## What is Motor Club?

The Allstate Motor Club application enables any user to quickly and easily request roadside assistance to be sent to their location.  Leverage Allstate’s nationwide 24/7 roadside service provider network and your phone’s GPS capabilities to route assistance to your location.  Service providers are qualified and satisfaction is assured.

The application is designed to also help Allstate Motor Club members access the benefits of their membership plan.  But you don’t have to be a member to use the app.

Download the app and it will:

Track Your Location (or enter address yourself)
Suggest Vehicle Drop-Off Locations
Find Nearest Allstate Selected Service Providers - with shortest estimated arrival times
Show Service Provider Info – company name, phone & technician name
Give Status Updates – shows your technician’s whereabouts on map
Alert Your Family – service sends your family or friends an email on your situation
Provide Live Customer Service Backup – 24/7 in case you need additional help with your request

1. Too many redundant security checks and repeated re-logins when switching menu. 2. The app shows up to 5 recuse per year.   But their system says only up to 3. They would not honor what the app shows. The customer service manner was bad. They refused to honor the fourth rescue of mine as well as the 1st rescue of the additional member. They said the 3 rescues coverage applies to both members combined.  You don’t get what you pay for. Not worth joining the club.

This companies billing practices are ridiculous. They will try to run card once and if it does not clear, because it is turned off in my case, the roadside coverage ends immediately. Then you must wait 3 days for coverage to begin after the payment clears. Totally unreasonable to not offer a grace period or even try it later in the day.

I requested a jump start for my car through the mobile app at 315 on a Sunday afternoon.  I was charged 95.00 and never got service.  I am a member and should never have been charged a dime. I was told someone would arrive between 438-508.  At 509 I called the called the tow company and he said he was still 30 min away.  I called Allstate back and they told me the call had been cancelled and that they would send another company but it would be well over a 50 minute wait.  I have never used them before and never will again.  Meanwhile I am still out 95.00.  And my car is still dead.  Going back to AAA.

Why do I have to sign in each time I open the app?  And every time I go back to the Home Screen?  Can’t there be a Face ID option for logging in initially?  It seems like an easy fix Allstate.

I needed roadside assistance for a flat tire. My benefits are active and I’m a member of the Allstate motor club but when requesting assistance, they said I did not have benefits. Even after providing proof, I still had to pay out of pocket. I don’t know if this is the fault of a buggy system or Allstate stealing my money, either way, it’s their fault.

Do not use this app.  Just don’t.  It will break on you and either leave you without access to help, forget you’re a member entirely, or screw up billing.  This is the most broken, janky app I’ve ever have the displeasure of using.  

The roadside assistance website is MUCH more reliable.  Just bookmark it in your browser instead of using this abysmal excuse for an app.
