### 3/5 — Not very practical

*2025-11-03, version 2.27.5*

Seems like everything on this app is about the steps. I wouldn’t sit in the goal. If you can’t do five days a week you have to do every day. Also, if I put it in Pilates that says how many steps I don’t know how many steps is not Pilate still exercise

### 3/5 — Can’t access error

*2025-09-19, version 2.27.5*

I can’t get the app to open on my iPhone.

### 2/5 — Sub par performance in all areas

*2025-08-28, version 2.27.5*

Constantly logs me out of the app. Even if my Apple fitness tracker has a month solid of data I’ve accumulated by exercise, somehow this app shows nothing in the logged activities section. This app looks like and functions like it was designed by an eight grader who failed both a math and a design class.

### 2/5 — Syncing Issues with Fitbit

*2025-06-09, version 2.27.1*

It only stays synced with Fitbit for a short time. Not an easy straightforward process to re-sync.

### 4/5 — MoveSpring App Error

*2025-05-03, version 2.27.1*

Is anyone else having problems logging on the MoveSpring website today?

### 2/5 — Stop banging me

*2025-01-06, version 2.22.1*

I hate that the app will show a bang number for notifications but when I open the app there is nothing to see. It requires deleting the app or clicking on literally EVERY random page/function to make it go away. Cannot figure out what specific thing it requires me to see. So annoying.

### 2/5 — Not a fan

*2024-03-07, version 2.5.19*

Doesn’t track minutes on iPhone. What is up with that?

### 3/5 — Add Widget

*2023-10-26, version 2.5.2*

I suggest to add widget for monitoring steps from out of the app and it will be easy and fast monitoring and motivation for the user.

I hope to see it in next update.

### 3/5 — Drink water

*2023-10-18, version 2.5.2*

Can’t find how to add the water I drink. Very frustrating!

### 3/5 — Download the APP

*2023-09-03, version 2.4.58*

Why are you unable to join MoveSpring as an individual, if you are not associated with a company or organization?
Thanks

### 3/5 — Always logged out

*2023-07-15, version 2.4.55*

The amount of times I have to log back in to this app is ridiculous. It’s enough to make me not want to use it.

### 2/5 — Linking

*2022-12-18, version 2.4.10*

I have to like my device every other day, frustrating

### 3/5 — Does not sync exercise minutes anymore

*2022-11-09, version 2.4.6*

It stopped sync exercise minutes from yesterday which is very odd because it still sync the steps and distance. Currently, the app says 0 exercise minutes although I have 29 minutes on my apple health app.

### 3/5 — Unfair competitions in this app

*2022-10-31, version 2.4.3*

1) One of the team player among our team had total of around 20K steps in a day and got the first place in the rank while the gap between the previous 1st place person and her was more than 32K. How is that possible? Can the app developer explain?
2) There should not be no manual step or activity entry button in the app for the sake of keeping the scores accurate and fair. Whatever the fitbit watch or health app is based on the steps, that should be counted. How can one be sure that the total steps are accurate anyway when there is a manual entering way for it?

### 2/5 — Inaccurate information constantly

*2022-10-20, version 2.4.3*

The app is constantly failing to refresh information, leading to both inaccurate information, and at times different places in the app contradicting themselves. Only terminating and reloading the app seems to reliably cause it to update.

There are are UI irks, primarily that some routes to teams and leaderboards lead to you only seeing a portion of the team or leaderboard with no option to see the whole thing, while others let you see everything. Yet in these cases the buttons and terminology are the same they just behave differently on different screens.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App

*2026-04-28, version 2.27.5*

App constantly freezes and won’t sync correctly

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2025-05-04, version 2.27.1*

I have had the app for 8 months and contacted support 6 times. App doesn’t give you your challenge badges, shuts down for no reason, every time I try to click on something it says ‘oops there’s been a misstep try again’ and now when I try to open it the screen is just a blank white. I’ve tried removing the app and re downloading it and contacting support and nothing. Would not recommend this to anyone! Support will respond and do absolutely nothing to solve the problem.

