### 2/5 — My car

*2026-08-09, version 3.6.0*

It doesn’t seem to like that my car is an automatic transmission telling Mia or using the catalog always ends at the automatic transmission.

### 4/5 — Seems nice so far

*2026-07-27, version 3.5.0*

I downloaded it and after playing around for a couple minutes I noticed two main things. When planning you can’t add custom named or designed parts, and for the 2010 Mazda 3 there is no current sedan body style, only the hatchback
Otherwise cool so far

### 2/5 — Not customizable.

*2026-05-28, version 3.1.9*

For starters it doesn’t have a foxbody as an option and that’s probably the most basic “race car” out there and. For example if you have a 01 dodge 2500 but you’ve already swapped out the 5.9 for a 6.7 there’s no option for that it’s an okay app if you have a car that’s completely oem that’s fine but for a “race car” standing not worth it.

### 2/5 — The reason I used it is broken

*2026-05-27, version 3.1.9*

The main reason I used MOTORMIA was for the ease of use with finding mods, the ability to choose from categories and slowly get more specific then having the app help you find mods was great. Now every time I try to use it, there’s always “an error generating my recommendations” and that’s the only reason I used this app. So until it’s fixed or I get an idea as to why it’s broken I won’t use the app anymore

### 2/5 — Has potential but a little rough

*2026-05-27, version 3.1.9*

This app could be pretty cool, but the forced use of AI makes it clunky to use and or makes it straight up not useable. I cannot add a single mod to my cars because the AI doesn’t understand the requests. I am also unable to change my featured photos, I get an error every time.

### 3/5 — Don’t make everything dependent on the Ai or make it better

*2026-05-24, version 3.1.9*

You can only add parts you want by talking to the ai about it but when I tell it the part I specifically want it just talks about it and when I ask to put it on my wishlist it says it can’t do that but it gives me the option to add other parts that I didn’t ask about to my wishlist. Also when I say something or ask a question it almost completely ignores me and just asked me more questions or gives me opinions I don’t want. So please make it where I can manually do stuff and add things to my wishlist and/or majorly upgrade the Ai, especially since the whole app is based on the Ai.

### 3/5 — Good Idea, Needs more fine tuning

*2026-04-28, version 3.1.5*

The app doesn’t yet know how to account for gearing changes. Also on the parts finding section it kind of seems like it’s just a data mine. Claimed to find a limited slip diff for just a fraction of what I’ve been able to find. Then it won’t show me the part until I put in my phone number, then it still doesn’t show me the part

### 2/5 — Can be better but currently not great.

*2026-04-28, version 3.1.5*

The app works, but it kinda stops there. Everything from research to parts searching requires you to go through MIA the AI, which is slow, often inaccurate, and limit your selection. You can’t just search up a part in their database which tells me either they don’t have a database or if they do, it’s slow and clunky. For example, my car is the last production year of its generation, but the parts Mia searches for and recommends are for the first year of its generation. That’s a good 4-5 years gap, you think the same parts will work? Not always. And I noticed all the vehicle information for my car anyway are from the first production year and not my car’s year, making that “cool” comparison chart kinda useless and more of a guesswork.

Anyway, I think the idea behind the app is great! But the lack of manual search function, forced AI engagement, and cluttering screen on each page makes this app a hard no for me. I’ll just build my own mod sheet the old fashioned way: research and spreadsheet.

### 2/5 — Might have potential

*2026-04-11, version 3.1.4*

This app lacks the basic ability to check the internet for parts, compatibility or any of the forums or youtube that the devs claimed it could do in the techradar interview. The dev claims to be a car guy. Then explain why the SUVs are under the car category. Do the likes of Trackhawks, Durango SRTs, Explorer STs, BMW X Ms, Mercedes AMGs. Considering even the big 3 automakers have decided SUVs are the feature it seems odd the app is missing this category. I added my vehicle, add the lowering springs (Ebaich pro kit) that are installed . Checked them they link sent me to a listing for a set of springs for a scion frs. Not even close to the same vehicle. The app has potential but it feels like a weird fake app at this point. Even the photos of the vehicles don’t match.

### 3/5 — Needs work

*2026-04-06, version 3.1.4*

I’d used the app to keep track of my mods for my car. But the latest update made it… well, Slow and A little out dated feeling since it glitches. It’s a good app if you want to keep track of mods you have installed. But at the same time i want to add mods for my 2021 car, and i put in “AEM cold air intake” it adds a Cold air intake for a 2014 honda civic. Keep updating, great potential, not good for me in its current state

### 2/5 — Not really helpful if you know know anything.

*2026-03-22, version 3.1.2*

Honestly it’s a great concept. Its current version probably works fine for a high school kid working on a Honda civic with no plan. But if you already have a loose plan and want to you this app to help lay everything out and figure out some details on what you need. This isn’t it, it’ll get confused on a basic exhaust and just keep repeating the same questions.

### 3/5 — B

*2026-03-18, version 3.1.1*

Good app just needs more work Mia could not comprehend that my vehicle came with a different engine

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Car not available

*2026-07-26, version 3.5.0*

I have an RS trim type on my car and the only option available are s se or st and it doesn’t even have the right engine that I have. Everything I have in there is stock.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work for swapped cars.

*2026-07-22, version 3.4.1*

Definitely cannot add a Honda with a k series so I can’t even get past the initial screening on the app. Lame

### 1/5 — Do Not Get

*2026-05-22, version 3.1.8*

Every 4+ star review is just unnecessarily glazing tf outta this app. Uses AI for everything and it doesn’t even do its job correctly. Likely a data mine because my phone is burning up the SECOND I open the app. There is absolutely a better way to do this. Do not recommend.

