Carts do not sync with website, and the conversion tools could use a wire gauge calculator converter. It works but its not great.

while the app is handy , it’s essentially a novelty as with no ability to log into one’s mouser account, you’re not able to place orders (as i have to have all orders in my account’s order history). 

additionally I was hoping to be able to add products while on the go, and then when back at my PC - review the parts prior to placing orders, again with no ability to login , on the app, it’s essentially like I’m buying from a different company.  hopefully this will be improved.

Trying to use the app since our internet is down at work. If we can’t log-in to our account what use is this app?

I spent weeks getting an order together and then made the mistake of downloading the app. I signed in and my cart was empty. I thought maybe if I added a part it would force it to update and show my order I had been working on. It gives you a pop up message that ask you if you want to merge or cancel. Merging comes with a warning that you might end up with extra parts. It never once mentioned that “merge” means it wipes the cart you had been working on the web version! 
My second gripe is that I spent a good 5 minutes trying to figure out the most lousy search function I’ve ever dealt with. 
The only thing useful on this app is their conversion tools but that doesn’t make it worth keeping for that alone.

I have a couple projects on my Mouser account.  Don’t want to recreate them on the app.  Will reinstall when that is fixed.

Mouser have very high standards on their web page. This app does not do it justice. Type in a simple capacitor prefix UES and nothing gets returned. It might be best to pull it till it’s ready.

This app needs a signin to accounts, and a guide hard to find were to save projects when you don't use because it does not connect to account.

Please fix it so that when I hit back, the default isn’t to lose all my carefully chosen filters. 

When you have so many products - it takes considerable effort to pare down to what you need. Then start adding to the cart. One mistaken press and you are doing it all over. It’s maddening.

It cannot even look up a part by the Mouser P/N, nor correctly scan the barcode on the packaging. Had to use the mouser website to find the part.

The app kind of opens the website within itself but also has a few of its own buttons so you’re never quite sure were you’re meant to click.
It’s very confusing and people would be better off just going to the website

While the app was installing I thought maybe I should check the reviews knowing the website was its own special place on the internet.  F’n hilarious! “Useless, pointless, comically bad” I immediately deleted the app. Never even opened it. 😂

Sur les outils, les conversion sont impossibles avec les décimales car sur le pavé numérique est afficher une virgule(,) alors que le l’application ne fonctionne qu’avec le point.

### 5/5 — (Finally) Useful as a Catalog Search Tool

This is not a mobile front end for your Mouser account (and it’d sure be more handy if it were), but with the added abilities to filter by stock status and sort by price, it finally works as a catalog search tool when I’m looking for something I might... y’know... actually want to buy instead of just look at. Seems basic, but both the app and the mobile site lacked those things for a long time. The next “seems basic” would be to give me the opportunity to buy those things with my Mouser account through the app rather than having to hand enter them later, but baby steps, I suppose. (I know this stuff can take a long time to deploy, but I hope that’s at least in the works.)

I think this is probably a three star app in its present state, given the working search but the lack of account integration. It’s getting five stars though, because I do actually find the search more useful, and its current low rating actually kept me from giving it another try after a rather disappointing experience with an older version.

This app augments the Mouser website.  The most useful feature to me is the barcode scanner--I scan the barcode Mouser puts on each bag in my order, the I can quickly pull up the datasheet on that part. I can also get to the rest of that order (ie. "which project did I order these for?")

During prototype assembly I've got a pile of parts. It's faster to scan the barcode on a bag than to go to mfg's web page for each part, or type each SKU into the Mouser website.

So far, I’ve been able to search and filter items similarly as using the website. But would really make the app useful to me if I could sign in to my current account.

Overall a solid app, but I'm really missing a login/account feature that lets you see your order history and saved projects. Right now the app „only“ allows direct shopping - but this is indeed a lot more comfortable on mobile devices than the standard website design.

If you are trying to use the search mode, it could take days to find what your looking for. But with scan feature if you want to re order it’s simple and fast.But if you want to go to your account and check on an order, forget it . It’s much easier to go direst to the website.
