### 4/5 — Love the app but video player…

*2026-07-16, version 1.37.0*

The app and workouts are amazing! Would recommend to anyone looking to increase their strength and endurance for their runs. I would LOVE to see the video player change. It takes a long time for them to load which eats into my workout time.

### 3/5 — The app leaves much to be desired

*2025-09-23*

The app doesn’t have the most intuitive interface (I’d love to give really specific feedback if that’s okay), and the garmin syncing does not live up to my dreams. I had to move an entire program manually and delete duplicates out of my garmin calendar but I can’t decide if that’s an issue with what garmin offers for integrations or if it’s how MM handles the data. I honestly like the approach to training because I don’t identify as a runner. I want to be athletic, not spend a billion hours a week running.

**Developer response:** Hi!

Apologies for the issues with Garmin; we were in beta in the beginning of the year and working out some kinks. We solved most issues by now.

### 4/5 — Love it (mostly)

*2025-06-14, version 1.26.4*

I am absolutely loving the programs in this app, and the interface is great for the strength and mobility exercises. However I would love to see it improved for runs so that it keeps tracking intervals/progress when the phone screen is turned off. I currently need to copy the run intervals into a different running app to avoid the frustration. I’ll still keep paying for it even if that is never fixed as the quality of the programs is outstanding!

### 5/5 — Love but…

*2024-11-22*

The training and guidance Meg provide are exceptional! Can I make two suggestions though? Could you 1) allow the user to download the audio guided runs so that internet is not necessary while out on the run and 2) the ability to schedule my runs for specific days or at least save them in folders so that they’re easier to find? 🙌🏽

**Developer response:** It's possible to download the runs! There is a download button in the preview screen.

Regarding the ability to find active programs/runs we'll look into that.

### 5/5 — Best running/ Strength app!

*2024-08-19, version 1.23.1*

Since being injured since April, I have been adding this program to my routine and it has been great, ticking all the boxes for me: weight lifting, jumping and active recovery. I highly recommend this app. I can’t wait to get back to running and being stronger and more mobile. I will use the app to ease back into running as well.

### 5/5 — Giving me the strength and confidence to run again post babies!

*2024-08-01*

I’m so glad I found your program! I have been running for 6 weeks after having my second baby 16 weeks ago. I am the slowest I’ve ever been, and had been feeling pretty disheartened - but following your 10 week to half marathon program and doing the mobility/strength days and even adding some of those in on run days have helped me immensely! I’m finally feeling strong and confident and really building up my mileage without aches and pains post babies and it’s awesome! Wish I’d found your programs after my first baby!

### 5/5 — Only Day 1

*2024-07-06*

I love the content this creator posts on social media. I found it very helpful as I was getting back into running and working out regularly. I downloaded this app in part because her content is so good and because it came with a trial I felt this was worth a shot. I must say that I am really blown away. I love how detailed the plans, their variety, and how beautifully it’s all put together. I love how starting a workout includes a timer and a demonstration video; I love that feature! I really enjoyed the recorded coaching during my first run; I couldn’t believe how much I was missing this in my life. And for the price this is truly a gem. I can’t stop singing your praises! I am looking forward to this journey and am so grateful I stumbled onto your page one day. I do have 1 request: can you make the timer a larger font size please!? THANK YOU!!

### 5/5 — Best training for Runners

*2024-06-07*

I love all the workouts and exercises you have! And I love seeing the focus on running specifically as I think it is so important and many runners don’t utilize the strength training they should. I also love the variety, the unique but also basic exercises.
Only a few things I would request; larger font on the workouts; I wish I could add to a calendar and make my own program from your list of workouts that I can work around my separate running schedule. And finally I wish there was a swap option to change out within the workout for a similar exercise.

### 4/5 — Great app, but overwhelming

*2024-05-13*

I just downloaded this app and I’m loving the content with regards to the format of how each lesson, exercise, or running program is set up (timed, video examples…).
I would say that there’s an overwhelmingly amount of content from beginner to advanced runs, exercises, etc. which is nice, but makes for a crowded and overwhelming app to swipe through. Nutrition section gets hidden within the app, and favorites get lost as well). I wish there were more descriptive explanations for when/why a workout would be chosen besides a simple title such as: “fast warm up” (fast warm up vs run prep). Lastly, it would be nice to have your current programs on the front page somewhere rather than look for it deep in the different sections. Overall, I’m excited for the content, I’m just personally struggling how to plan my trainings.