### 1/5 — Frustrated 😒

*2024-07-05, version 2.14.0*

The app already is annoying in the sense of tracking activities , the app doesn’t sync data from activities like biking and stuff instead the only way we can do is by adding it manually. On top of it the app breaks a lot and the data that’s saved is lost , my efforts for a month and half is in question now since it won’t respond anymore

### 1/5 — Does not work properly - very buggy

*2024-05-01, version 2.9.14*

Does not sync properly at all and the app is super buggy.

### 1/5 — Bad Updates

*2024-02-26, version 2.5.19*

Every time they push out a new update to this app, it makes impossible to log on to the app for several days. Super bad configuration management!!!

### 1/5 — Issues with redownloading

*2023-05-08, version 2.4.26*

I have tried to redownload the app several times and each time it keeps asking for my payment methods.

### 1/5 — Constantly Logs Out of App

*2023-03-06, version 2.4.18*

Constantly logs me out of the app on a regular basis, and brings me to an error message of “Try again later” when I follow the steps given to me by the the support chat. I’m giving up trying to remain logged in. This is annoying as my work uses MoveSpring points towards our health insurance program

### 1/5 — Group Tracking Metrics

*2022-03-03, version 2.2.14*

There seems to be no reason for the order of how people are displayed in the group activity tracking.

### 1/5 — Terrible tracking

*2022-02-03, version 2.2.11*

Refuses to see certain data, only looks at cardio it seems to completely ignore weightlifting app data despite all of it being displayed in Apple Health.

### 1/5 — Don’t bother

*2021-10-29, version 2.2.5*

Shocking UI & over the last two weeks it won’t sync. It let’s me know I’m having trouble syncing my data from my device, however nothing it suggests works. Then it manages to display my steps but won’t sync to my groups challenge. Waste of my time.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2024-08-09, version 2.16.1*

### 5/5 — Great competitions

*2024-06-03, version 2.12.9*

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2024-05-06, version 2.9.14*

Love this app, great for team challenges. Had an issue and was fixed promptly.

### 5/5 — So easy to use and great to get more active !

*2024-03-26, version 2.5.23*

Love this app. It’s great to set team challenges to collectively work together as a group to improve our fitness while having some fun. Recently we did a January blues challenge to try to work off some festive period surplus weight which had great team spirit supporting each other with handy tips and inspiration. It automatically syncs with my Fitbit so it’s simple to check every day how I am tracking on the leader board and with my own personal target.

### 5/5 — Bugs fixed!

*2023-10-14, version 2.5.2*

Fixes were made with app

### 5/5 — Move spring app and customer service

*2023-09-06, version 2.4.58*

My company just started using the MoveSpring app for challenges.
I find the app a pleasure to navigate.
My husband needed to manually enter his information and the customer service side of this company is so impressive!
Their communication skills and problem solving abilities remind me of the excellence of Apple Support!

### 5/5 — Helpful Customer support

*2023-02-06, version 2.4.11*

Had trouble logging in because I used a privacy email and then forgot a way to reset my password but the staff helped and emailed me multiple times the same day during regular business hours. I got the problem solved so it was great. The app is fun for fitness contests with colleagues at work too.

### 5/5 — Great app so far

*2023-01-11*

Used by my company to track a team challenge, works great so far and provides some really cool info.

### 5/5 — Get Moving

*2022-08-01, version 2.3.8*

My company chose this app as a way to encourage employees to get active and challenge ourselves and each other. It was easy to set up, is easy to use and has a convert activity option that allows non-step activities to count towards your goals. Well designed and a great app overall.

### 5/5 — MoveSpring is great to work with and so much fun!

*2022-06-01, version 2.3.5*

I’m not real savvy when it comes to technology. I was having difficulty figuring something out and reached out to their support team. Natalie got back with in an hour with the exact steps that I needed to take and it worked! This is the second time we’ve done this corporate challenge with Move Spring and our nurse heads up the program. I told her my great experience with Natalie today and she said from an administrators standpoint she has had questions too and that they are one of the best support teams she’s ever experienced! Last time we did this we had about 115 employees signed up for it and everybody had so much fun, and we didn’t want it to end.

Move Spring is great for your health as well as developing relationships which is great for the company cultural.
