This just started happening I don’t see an option for music or stories . Also the camera shuts off every now and then. ### 2/5 — Fine at best. *2026-08-03, version 2.1.17* It is ok. When you are on a live view it’s good at best. When you’re not? It’s a 1/5. The camera quality isn’t good. Even though I pay for the subscription the clips are incredibly short. They are grainy. For some reason it demands access to your entire camera roll to save photos/videos which is wild. Every other app you can either limit access, or use “private access” where you can see them but they aren’t shared. Why does Motorola want to access 50k photos from the last 15 years of every moment of my life for me to download a clip? It’s insane. Just feels like the app is from 2005 and not catching up to the rest of us in 2026. ### 2/5 — On when it works *2026-07-05, version 2.1.14* It does what I need it to when it actually works. But more often than not I have to close out of the app completely, take myself off of WiFi get back into the app, wait, then maybe it will work. It’s hard to read the temperature on the app, as it’s backed by gray shading, which is hard to see in night vision. Also what is going on with that temperature gauge??? Always off by at least 3 degrees. It’s saying my son’s room is 80 degrees right now when the conditioner is on and set to 71. Plenty of better products out there on the market. This product simply does not work. It is dangerous and falsely advertised as having an app on your phone the functions when it regularly does not connect to the camera- like every day. You don’t receive notifications in a regular basis bc it is constantly disconnecting. Baby is basically unattended if you are not right near the little screen device with antenna & bright lights & no real dimming features. That thing also disconnects and beeps waking me up about 1x a night when my baby’s room is right next to mine. Can’t get the app to connect right now- deleted the app again and redownloaded it (I do this at least 2x a week) and it still won’t work. Even if I close all my other apps and restart the wifi the thing wont stay connected. It freezes randomly, didn’t record movements properly, and its user interface needs a redesign bad. ### 1/5 — Absolute Trash *2026-07-17, version 2.1.14* This is the Windows 95 of baby cam monitors. Never works, despite our home with extremely high-quality Internet connection and Wi-Fi. This product is sloppy trash. I suppose they put it on the market just to try to get some half-added income. They probably figure those people will buy the hardware before they download the app and realize it is absolutely unusable. We received a 1510 as a gift. The reception is awful (we lived in 700 square feet and were constantly losing reception), the “lost video” signal could wake the dead, the neon green light indicating noise lights up the entire room, and the temperature gauge is no less than 5 degrees wrong at all times, but usually more. It works great! I especially love the app. When not at home, including out of state, with the motion notification, I am still able to see our baby when sleeping in their crib. The picture & video recording is a LOVELY bonus👌🏻🩷. I do wish the battery on the remote monitor would last a bit longer but we’ve had it for 3years. A bit of longevity loss is expected. The charging instead of batteries more than makes up for it.
