If this was a “toy” app i can understand it rarely syncing to C4D and crashing when trying to export anything more than 15 seconds. Clearly they must not maintain this app and have no plans on improving it. This app has so much potential I really wish they would develop it accordingly. ### 2/5 — Terrible *2022-06-08, version 1.41* I just installed on my iphone 11 pro, I have a mac m1 and C4D r26, and I was unable to pair it. ### 3/5 — Love the app. Terribly unstable *2022-05-11, version 1.36* Uploading only reliably works in R23. It will crash when you try to connect to any later versions of C4D. Please please add support for 24 FPS!!! Started using this with DAZ character workflow and it is otherwise a great product. ### 4/5 — Works great but am missing blend shape data *2021-12-23, version 1.41* I can bring in my face and it transfers over and moves as it’s supposed to. Issue is in the Blend Shapes tab, there is no data/numbers such as for blink, jaw open etc. Therefore I can’t transfer my face blend shapes data on to another face. I have an iPhone XS Max, tried Cinema 4d R25,24, and 23. It states that you can opt out anytime, but if that were true, it seems as though it wouldn’t be mandatory in the first place. I guess they want to build up a mailing list and then let you opt out. I just deleted it, and it makes me less likely to try any other apps by this company. ### 1/5 — Does not work on iPhone X for full body. *2020-04-24, version 1.1* I got the app because it said compatible with iPhone X. This is only half true. The facial capture only works with iPhone X. You need iPhone “XR” in order to use the full body feature. Exporting!!! There is no easy way to transfer these files to Cinema4D. Cinema4D 2024 doesnt have the extension in the app. What a shame. I still have to experiment with body mocap because it seems a bit sporadic. I use an iPad Pro 2021 and I thought that the LIDAR sensor would yield better results, if it is utilized at all. With future improvements in hardware I’m sure we can achieve excellent body mocap. However, using the iPad as a virtual camera inside Cinema 4d would be a killer feature. If it is possible to implement, it would easily double the value of the app. Thank you. ### 5/5 — To the 1 star review *2021-04-15, version 1.36* It’s only supported on mulch later phones as it need the Ir camera. If you have an older model iPhone or iPad it won’t work. Well yes, it works again, thank you Maxon - that at least is a starting point. Very happy to be capturing full body again, they just need to smooth it out now. Still needs a lot of key reductions to not appear jerky, and has trouble any time you cross your arms in front of your body. Also, seems to be ‘anchored’ to your mid-waist, leaving your feet floating around; if they could get feet planted on the ground somehow it’d be much much better!
