### 2/5 — No new features

*2026-07-06, version 5.7.7*

I’ve been a user for years now but the app is getting stale. The workouts focuses a lot on super setting and HIIT/Hyrox style. The meals aren’t intuitive regardless of macros. Some ingredients can’t swap from raw to cooked (bug) and it’s frustrating when the app session ends and you have to sign in again which is annoying since I use it everyday and it’s especially annoying when you’re half way through a workout!

### 3/5 — Great workouts but definitely room for improvement with the features

*2026-06-23, version 5.7.6*

I really wish you could log your weight/sets to track your progress. Also, the rest timer only works for me if I’m in the app with my phone on which is a pain because I love to use rest time to multitask

### 4/5 — Changes that would be great! 🙂

*2026-04-16, version 5.7.4*

Only giving this a 4 star because of this. And currently can’t make too much use of it. Overall the app is amazing! But some of these changes would be awesome to feel like I’m making use of the app entirely! Not only sometimes. Or creating an option for the food part only and tracking intake.

1. The option to adjust calorie intake when not working out or when injured would be really helpful. I got injured and had to stop training, and without that option I noticed I stopped using the app, which is a bit sad because it’s such a great app. It would be amazing to be able to use it as an everyday app, not just when you’re actively working out.

2. Also, being able to add a photo of your food (similar to MyFitnessPal) and have it count the calories instead of having to add a recipe and save it. Sometimes I don’t want to save a recipe — it might just be something simple I eat that day, like beans. Having a quick add button for that day to add or remove a meal just to track calories for that day would be great.

3. I also think there should be a faster option for bulk prepping. I don’t have time to cook different meals every day, so I usually cook the same thing for a few days or a week. It would be nice to calculate bulk amounts without having to click the + sign on each meal. And then a faster option to put it back to one serving after cooking in bulk amounts

4. Since I’m currently not able to use my arms, I’m walking and hiking only. It would be cool to be able to track that somehow and other workouts. I have both the Garmin and Apple Watch. Lately I’ve been using the Garmin. It does track everything on their app. But I would be cool to integrate those workouts in this app if we aren’t able to do any programs that the app offers.

This would make everything much easier and reduce the need to use multiple apps. Especially for those who might be injured or just can’t workout for whatever reason 🙂. It also makes me feel better knowing that I have all that in one app and not paying for something I can’t really use right now. The it makes me question if I should cancel the app.

### 4/5 — Needs to sync with Apple Health

*2025-12-29, version 5.6.0*

Love the app however, it really needs to sync with Apple health more than it currently does. This would negate the need to manually record sleep and ensure that the workout and heart rate activity can be tracked across both the MWU app and with Apple health. These are only a couple of ways the user experience could be improved. It would also be nice to be able to view the workout as a whole whilst during the workout without having to jump out of it and then go back into it.

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2025-12-13, version 5.6.0*

I love the app. It has a few kinks to be worked out in the food tracking side but nothing I can’t live with so far.

The work outs are solid and I like having the flexibility of location (gym &home)

Special shoutout to a lovely Customer rep named Ally because she emailed me that I had somehow signed up twice and had one subscription coming from Apple Store and another that I paid on the website. She proactively emailed me to ask if this was intention (it wasn’t) and quickly helped me resolve. I’m an even happier customer to know they actually have a team that cares about their customers instead of being for the money grab like all these other fitness/diet apps. Truly appreciate MWU team and never change!

### 5/5 — Doesn’t get any better than this!

*2025-11-06, version 5.5.1*

No one and nothing is better than Rachel Dillon and her crew. They’ve mastered the workout app and their workouts are 🔥❤️‍🔥

### 2/5 — Freezes Constantly!

*2025-09-30, version 5.4.4*

Freezes everytime I try and click on a recipe!!

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2025-08-05, version 5.4.0*

Great workout plans & options all in one app!

### 5/5 — Highly recommend

*2025-07-20, version 5.3.0*

Absolutely love my MWU app! So many options to better yourself and it keeps me accountable!

### 5/5 — The Best Fitness App Ever!

*2025-07-02, version 5.3.0*

The Best Fitness App Ever! Lots of programs easy to follow and options for the gym and training at home. Love it

### 4/5 — Love it!

*2025-05-20, version 5.1.0*

This app is awesome and more affordable than others I have used. The only thing I would love to add is a tracking system on the workouts so I could note how much weight I have been using.

### 5/5 — Best fitness app ever

*2025-04-23, version 5.0.1*

I can't describe how much I love this app. It a word: its home. I'm always so exited to use it, and its such a breeze to use. I love the programs and challenges. They're so challenging and so fun. The quality and quantity of workouts you get is amazing.

