Even after it says the set up is a success, it goes back to the ‘start’ screen and shows no devices. Checked our house when overseas a few years back. It's a good product. But this camera I picked up at Albertsons for $25 because someone keeps vandalizing my work van. I thought it was going to have a pretty bad video quality, but it turned out to be really nice quality. Then I found out that I could change the resolution to HD. Looked even better. I use this primarily outside on an 8ft pole and I scan 360 degrees around my house. It’s not weatherproof, but I bought silicone conforming compound and I made it weather proof. The reason why people say it can’t connect is because they don’t understand how it works. It took me awhile, but I figured it out. You have to connect to the WiFi first, then send the configuration to the camera. Once that is done, you then connect your camera to it. It’s a little confusing but if you don’t do that sequence then it won’t work. For how cheap it is, it works really well. ### 5/5 — Watchdog *2018-11-20, version 1.8.3* I really only brought this camera so I could keep an eye on my dog from work. I’m really glad I did, the quality of the coloured HD is great and the night vision is really clear. I love that you can listen in and talk through the camera. The setup was super easy on the nbn, plus I’ve had no issue connecting to the camera away from home. Very clear picture and good night vision too. I love that you can control the camera and turn it remotely. Do this .... 1/ Download App 2/ Press reset to clear any old data then press on till you hear “camera start, please configure network” 3/ Open your phones WiFi network selection and connect to camera 4/ In App choose to add device by scanning the QR code. It connects easier this way. 5/ Now the device is working. Go to the settings in App and add your hone WiFi connection. Ta Da !!!!
