I’ve had to use it for work fitness challenges four times now and every time it is painful to get set up, it’s slow and activities take forever to sync. It shows I went on a run but no steps for the run or any steps after being counted. Reconnected and checked permissions but nothing smh **Developer response:** Thanks for reporting this. It’s fun and easy to use. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bad app for competition *2026-06-01* Syncing is very confusing and it doesn’t prompt you to allow all activity if say you redownload the app. Also it is way too easy for people to cheat. At 7am on day 1 of our company’s challenge someone recorded 30,000 steps. Pretty sure they just manually entered their step count. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Does not sync well and is always off. Leaderboard does not match steps to what shows on the me page. Do not recommend for your step challenge. **Developer response:** Hi. This is not the experience we aim for. Our technical support team is among the best at cracking issues like the one you describe. If you haven't reached out to them, you definitely should. We'd love to have another chance. ### 1/5 — The Challenge integration is terrible *2026-05-04* Even though the app seems to work fine, collecting data and displaying results within the app, there is a major issue when it comes to challenges. When I tried to join a challenge, everything appeared to be set up correctly, but the app simply wouldn't integrate with it. As a result, none of my data or results showed up within the challenge. I tried everything I could think of, but it just doesn't work. It's extremely frustrating because the app might otherwise be quite good, I'll never know, since I ended up deleting it. **Developer response:** We're sorry for your unsatisfactory experience. Were you able to work with them? ### 1/5 — Neither leaderboard is accurate *2025-05-02, version 4.6.8* We are running a company challenge this month and between the individual leaderboard, team leaderboard, and recorded activities of each individual nothing matches. Some people that have logged say 3 total hours show up as 3 hours individually but only 2 minutes are accounted for on the team page. Hugely disappointing as we are live ### 1/5 — Worst step App out there *2024-07-03, version 4.3.0* This app is glitches out and only records half the steps you actually do in a day. It also has poor online support that can’t help you even when you do get a hold of someone. I would skip this app and look for a better one if you are in a serious step challenge with prizes on the line. ### 1/5 — Super confusing app, always trying to upsell me *2024-05-10* I used this app for a fitness event at my employer. Nice idea, but the UI is super confusing. It is super hard to do even the basic things, like figure out how many steps I have taken, or those of people on my team. The app and website were always trying to upsell me – trying to get me to “schedule a sales call now!“ or whatever. And it kept sending me badges. Every day I would get some random emailed badge with some random name on it, like Jupiter or Saturn. But nowhere did tell me what these badges were actually for! I guess they just send them out at random? Walking steps? Not walking steps? Who knows?! ### 1/5 — Not user friendly. Not working well. *2023-10-17, version 4.1.1* What a stupid app. Each time when I open it, I don’t see the challenge and need to add it all the time, it’s not logic, as I’m a team owner. To find my team list is also a challenge. Not working well. ### 1/5 — Unreliable to support fair competition within Company / Organization *2023-07-19, version 3.8.6* My Company used this app for internal virtual fitness challenge. Some of participants found big loop hole which created unhealthy competition among participants which is double counting on steps / activities of some fitness apps, because this app unable to merge the activities from diff fitness apps. That participant has reported this to the founder of this app and the founder has confirmed the flaw findings, but jnstead of providing solution, he asked the participant to contact suspected participants to disconnect the app from google fit, since one of the flaw was unreliability of this app merging daily steps from google fit to other fitness apps, in which resulted double counting of steps / activities, the participants rejected to contact other suspected participants, even committee also not suggested it, since it will create fights among participants. If founder or developer of this app have confirmed the loop hole finding, why they rejected to fix it or at least take action to it, instead of asking the participant who had initiative to report the finding to confront to other suspected participants with double counting of steps / activities due the the flaw of this apps. Kindly consider to only use app that has good support and appreciate our trust (investment) to use their app. Become reliable doesn’t mean have to be perfect, but able to provide solution and support to every flaw finding, especially when the user who help to find it, instead of they should have evaluate their app properly and consistently improve it, so that users (customers) can get the best service experience out of it. ### 1/5 — Not Functional *2023-04-07, version 3.7.3* This app is not well thought out.