### 4/5 — App bug

*2025-04-18, version 5.0.1*

The workouts are great but the app itself is buggy after the last update. I don’t know how to submit a problem about it but what it does is - when you start a workout and go through it but want to come out of it and click pause then end workout it automatically marks it all as complete and you have to re start and click back through to where you were. Hopefully this makes sense and the bug can be fixed soon.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Pregnancy Program

*2026-08-10, version 5.7.8*

Recommend the free trial first. Learn from my mistakes and don’t pay the annual subscription. Far from enjoyed it. Much preferred the sweat app. The functionality is poor. The recipes aren’t pregnancy friendly which makes that component useless. Wasted $200 for a week of workouts I didn’t actually enjoy.

### 1/5 — Wasting Time

*2025-07-25, version 5.3.0*

There’s a home vs gym workout however the home version still requires equipment. You could alternate the workout, but you have to manually apply the substitute.

### 1/5 — Very disappointing

*2025-05-09, version 5.0.1*

I signed up under the impression I would receive the move with us shirt and when this didn’t arrive after 2 weeks of waiting, I emailed the team to ask about it and received a very rude response from the team. Really disappointed in the attitude from your team. The programs are fine for beginners, but I would recommend that people get a pt instead of you want real results.

Poor effort team.

12 months later, no response, and the have the Audacity to charge me again. CANCEL MY ACCOUNT

### 1/5 — No flexibility or maintenance mode for annual members

*2025-04-25*

The app has great potential, but the experience is frustrating. Even with an annual membership, you can’t access basic features like workouts or meal plans unless you’re in an active challenge. This forces you to join challenges just to unlock the core features, which completely takes the meaning out of actually doing a challenge. I’ve found myself constantly ignoring challenge notifications just to use the app, and then when I finally join a real challenge, the notifications don’t feel motivating—they’re just noise I’m used to tuning out.

There’s also no “maintenance mode,” which would be so helpful, especially for beginners trying to ease into the app or anyone wanting to track meals/workouts in between challenges. It doesn’t make sense that we’re asked about our tracking habits on sign-up but can’t actually track outside of set dates. Paying members deserve flexible access.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your detailed feedback Katie, it’s incredibly valuable, and we completely understand your point of view.

We’re actively working on these features, we agree that flexibility is essential, especially for those looking to build healthy habits at their own pace.

Thanks again for your honesty and patience as we work to improve the experience xx

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2025-03-16, version 4.19.0*

Started the free trial, started a program, had a look at the programs. The most stupid programs. Started a beginner program, it was literally just warm up stretches. No weights. So dumb.

### 1/5 — Very surprised of positive reviews

*2025-02-13, version 4.18.0*

A big surprise of positive feedback… They charge you for at least six months and then charge you again after that. This is a trap and a scam. Be very careful! I hope someone reads my review and avoids this scam.

### 1/5 — Crooks - Beware

*2025-01-26, version 4.17.0*

I’ve been trying to cancel my subscription for months via email and through the website. They keep taking my money. The programs are inferior to what I was previously using.

### 1/5 — Inconsiderate customer service

*2025-01-20*

I bought the one year membership straight up but didn’t see myself reaching for the app at all in the first week. The app already has a free 7 day trial and I unfortunately didn’t activate it and just straight away paid for one year but once I realized I didn’t reach for the app in the first week I messaged the team and explained and asked for a refund and it was not granted. It’s unfortunate I made a small honest mistake and didn’t try the 7 day trial and paid first and didn’t even use the app in the first 7 days but the team were inconsiderate and just took the money and didn’t even offer a partial refund. I understand it was my mistake for not trying it out first through the 7 day free trial but even if I have paid but downloaded and used the app for less that 7 days it should be understandable and a refund should be granted. Seems like the team is money hungry and has 0 compassion.

**Developer response:** Hi there, we are so sorry to hear you are disappointed by our terms and conditions, and we do take all circumstances very seriously, our community is #1. Please reach out via email if you haven't already xx

### 1/5 — Horrible auto-renewal payment

*2024-11-28, version 4.16.0*

I did enjoy this app however I was extremely disappointed when there was no other payment options available, haven’t used this app in a while as I no longer needed it for my fitness journey, the annual auto renewal went through and when I asked if I could get a refund on the day of payment (because I wouldn’t be using the app for the year ahead) I was told that the only way I would receive a refund is if I have an injury. There are so many other fitness apps that allow you at least 7 days to request for a refund after purchase. I found this very disappointing as I was a huge fan of MWU, but their lack of understanding has left me questioning the authenticity of the brand.

### 1/5 — Hard to cancel

*2024-09-20, version 4.13.0*

Took three emails and still got charged a month I didn’t want. They make you jump through hoops to cancel, and then erroneously charge you an additional month after you requested a cancellation a month prior to your subscription. Nothing is more infuriating than having to deal with this. If anything they should have removed the additional month’s charge.