### 5/5 — GET THIS APP

*2024-04-11, version 1.19.5*

This app is run by an expert in her field! I usually hate having to pay for fitness apps because I believe fitness should be as accessible as possible, but Meg is clearly making every effort to make her content as accessible as possible. My body feels amazing and can do more than I ever thought possible! LOVE this app!!!

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2024-04-08, version 1.19.5*

I love all the strength and mobility videos and have really noticed a difference since incorporating more plyometrics into my routine. Also love the audio guided runs - these are a game changer especially for beginners!

### 5/5 — Lincoln

*2024-02-23*

This app has been a life changing experience for me. The videos of the workouts are extremely helpful and explained well. Having the audio runs in my ear during the runs are what really make this app unique. I really appreciate the work and knowledge that goes into this app. I actually look forward and am excited to do my workout/runs. Five stars!

### 5/5 — Absolute love it!

*2024-02-22, version 1.19.5*

This app has been amazing. I’ve been using it for a few months and love the variety of runs, guided runs, mobility and strength. It’s easy to follow and has so many options. Absolutely recommend it!

### 5/5 — Best app for runners

*2024-02-12*

This app is awesome! I’ve been following Meg for some time and always enjoyed the workout content she shared. I was looking for an easy way to increase runner specific strength training. I am currently half marathon training and sit at about 25 miles a week and the mobility workouts have helped so much! The video guide is so easy. Really takes the mental work out of training and helps me focus on my body working more efficiently. The intermediate/advanced weight training is no joke, and I feel stronger than ever. I like that many of her moves get you out of your “comfort zone”. The app has had some nice updates recently, glad to see the search and save features! Easiest $20 I spend a month.

### 5/5 — Great program

*2024-01-19, version 1.19.5*

Easy to use, great programming for someone who loves running and strength training. Excited for a new season of structure and injury free running

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — $20

*2025-10-26, version 1.36.3*

$20 for what, what’s your actual cost, Greed is your currency

### 1/5 — Impossible to cancel subscription

*2023-07-10*

I enjoyed using this app when I first downloaded it, but it’s literally impossible to cancel the subscription. Other users noted this so I wish I had seen those reviews earlier. Very frustrating.

### 1/5 — Do not sign up for this

*2023-05-08, version 1.14.3*

There is no way at all to cancel your subscription. I will have to call my bank to stop payment to this merchant and dispute the transaction.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t allow cancel

*2023-04-30, version 1.14.3*

It’s impossible to cancel your subscription.

### 1/5 — $20 / month subscription required

*2023-04-28, version 1.14.3*

I did not use this app, so my review is only about the subscription plan.

In the App Store, it really should state that a PAID subscription is required to use the app. $19.99 per month is asked for up front, before you can even see any of the content. Not a great strategy to get people to use your app. At least give a free trial first or something.

### 2/5 — No support options

*2026-04-24, version 1.37.0*

I’m trying out the app and can not get any support. Audio cuts out when my Apple Watch gives splits. No support option in-app and no response from the website form.
Workouts are ok but I’d like to change some settings, like default to hearing the instructions. No option for that. Needs work

### 2/5 — Great content, poor design.

*2024-04-21*

I don’t know if it’s just me, but the way this app is designed makes it very frustrating to use. I’m not quite sure how I found any nutritional content initially, but the only way I found it again was because it was under the list of things I “liked”. In going through the macros plan, it mentioned a groceries list somewhere on there that I am unable to find. I could not find anything with an in-app search- I searched “nutrition”, “macros”, “groceries,” and nothing came up. It’s too bad because I think Meg is great, but this app design is not. It would be helpful if the app opened to your own personalized page with the plans that you are currently doing, or a tab that you can click on to access the trainings/ nutrition content, instead of having to click through and search for it every time.

### 2/5 — Why is unsubscribe so hard in this app?

*2023-07-15*

I’m a long distance runner preparing for a marathon and I was looking for an app that could help me cross train. I joined the app on the free trial. The app is good and the workouts are good, but I recently joined a running group so I don’t need it anymore. But canceling my subscription it’s being so cumbersome. Why can you make it so easy to sign up but so hard to sign off? Why do I need to send an email through the website and with no confirmation of receipt? This really makes it hard to trust and to recommend.

**Developer response:** Hi Tierra,

That's not our intention, there is a link from within the app. We'll clarify the process.

