## What is Moveset?

Build your own routine. It talks you through it.

Moveset is a timer for the movement you already do. Type in your steps, set how long each one lasts, and start the routine. A voice reads out each step as it starts and the timer moves on by itself, so the phone can stay in your pocket.

Stretching apps hand you their program. Moveset keeps yours: the hip routine your physio wrote down, and the eight minutes of mobility you will actually repeat on Thursday.

How it works

Make a routine. Add steps. Give each one a length. Tap the routine and it starts.

Typing "Plank 45 seconds" into a step sets its name to Plank and its length to 45 seconds.

What it does

- Says each step out loud the moment it starts.
- Moves to the next step on its own when the time runs out.
- Keeps going with the screen off and the app in the background.
- Shows the routine and its time left on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with buttons to go back, pause and skip.
- Skip forward or go back. Tap back in the first three seconds of a step to return to the one before it; after that, back restarts the step you are on.
- A speed switch runs every step at 1.5x when you are short on time.
- Syncs your routines across your iPhone and iPad through iCloud. No account, no sign-up.
- Share a routine as a file, and open one someone sends you.
- Export all your routines as text, or paste a list in to import it.
- Duplicate a routine to make a shorter or harder version.
- Each routine opens and starts from a link like routines://open?name=Stretch, so a Shortcuts automation or an NFC tag can start it for you.
- Reorder steps by dragging. Tap a step's name to rename it.

Built for

- Stretching and mobility work
- Physical therapy homework, the kind you are meant to do every day
- Warm-ups before lifting or climbing
- Breathwork and cooldowns

About the voices

The built-in voice is free forever, and it works with no internet connection. Premium voices sound like a person instead of a phone, and they are free for your first week. We never start that trial for you: it begins when you confirm a $0 purchase, and it charges nothing when it ends. Once the week is over, they are a one-time $9.99 unlock. There is no subscription, and nothing else in the app is behind it. If a premium voice can't reach the internet mid-routine, the built-in voice reads that step instead.

Tomorrow it is the same routine, and the first step is read out the moment you tap it.
