I’ve been playing it for 6 months straight now. I have such a fun time playing this game but I only have one problem with it. The rewards you see for milestones never actually get rewarded. There’s supposed to be 3 for every section you complete, yet they never actually pay out. I click on it and it does nothing. I took a screenshot shot of my rewards when I know I was in 11th place. I took a lot of time to place well in the event and instead received rewards for an extremely low place. Not my favorite, but fine. However, there are random ads that just pop up while I am looking at my park trying to learn the game that are unbearable. It happens constantly. The ads are extremely long and also freeze the game sometime. When I first got the game, i had considered buying the upgraded ad free version if i liked it. However, the ads are so bad and constant that idk if i like the game because it’s near unplayable. So funny enough, the ads are why I will not buy the ad free version (and why I am quitting before i got started). ### 4/5 — Fun (if you’ve got the money) *2025-03-22, version 3.2.29* Mountain Bike Tycoon is a great game. My iPhone 13 does lag and slightly overheat at times despite the lowest quality settings, but is an amazing tycoon with lots of unique aspects and features to it. The ‘No Ads’ purchase is a literal lifesaver for this app, and I’ve managed to complete majority of the game in about a year because of the removal of ads. However, for those not willing to spend any money, this game will take years upon years to complete and I cannot imagine how extremely hard it is to complete with ads. Some ways I think this game can improve is by making resources more common, prices slightly lowered overall, more limited-time events (please something other than that Red Bull event), and tweaks to the way the game runs and functions to appeal to the user. I’m about 95% done with this game, but I’m hoping there’s a major update on the way, like that Arctic world on the map. ### 2/5 — Eh *2025-03-21, version 3.2.29* Good game but can’t watch any videos to get extra stuff they want u to spend money ### 2/5 — Events don’t give rewards *2025-03-21, version 3.2.29* I shamelessly played a ton of an event and held my first place slot so that I could get the event with gold and chests. The event ended and no rewards were given there was no place to claim so I went to contact support and the button doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2025-03-18, version 3.2.29* My biggest issue with this game is I bought a $6 add on for the special events only you don’t get to keep it. I was not aware of this or I wouldn’t have paid for it! Only lasted two special events that are only 48 hours long anyway. The main storyline is so tedious that I only played during the events but this issue has turned me away from the game entirely. Not to mention that most of the paid add ons are awful deals for the consumer, more so than other games. The special event that loads twice a week says you are in first then you get rewards for 500th place. There’s only two parks available so if you did the no ads you get through the game really fast.