### 2/5 — Not worth it

*2023-06-27*

It gives some good workouts although the mobility stuff I really *wanted* to like but was way too intense to enjoy without modification options.
I also think the design is just very bad. The name of the exercise covers the video of it and even clicking into “more info” doesn’t really explain the movements well.
Not user-friendly at all, which is a shame. Even knowing there was definitely a way to get a first month free I still somehow ended up getting charged and it is very difficult to figure out how to cancel the subscription. (I panicked when I saw other comments that there is “no way” to cancel - not easy but there is a way - you have to click into Apple ID and then subscriptions.)

### 3/5 — Not for begginers

*2026-04-08, version 1.37.0*

I was doing a beginner 10K program, and two weeks in I already messed up my knees and ankles. I’d say I’m pretty active and not completely new to running, but the program felt too intense without modifications. I don’t think any beginner should be running 5–6 times a week. I love the workouts and the mobility, but I definitely feel more tired than faster—and my legs are done.

### 5/5 — What an awesome resource

*2026-07-13, version 1.37.0*

I started using movement and miles about two months ago to supplement my running program. I use a strength program. As background, I am a certified personal trainer with a background in body building and powerlifting. I took up running a few years ago and have designed my own strength programs to support my running. I felt I needed some running-specific input and signed up to this app. It has been fantastic - new movements and working both big muscle groups as well as stability work. I also find I can add these sessions in and still run, whereas my own strength work tends to make running the next day a little hard. Switching fields is no joke and I have really loved this resource. Thank you so much to Meg for creating it.

### 5/5 — Perfect for running

*2026-06-13, version 1.37.0*

This app is perfect for runners. Of all levels. Had it for a month and excited to see the new results.

### 5/5 — The BEST.

*2026-05-16*

I literally do not know how I did without this app. I was always trying to find a way to incorporate mobility and a strength program for runners into my training, but it never came together. This app and program is so easy to use/ follow, really takes all the guess work out. I am only 2 weeks in, and I immediately can tell where my weak places are thanks to this. I’d highly recommend this program to anyone serious about improving their running.

### 5/5 — Runners PT

*2026-03-29, version 1.37.0*

I started these exercises when I thought I had runners knee but was not yet diagnosed. Now I have the diagnosis but there is so much here my PT later told me to do. I wish I was following these exercises before I was injured because I’m sure they would have prevented it. I will keep this app and supplement my running with these workouts from here forward.

### 5/5 — Physio-Approved!

*2026-03-26, version 1.37.0*

Great programming for running and weight training in various planes, bilateral and unilateral. I often recommend to my patients, especially since we all need to be weightlifting for healthy aging!

### 5/5 — Fantastic app!

*2025-07-02*

My true love is MTBing, but I also love to trail run and kept getting little injuries. After following Meg on IG, I was impressed with her no B.S. approach & got her app. After only using it a few weeks my knees felt so much better & an expected benefit was the boost I noticed riding. Yay for Meg! The workouts are well balanced & she throws in exercises like hopping on one leg over a band, ha! Who knew that could be so hard!?Also got the app for my SIL, she loves it. Meg’s super generous with the trial period, just do it…you won’t regret it:)

### 5/5 — Love these workouts

*2025-06-05, version 1.26.4*

I love these running specific workouts. Beautiful, clear instructions and videos, and great mobility work as well

### 5/5 — Great Workouts

*2025-05-28*

I did the free trial and loved the mobility and injury prevention workouts. They are amazing. My one complaint is I wasn’t interested in using the race & training plans or nutrition content, and I can’t afford to spend $20/mo on a subscription just for the workouts. To be clear, I am in no way accusing the content of being overvalued. The creator deserves to be paid for this amazing work. It would just be more accessible if there were different cost levels for each feature.

### 5/5 — Injury free for over a year

*2025-02-21, version 1.26.0*

Went from running .24 miles while crying from IT Band pain to 100 miler with zero issues. Yes, for real. I stopped relentlessly just foam rolling my IT Band and started incorporating the workouts in this app to my training. I’ve been injury free ever since.

### 5/5 — Meg is the best!

*2025-01-04, version 1.24.2*

I’ve been using this app for almost a year now and my IT band pain has gone away and my running form has improved. I’m running better than ever. I followed the Half Marathon Outdoor training plan for a race in December, and I beat my past PR by 4 minutes. The running plans and workouts in the app are fantastic!
