I rarely pay for apps but I’m going to come payday. It’s not just supercar spotting, it’s completing sets, every generation of 5 series or 911 etc etc. I’ve found myself using it on the bus home every day. Works very smooth and hasn’t set a foot wrong yet and addictive! Strongly recommend. I like both the concept of collecting Pokémon and adding it to a deck. But if you include the car part and adding it to a dex it is cool. I have gone through about 10 apps before this one, looking for the perfect car catcher like app. All the other ones are paid, and this one is completely free! 10/10. The style makes it feel like you’re playing a retro game, and the functionality is awesome. The customer service is great, and again, best app in this genera. Def recommend to get it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 2/5 — Good app, but misleading *2026-08-16* I think it’s a good app and of course they need some stream of income to not only keep it up on the App Store but use the ai detection as well, but I think it’s somewhat scummy they don’t tell users that they’re basically on a free trial until they hit 100, and 100 doesn’t take long to hit. I was having fun, spotting cars I’d see at shows and in the wild and suddenly I had to pony up either $3 a month or $25 forever. While not huge sums of money it’s (in my opinion) asking too much from people for a car spotting game and not a good practice to suddenly state that users have to pay once they hit a certain number. As stated previously, these apps understandably need to make money to continue operating, but there are different and better ways to make it. I’m sure there’s a good bit of people who’d be fine with donating money, or locking additional features behind a paywall, but the fact that it’s basically unplayable past 100 cars (unless you delete cars you’ve spotted, but what’s the point of doing that?) is a good way to drive users off of your app. It was fun for a while, but now I feel like I’ve wasted my time on this app TLDR: Good app, but the fact that it’s a free trial game without telling users isn’t a good thing to do ### 2/5 — Have to pay for a lot *2026-08-10* After 100 cars you have to delete old ones and it doesn’t show if you already got them or have to pay for more ### 3/5 — Limited fun *2026-08-16* I love the idea of this app but a monthly subscription for this app (or 30€ lifetime) is not worth it in my option. 10-15€ lifetime would be the absolute most I would pay. Also it does not recognize German branded vehicles that well. I know, the difference between the Audis A S and RS ist that much but editing a scan would be handy. ### 4/5 — Cool app *2026-08-18* The AI they use to figure out the car or truck type is accurate enough in most cases. Every now and then it would get the car brand and model wayyyyy wrong but over all it’s mostly accurate. (Keeps confusing Mustang dark horse for the Mustang GTD, thought an eco boost Mustang was some sort of Mercedes) to get rid of that problem make sure to take really good pictures or the AI will get tripped up. ### 4/5 — Great but Cost *2026-08-13* Great game overall. I downloaded a few days ago and started uploading cars. However, I noticed that the free version cuts off at 100 cars and you don’t retain your xp after having to delete cars you already uploaded. Plus it takes a while without the batch save that you have to buy also. Despite this, this game is very cool as you get to learn a lot more about cars. I love how the game shows you the car stats and the ai has been always accurate for me. I would definitely consider buying the lifetime if it came on sale. ### 4/5 — Solid game, needs anti-cheat measures *2026-08-11* I love this game, and playing against your friends is pretty much perfect, but since you can just grab pictures online and upload them, the global leaderboards can’t really be trusted. ### 4/5 — Money Req *2026-08-11* I’m not bothered by the price but seriously I can’t even have a car indexed and delete it while retaining the fact I saw it??? It would be one thing if I lost the cards but kept the fact it was indexed but instead you lose all xp, collections, and any evidence you saw the car, and you can only spot 100 total which I did in about an hour, so at least make the free functionality so I can retain my xp and the fact I saw the car, otherwise super awesome app, just a big time let down ### 4/5 — Motor Dex review *2026-08-07* Hello all, From the app I have noticed some car models doesn’t have like TATA Sierra( older version) and Škoda kushaq, Kylaq newer version.
