### 1.1 — 2026-08-27

Six Ready-made wallpapers. All-Timers, Epic Scale, Midnight Crimes, Neon Futures, Saturday Morning and The Rewatch Pile are finished designs, built from films worth the wall. Save one straight to Photos. They work offline, they carry no watermark, and they are free.

Four new monitor sizes: 1080p, 34" ultrawide, Apple Studio Display 5K and Pro Display XDR. Build a desktop background at the size your screen actually is.

Movie Canvas now follows how you are holding your device, so a wallpaper built on an iPad in landscape is composed for a landscape screen. Rotating after the app is already open now works properly, which it did not before.

Shared wallpapers carry a link back to Movie Canvas, so whoever you send one to can make their own. And Movie Canvas asks how you are getting on right after a wallpaper saves. If you like what it made, a rating helps other people find it.

Also fixed: the companion app rows no longer collide at the largest text sizes.
