## What is Motqin?

Motqin is the companion app for Quran memorization circles (halaqat). Teachers record attendance and recitation from their phone during class, students and parents follow the memorization plan and progress day by day, and families get instant alerts for absences and recitation results.

Motqin works with the mosques, charities and Quran centers that use the Motqin platform. Accounts are created by the organization that runs the circle; there is no open sign-up in the app. If you don't have an account yet, contact your circle's administration.

For teachers
• Today: your circle, your students and each student's plan in one place
• One-tap attendance: present, late, absent, excused, or "all present"
• Plan-based recitation: new memorization, near and far review, with mistakes noted per passage
• Works on weak connections: records are saved on the device and sent automatically when you're back online
• Student list with quick call or WhatsApp to the student or parent
• Exam grading from your phone
• Messages to students or parents

For students and parents
• Today's plan, achievements and recitation history
• Attendance history
• Points and rewards store
• Exam results and fees
• Instant notifications for absence, recitation and fees

The app interface is in Arabic (right-to-left) and supports light and dark mode.

Your privacy
Student data is visible only to authorized people in the student's own organization: a teacher sees their circle, and a student or parent sees only their own records. No ads and no tracking.