### 1/5 — BMW N55?

*2026-05-11, version 3.1.7*

App acknowledges I have an N55 engine, as do all 2011 e90’s

For the mods I have listen and it has acknowledged:

The app says I have turbo inlets, plural

The app says I have 3” downpipe and clearly states N55 has 3.5” in the description

The app acknowledges I have an aluminum metal turbo inlet but it won’t change it from silicone

The app thinks my diverter valve is a blow off valve integrated with my chargepipe (I made this mistake on purpose when writing what I have and called it a blow off valve to intentionally see if the AI would pick up on it and correct me and correctly call it a diverter valve, and it didn’t, AI Slop)

It says my intake is an Injen SP series even after I corrected it to say it’s a WB black series

I wrote in that I have NGK spark plugs which it acknowledged, and when I wrote in later I have Delphi ignition coils it changed the spark plugs to Delphi, rid of the NGK altogether, and never added coils at all

And this was all within 10 minutes. And when I asked the app to confirm my mod list to see what it got right, it told me I didn’t have a mod list and asked if I wanted to start a list. So I scrolled up, hit “Confirm All” (not what I wanted since they were wrong) on the previous list and it saved the list, but it was so wrong. Lol.

So completely unreliable. AI Slop.

### 1/5 — Wrong options

*2026-05-11, version 3.1.7*

I have my 09 335XI selected but every time the AI goes to look for parts for my car is searches for an 05 no matter what I say no matter what is actually selected so I’ll constantly pick the wrong parts for the car.

### 1/5 — No longer works

*2026-05-08, version 3.1.6*

App just no longer loads when signing in or even creating a new account. When signing in, it just a blank black screen now. When creating a new account it lets me choose my preferences, then just loads to the same blank black screen. Disappointing.

### 1/5 — AI Slop

*2026-04-16, version 3.1.4*

If you’re a true car enthusiast, this app is going to take you nowhere fast.

The AI assistant knows jack all about upgrades and proper figments.

The suggested parts you get after putting in your info is some basic ahh stuff.

Not worth the time.

### 1/5 — Ahh app

*2026-03-17, version 3.1.1*

Cant get out the main menu either adding my email n number i dont wanna give rs out make ts a option

### 1/5 — Bad app

*2026-03-05, version 3.1.0*

Ai in the app is bad. Just keeps asking if you want to add other parts. Never recommend any parts, websites, or brands. Doesn't even have the build lists for the builds uploaded into the app by othe users. Not even an entertaining waste of time.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2026-02-15, version 3.0.6*

App used to be great and I used it everyday BUT They won’t listen to their users. The old app was a million times better. Why are there build plans that take 5min to load????? I just want to ask the ai to find parts for me and ask about different parts. This app has gotten genuinely worse over time. kinda sucks because I really liked it. Looks like I’m going to have to try their competitors.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — App and customer service

*2026-08-26, version 3.6.2*

Pretty dope app customer service is awesome I had emailed them about my shipping and less than 5 min they contacted me can’t get any better than that

### 5/5 — 2007 HONDA CIVIC

*2026-08-14, version 3.6.1*

I love this app is really cool right now. I’m tuning my car, in the future I will be buying a new engine and transmission. I would get the transmission built and I will get my engine machine worked on and this is awful automatic engine the one thing I love about this app is, I can literally just go on here and search up parts to just get my car up to the horsepower that I wanted to. I’m just doing colder intake straight pipe fuel injectors and some other small little mods. This is really cool because after doing the tune once I get the machine work done on my car and my engine is sleeved. I mean I’ll have a beast about 500 to. Maybe 750 on my automatic Honda Civic but I’m really just pushing for 500 I could do that. I’ll be pretty much good.

### 5/5 — One in a Million

*2026-08-14, version 3.6.1*

First off I wanted to say this is the best car app you will ever find. It’s a mix of ChatGPT and a mod tracker. I’ve been looking for so long for something like this! Worth it if you are a car nut and like to mod your cars! Highly worth it!!

### 5/5 — Genuinely awesome

*2026-07-26, version 3.5.0*

I’ve never written a review before, but this app definitely deserves one. It’s very convenient to be able to see all the parts that I want to get an order and it helps put them in order of when I want to use them. Eventually get to them.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-07-13, version 3.4.0*

Amazing app so far absolutely zero complaints

### 5/5 — Easy and Simple

*2026-06-14, version v3.2.0*

Great app to find some new parts for your car. I haven’t got hit with any ads or a paywall so i’m happy w it

### 5/5 — Potential to be AMAZING

*2026-04-13, version 3.1.4*

Love the app and although im only a day in I have to say im very impressed. I have a custom swapped vehicle and it still is pulling up all the correct parts without conflict which is very impressive. The AI is pretty good and hasnt had many hiccups for info request. To note a previous review all of my parts are off the shelf name brand parts so “mix and match” vs “made to work” builds flow easily imo

Few minor glitches such as photos not being able to be changed on the main profile grid for the favorite unless all other photos are deleted, the torque and HP numbers not adjusting on users side although it does update for viewers side are the only things ive come across thus far.

Lot of fun, would like to see this updated to clean up a bit. Wonder how long it takes for developers to see these notes, time will tell! (Literally lol)

### 5/5 — Best app

*2026-03-23, version 3.1.2*

Best app for looking to see what you need in your build

### 5/5 — Honestly a good car app

*2026-03-09, version 3.1.0*

Doesn’t make you watch adds for every little question or any so far, and genuinely gives good advice and prices for what you want to do with your car.

### 5/5 — Building my BMW

*2026-03-03, version 3.1.0*

This app is amazing. The options the facts. The knowledge in the tunes and all the information available. This has been the app I’ve dreamt of.
