## What is MoveAtlas?

Find the movement you need, then keep the settings you want to remember. MoveAtlas combines a free offline atlas of 1,324 exercises with your own gym notebook.

Search names in English, French, German and Spanish, including common aliases such as pushups and bench press. Filter by body area, muscle and equipment. Your active gym keeps the results within its equipment.

My gym brings your existing machine cards together, with your notes and personal photos. Search those cards by exercise name or by a setting you wrote, and switch gyms to find the right cards. Favorites remain available from the atlas.

Exercise pages show native reference cards and text instructions. They contain no third-party exercise animations. Names are localized in four languages; this does not mean all technical instructions are translated. Five common movements have French and German instructions checked against the English source; other French and German notices explicitly show the original English. Other language coverage varies.

Generate and save workouts locally. Add an exercise directly to a plan, browse manual alternatives for your gym, replace an item and undo the change. Alternatives are choices to review, not a guarantee that exercises are interchangeable. The generator keeps your equipment and body-area constraints and explains incomplete selections.

The atlas, search, favorites, saved workouts and gym profiles are free. The notebook includes 5 items across personal exercises, machine cards and cycles; eligible users from before version 1.1.0 retain 25. One optional purchase removes that limit, without a subscription. Existing entries remain readable and editable.

No account, ads or analytics. Notes and personal photos stay on this device. Catalogue browsing works offline; purchases and restoration use Apple StoreKit and may require a connection. Unreadable saved data is protected against accidental replacement.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.2 — 2026-09-19

From an exercise, choose or create a gym and save your own machine settings and optional photo. Return to My gym to find the card for that gym on your next visit. The free atlas, saved workouts, notebook limits and one-time purchase are unchanged.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-15

Restoring purchases now also recovers the 25-item founder notebook for eligible users from before 1.1.0 after reinstalling. Confirmed purchases remain available offline. Restoration explains when the App Store cannot verify access. The free atlas, saved data and existing notebook entries remain unchanged.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-10

Exercise titles and search now work in English, French, German and Spanish. My gym gives direct access to your machine cards, with search by movement or personal note.

Native reference cards replace third-party animations. Five common movements have reviewed French and German steps; unreviewed automatic notices use the original English explicitly.

Add movements to saved workouts, browse manual alternatives, replace an exercise and undo the change. Workout generation respects equipment and body-area constraints. Unreadable saved data is protected. Free features, notebook limits and purchase rights are unchanged.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-31

Gym profiles are free and unlimited. Tick the gear your gym actually owns and the atlas keeps only what you can do there.

New and optional: the notebook. Your own exercises with your photos, machine cards photographed per gym, and multi-session cycles with the muscle coverage of the whole rotation. Bought once, never a subscription, five items free before that.

Nothing that was free became paid: atlas, search, favorites, generator, saved plans and plan notes are untouched.

Tips are gone. An app that sells something should not also pass the hat.

Exercise names return to their original wording.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-18

The workout builder is now front and center: generate, edit, save and duplicate local plans by duration, equipment and body focus, alongside 1,324 offline exercises.
