However the card does not appear on the Dashboard the old one is still there stating stolen, but not the new one? Trying to figure out how to put the new one on the Dashboard is impossible! **Developer response:** We're sorry for the frustration. This probly happens about once or twice a week. App is always updated, latest iOS etc and often have to resort to using the website to access up to date account info. And the convenience of being able to take a picture and deposit checks when I’m running late is amazing. No problems with functionality or availability. The one improvement I would like to see is the placement within the deposit process of the message that tells what needs to be part of the endorsement. I have a few banking apps I use and they are all different. Because the message is on the third screen in, where I take a picture of the back of the check, I always end up having to cancel the deposit at that point, endorse the check and start over. Please make it so the instructions don’t cover up 1/3 of the screen every time I go to deposit a check. I can’t even get into the app for two days now. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App is Garbage *2026-07-24* I never write reviews for apps, but this one is so terrible that it warrants it. 75% of the time when I go to check my balances, I get errors saying I can’t check my accounts. Sometimes the errors don’t clear after a couple of days, or if I change WiFi/cellular connections, and I just have to wait. Why do I even bother? I’m gonna just go back to pen and paper to keep track of everything because this might be one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Does it get updated? Is anyone working on it? I’ve deposited electronically several hundred dollars into my account and the app will not update to show the deposits. I feel that, in this day and age, we should be able to see automatic updates. ### 1/5 — Don’t Bank Here *2025-12-11* There’s been an issue with mountain west each month if not more than one a month for the last year with transfers from one account to another within mountain west not posting timely (personal accounts not transferring timely), deposits not showing or showing then being denied days later, the available amount not being accurate and transactions denied even when more than the funds needed are there, the login portal being down 3-4 times this year and outside of that when the portal login works the app or site states it is unable to show accurate funds. The site frequently says down for maintenance. It’s been a whole mess! For such a big bank I don’t understand how the whole system is so broken or how they’ve opened new branches around me. I have accounts with other banks none of which ever have these issues. Since I have had the new app, first I couldn’t download it. Then when I called in it finally downloaded and it was good for a little. Today it wouldn’t let me in my accounts. I called and they told me to delete the app and download it again. It still won’t let me use it. Also no cash deposits available on weekends. I got charged 180 in overdraft fees that were auto pay not charges. I much rather you cancel payment than charge me 30 dollars a time for charges that are between 10-20 dollars that are auto paid. Please have a better option.
