked to north, or let it rotate to follow your direction of travel. Pick the default in Settings → Map Display.

• Compass Snap-Back: A new compass button on the recording map snaps you back into your chosen orientation after you've panned or twisted it. Two-finger rotation still works whenever you want a quick look around.

• Rock-Solid Location Lock: The map-follow lock now stays on while you ride and only releases when you actually pan with your finger. Pinch to zoom no longer kicks you out of follow mode.

Same ride. Your view.

### 3.1.0 — 2026-05-15

Smarter Stops, Honest Durations

MotoFlow 3.1 makes your ride data match how you actually rode—accurate timing, cleaner maps, and a more responsive in-ride experience:

• Riding Time vs Total Time: Ride details now show both at a glance, so coffee stops and traffic lights don't inflate how long you "rode." Average speed and duration sorting use riding time too.

• Cleaner GPS at Stops: New automatic cleanup collapses GPS jitter when you're parked or waiting at lights into a single anchor on the map. Distance, average speed, elevation, and heatmap density all match what you see drawn.

• Smart Map Follow: The map auto-disables follow mode when you pan during recording and now preserves your chosen zoom level. Tap the location button to re-center—no more fighting the map.

• Accurate GPX Round-Trips: Re-importing your exported GPX rides now reports the same Riding Time, Total Time, and Average Speed as the original recording. Pauses are preserved as track segments.

• Reliable Imports: GPX files from Calimoto and similar apps no longer import with inflated durations — and existing rides with bad imported durations are quietly corrected on first launch.

• Sharper Recording: GPS spikes at the start of a ride and right after resuming from a pause are filtered out for a cleaner first kilometer.

Same ride. Truer numbers.

### 3.0.2 — 2026-03-23

Correct Units for All Regions

Fixed an issue where distances and speeds could display in kilometers instead of miles for users with imperial unit settings, such as those in the UK.
